several_a other_o point_n of_o doctrine_n confess_o for_o very_a many_o age_n universal_o embrace_v by_o all_o catholic_n and_o conspicuous_a in_o the_o public_a profession_n and_o practice_n of_o the_o church_n and_o in_o this_o double_a division_n both_o from_o the_o faith_n and_o external_a communion_n of_o the_o catholic_a church_n have_v the_o english_a nation_n continue_v ever_o since_o therefore_o according_a to_o the_o notion_n of_o schism_n which_o we_o have_v from_o antiquity_n and_o plain_a express_a reason_n the_o english-protestant-church_n be_v proper_o schismatical_a and_o heretical_a 3._o on_o the_o contrary_a the_o roman_a church_n acknowledge_v by_o all_o englishman_n to_o have_v be_v the_o catholic_a church_n and_o even_o since_o the_o separation_n allow_v by_o english_a protestant_n themselves_o to_o be_v at_o least_o a_o true_a member_n of_o the_o catholic_a church_n have_v continue_v to_o this_o day_n in_o the_o same_o form_n of_o external_a communion_n that_o she_o have_v before_o have_v not_o actual_o nor_o active_o separate_v from_o any_o church_n pre-existent_a much_o less_o from_o the_o whole_a body_n have_v change_v nothing_o of_o doctrine_n etc._n etc._n therefore_o if_o she_o be_v the_o catholic_a church_n before_o she_o be_v so_o still_o however_o she_o can_v in_o any_o the_o least_o show_n of_o reason_n be_v call_v schismatical_a 4._o question_v the_o substance_n of_o that_o truth_n herein_o contain_v chap._n lii_o application_n of_o these_o proof_n to_o the_o advantage_n of_o the_o roman_a catholic_a church_n and_o against_o protestant_n etc._n etc._n 1._o the_o cause_n therefore_o be_v clear_a in_o the_o general_a thesis_n that_o the_o father_n opinion_n be_v that_o by_o virtue_n of_o christ_n express_a promise_n his_o church_n be_v to_o continue_v visible_a and_o distinguishable_a from_o all_o other_o unlawful_a congregation_n to_o the_o world_n end_n this_o i_o do_v not_o find_v deny_v by_o the_o english_a church_n though_o they_o challenge_v the_o title_n of_o catholic_a church_n that_o be_v true_a member_n of_o the_o catholic_a yet_o i_o do_v not_o find_v that_o they_o make_v a_o association_n to_o their_o external_a communion_n a_o necessary_a condition_n to_o all_o christian_n 3._o the_o english_a protestant_n say_v no_o against_o all_o roman_a catholic_n who_o unanimous_o affirm_v that_o since_o such_o discourse_n of_o the_o father_n be_v ground_v upon_o christ_n promise_n to_o his_o church_n which_o be_v to_o be_v effectual_a to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n that_o therefore_o guilty_a of_o schism_n since_o he_o who_o separate_v from_o a_o acknowledge_v true_a member_n of_o the_o catholic_a church_n do_v consequent_o separate_v from_o the_o catholic_a church_n 5._o second_o they_o acknowledge_v that_o the_o whole_a body_n of_o the_o present_a catholic_a church_n enjoy_v the_o same_o privilege_n and_o authority_n that_o it_o do_v in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o ancient_a the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n call_v catholic_n even_o in_o their_o sense_n as_o e._n g._n acknowledge_v the_o bless_a sacrament_n to_o be_v a_o proper_a sacrifice_n propitiatory_a for_o quick_a and_o dead_a the_o real_a presence_n per_fw-la modum_fw-la transmutationis_fw-la prayer_n for_o dead_a and_o purgatory_n invocation_n of_o sâ—ines_n veneration_n of_o image_n etc._n etc._n
