great_a relief_n but_o her_o husband_n be_v dead_a as_o well_o as_o her_o son_n both_o go_v and_o she_o only_o survive_v to_o lament_v the_o loss_n of_o those_o comfort_n that_o once_o she_o have_v relation_n the_o occasion_n and_o reason_n of_o such_o miraculous_a special_a resurrection_n be_v remove_v by_o a_o sufficient_a and_o full_a evidence_n and_o confirmation_n of_o christ_n divine_a power_n and_o godhead_n yet_o those_o that_o now_o bury_v their_o relation_n if_o they_o be_v such_o as_o die_v in_o christ_n have_v as_o good_a and_o sufficient_a reason_n to_o moderate_v their_o passion_n as_o this_o mourner_n have_v and_o do_v as_o true_o come_v within_o the_o reach_n and_o compass_v of_o this_o christ_n comfortable_a and_o support_a council_n weep_v not_o as_o the_o do_v for_o do_v but_o consider_v what_o of_o support_n or_o comfort_n can_v a_o particular_a and_o present_a resurrection_n from_o the_o dead_a give_v we_o more_o than_o that_o it_o be_v and_o as_o it_o back_o again_o into_o the_o ocean_n it_o be_v matter_n of_o trouble_n to_o many_o die_a saint_n to_o hear_v of_o the_o likelihood_n of_o their_o return_v again_o when_o they_o be_v get_v so_o nigh_o to_o heaven_n it_o be_v once_o the_o case_n of_o a_o godly_a minister_n of_o this_o nation_n who_o be_v much_o trouble_v at_o his_o return_n and_o say_v i_o be_o like_o a_o sheep_n drive_v out_o of_o the_o storm_n almost_o to_o the_o fold_n and_o then_o drive_v back_o into_o the_o storm_n again_o or_o a_o weary_a traveller_n that_o be_v come_v near_o his_o home_n and_o then_o must_v go_v back_o to_o fetch_v somewhat_o he_o have_v forget_v or_o a_o apprentice_n who_o time_n be_v almost_o expire_v and_o then_o must_v begin_v a_o new_a term_n but_o to_o die_v and_o then_o return_v again_o from_o the_o dead_a have_v less_o of_o privilege_n than_o to_o return_v only_o from_o the_o brink_n of_o the_o grave_n for_o the_o sick_a have_v not_o yet_o feel_v the_o agony_n and_o last_o struggle_v or_o pang_n ofdeath_o but_o such_o have_v feel_v they_o once_o and_o must_v feel_v they_o again_o they_o must_v die_v twice_o before_o they_o can_v be_v happy_a once_o and_o beside_o during_o the_o little_a time_n they_o spend_v on_o earth_n betwixt_o the_o first_o and_o second_o dissolution_n there_o be_v a_o perfect_a 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d forgetfulness_n and_o insensibleness_n of_o all_o that_o which_o they_o see_v or_o enjoy_v in_o their_o state_n of_o separation_n it_o be_v necessary_a both_o for_o they_o and_o other_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v so_o for_o themselves_o its_o necessary_a that_o they_o may_v be_v content_a to_o live_v and_o endure_v the_o time_n of_o separation_n from_o that_o durent_fw-la bless_a and_o ineffable_a state_n quiet_o and_o patient_o and_o for_o other_o that_o they_o may_v live_v by_o faith_n and_o not_o by_o sense_n and_o build_v upon_o divine_a and_o not_o humane_a authority_n and_o report_n so_o that_o here_o you_o see_v their_o agony_n and_o pang_n be_v double_v and_o yet_o their_o life_n not_o sweeten_v by_o any_o sense_n
of_o their_o happiness_n which_o return_v and_o remain_v with_o they_o and_o therefore_o it_o can_v be_v no_o such_o privilege_n to_o they_o and_o for_o their_o relation_n though_o it_o be_v some_o comfort_n to_o receive_v they_o again_o from_o the_o dead_a yet_o the_o consideration_n that_o they_o be_v return_v to_o they_o into_o the_o stormy_a sea_n to_o partake_v of_o new_a sorrow_n and_o trouble_n from_o which_o they_o be_v late_o free_a and_o in_o a_o short_a time_n they_o must_v part_v with_o they_o again_o and_o feel_v the_o double_a sorrow_n of_o a_o part_a pull_n which_o other_o feel_v but_o once_o sure_o such_o a_o particular_a resurrection_n consider_v in_o itself_o be_v no_o such_o ground_n of_o comfort_n as_o at_o first_o we_o may_v imagine_v it_o to_o be_v it_o remain_v then_o that_o the_o ground_n of_o all_o solid_a comfort_n and_o relief_n against_o the_o death_n of_o our_o relation_n lie_v in_o the_o general_n and_o last_o loc._n resurrection_n and_o what_o be_v in_o a_o particular_a one_o be_v but_o as_o it_o be_v a_o specimen_fw-la and_o evidence_n of_o the_o general_a and_o there_o the_o apostle_n place_n our_o relief_n 1_o thes._n 4._o 17._o that_o we_o shall_v see_v &_o enjoy_v they_o again_o at_o the_o lord_n come_v and_o sure_o this_o be_v more_o than_o if_o with_o this_o mother_n in_o the_o text_n we_o shall_v present_o receive_v they_o from_o the_o dead_a as_o she_o do_v her_o son_n and_o if_o we_o judge_v not_o so_o it_o be_v because_o our_o heart_n be_v carnal_a and_o measure_v thing_n rather_o by_o time_n and_o sense_n than_o by_o faith_n and_o eternity_n thus_o you_o see_v the_o council_n with_o its_o ground_n which_o for_o the_o most_o part_n be_v common_a to_o other_o christian_a mourner_n with_o she_o the_o difference_n 29_o 30_o but_o this_o i_o say_v brethren_n the_o time_n be_v short_a it_o remain_v that_o both_o they_o that_o have_v wife_n be_v as_o though_o they_o have_v none_o and_o they_o that_o weep_v as_o though_o they_o weep_v not_o and_o those_o that_o rejoice_v as_o though_o they_o rejoice_v not_o as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v the_o float_a world_n be_v near_o its_o port_n god_n have_v contract_v the_o sail_n of_o 〈◊〉_d man_n life_n it_o be_v but_o a_o point_n of_o time_n we_o have_v to_o live_v and_o short_o it_o will_v not_o be_v a_o point_n to_o choose_v whether_o we_o have_v wife_n or_o not_o child_n or_o not_o all_o these_o be_v time-eaten_a thing_n and_o before_o the_o expect_a fruit_n of_o these_o comfort_n be_v ripe_a we_o ourselves_o may_v be_v rot_v it_o be_v therefore_o a_o high_a point_n of_o wisdom_n to_o look_v upon_o thing_n which_o short_o will_v not_o be_v as_o if_o already_o they_o be_v not_o and_o to_o behave_v ourselves_o in_o the_o loss_n of_o these_o carnal_a enjoyment_n as_o the_o natural_a man_n behave_v himself_o in_o the_o use_n of_o spiritual_a ordinance_n he_o hear_v as_o if_o he_o hear_v not_o and_o we_o shall_v weep_v as_o if_o we_o weep_v not_o their_o affection_n be_v a_o little_a move_v sometime_o by_o spiritual_a thing_n but_o they_o never_o lie_v they_o so_o to_o heart_n as_o to_o be_v break_v heart_v for_o the_o sin_n they_o hear_v of_o or_o deep_o affect_v with_o the_o glory_n reveal_v we_o also_o ought_v to_o be_v sensible_a of_o the_o stroke_n god_n upon_o our_o dear_a relation_n but_o yet_o still_o we_o must_v weep_v as_o if_o purpose_n the_o apostle_n exhort_v heb._n 12._o 5_o my_o son_n despise_v not_o the_o chasten_n of_o the_o lord_n neither_o faint_a when_o thou_o be_v rebuke_v of_o he_o these_o be_v two_o extreme_n despise_v and_o faint_v when_o god_n be_v correct_v to_o say_v i_o do_v not_o regard_v it_o let_v god_n take_v all_o if_o he_o will_v if_o my_o estate_n must_v go_v let_v it_o go_v if_o my_o child_n
