from_o god_n yet_o satan_n have_v a_o foolish_a sensual_a heart_n or_o principle_n in_o the_o heart_n to_o work_v upon_o will_v be_v play_v the_o part_n of_o a_o evil_a slave_n and_o suggest_v hard_a thought_n into_o our_o heart_n as_o if_o they_o proceed_v from_o god_n hatred_n of_o we_o and_o so_o from_o sense_n of_o corruption_n yet_o remain_v in_o we_o he_o often_o assault_v to_o cast_v away_o the_o confidence_n we_o have_v in_o god_n goodness_n and_o persuade_v we_o that_o he_o love_v we_o not_o or_o be_v not_o faithful_a etc._n etc._n which_o thought_n listen_v to_o sure_o oppress_v some_o in_o their_o way_n and_o make_v their_o spirit_n utter_o faint_a within_o they_o yea_o to_o desperation_n he_o often_o hence_o endeavour_v to_o thrust_v some_o from_o the_o consideration_n of_o their_o sinful_a fail_n and_o backslide_n the_o hiding_n of_o god_n face_n want_v of_o visit_n from_o he_o want_v of_o fruitfulness_n in_o themselves_o etc._n etc._n and_o may_v he_o have_v his_o will_v he_o will_v here_o sure_o devour_v and_o undo_v many_o some_o he_o set_v on_o more_o violent_o this_o way_n and_o some_o in_o the_o other_o way_n but_o all_o in_o one_o way_n or_o other_o must_v expect_v temptation_n and_o therefore_o have_v need_n gird_v up_o their_o loin_n prepare_v themselves_o for_o the_o encounter_n and_o therein_o quit_v themselves_o like_o man_n that_o they_o may_v overcome_v and_o the_o crown_n of_o righteousness_n be_v give_v they_o and_o indeed_o the_o promise_n of_o enjoy_v the_o glory_n of_o that_o state_n to_o which_o they_o be_v call_v in_o the_o eternal_a kingdom_n be_v pronounce_v by_o christ_n upon_o such_o as_o shall_v endure_v temptation_n and_o overcome_v and_o not_o be_v overcome_v of_o they_o now_o that_o saint_n may_v as_o well_o stand_v fast_o in_o the_o day_n of_o their_o opposition_n and_o wilderness_n walking_n as_o be_v mind_v of_o their_o condition_n and_o danger_n thereunto_o belong_v i_o shall_v proceed_v in_o the_o next_o place_n to_o lay_v down_o the_o help_v afford_v of_o god_n for_o their_o overcome_a and_o oh_o that_o god_n may_v so_o overcome_v all_o our_o heart_n thorough_o to_o close_v with_o they_o and_o faithful_o to_o make_v use_n of_o they_o and_o walk_v in_o they_o that_o we_o may_v be_v able_a to_o withstand_v and_o put_v to_o flight_v the_o wicked_a one_o work_v out_o though_o not_o work_v for_o finish_v though_o not_o by_o our_o own_o strength_n fetch_v in_o our_o own_o salvation_n chap._n four_o show_v the_o remedy_n against_o temptation_n sect._n i._n that_o god_n have_v provide_v we_o remedy_n the_o consideration_n of_o your_o present_a weakness_n with_o the_o sharp_a warfare_n in_o which_o your_o state_n stand_v here_o in_o the_o flesh_n if_o look_v upon_o alone_a may_v breed_v discouragement_n in_o your_o heart_n and_o make_v you_o say_v as_o sometime_o the_o unbelieve_a israelite_n though_o the_o land_n that_o be_v give_v the_o state_n we_o be_v call_v to_o of_o grace_n be_v never_o so_o good_a in_o itself_o yet_o it_o be_v too_o difficult_a to_o be_v attain_v by_o we_o the_o city_n be_v wall_v up_o to_o heaven_n the_o enemy_n giant_n in_o power_n number_n and_o subtlety_n too_o many_o for_o we_o therefore_o my_o brethren_n i_o must_v entreat_v you_o to_o come_v on_o a_o little_a further_o with_o i_o or_o rather_o to_o look_v back_o to_o what_o i_o mind_v you_o of_o in_o the_o
