good_a of_o the_o body_n only_o that_o be_v not_o absolute_o true_a it_o be_v in_o some_o sort_n the_o good_a of_o the_o soul_n because_o the_o soul_n taste_v it_o further_o if_o this_o good_a be_v only_o for_o the_o body_n yet_o it_o do_v not_o follow_v it_o shall_v therefore_o be_v of_o necessity_n unlawful_a since_o we_o be_v not_o always_o forbid_v to_o seek_v the_o good_a of_o the_o body_n but_o we_o ought_v not_o only_o to_o consider_v a_o thing_n in_o its_o self_n to_o know_v whether_o it_o be_v good_a or_o bad_a we_o must_v consider_v it_o in_o its_o cause_n and_o its_o effect_n in_o what_o precede_v it_o what_o may_v be_v the_o consequence_n of_o it_o i_o mean_v that_o the_o pleasure_n which_o come_v to_o the_o soul_n by_o the_o body_n be_v a_o sort_n of_o good_a consider_v in_o itself_o look_v upon_o its_o source_n and_o see_v to_o what_o it_o produce_v the_o source_n be_v sin_n be_v impurity_n be_v rebellion_n against_o the_o law_n of_o our_o creator_n what_o it_o produce_v be_v a_o disunion_n between_o god_n and_o our_o soul_n it_o be_v a_o pawn_n ourselves_o to_o death_n it_o be_v the_o pain_n of_o everlasting_a burn_n how_o can_v we_o under_o the_o idea_n of_o a_o good_a conceive_v a_o thing_n which_o be_v encompass_v about_o by_o so_o many_o moral_a impurity_n and_o such_o real_a mischief_n if_o therefore_o bodily_a pleasure_n can_v be_v call_v a_o good_a with_o respect_n to_o the_o present_a sentiment_n of_o the_o soul_n it_o be_v a_o evil_a in_o all_o other_o regard_v it_o be_v a_o evil_a to_o speak_v absolute_o and_o therefore_o the_o wife_a man_n of_o all_o age_n have_v place_v it_o among_o the_o false_a good_n for_o a_o true_a good_a aught_o to_o be_v good_a on_o every_o side_n we_o view_v it_o the_o soul_n than_o have_v no_o true_a pleasure_n but_o what_o arise_v from_o its_o union_n with_o god_n and_o this_o union_n be_v fortify_v according_a to_o the_o measure_n that_o we_o loosen_v ourselves_o from_o sensible_a thing_n and_o be_v unite_v to_o god_n by_o the_o knowledge_n of_o his_o truth_n not_o of_o those_o verity_n which_o philosophy_n seek_v after_o and_o never_o find_v with_o any_o certainty_n but_o of_o those_o divine_a truth_n which_o faith_n discover_v to_o we_o of_o those_o wholesome_a verity_n which_o be_v the_o candle_n of_o the_o soul_n thy_o word_n be_v a_o lamp_n to_o my_o foot_n and_o a_o light_n to_o my_o path_n it_o enlighten_v the_o eye_n and_o make_v wise_a the_o simple_a the_o second_o bond_n whereby_o we_o be_v unite_v to_o god_n be_v virtue_n the_o practice_n of_o which_o render_v we_o like_a to_o our_o creator_n renew_v his_o image_n in_o we_o and_o make_v we_o to_o be_v the_o copy_n of_o that_o beauty_n whereof_o he_o be_v the_o original_a the_o three_o cord_n be_v
