whatsoever_o where_o that_o bless_a and_o eternal_a redemption_n in_o the_o person_n of_o christ_n for_o we_o be_v exclude_v i_o say_v through_o faith_n that_o all_o such_o be_v no_o other_o but_o some_o of_o the_o bright_a spark_n of_o satan_n fire_n kindle_v on_o purpose_n to_o lead_v the_o creature_n to_o god_n by_o such_o a_o door_n as_o wherein_o he_o will_v be_v unto_o it_o a_o consume_a fire_n can_v two_o walk_v together_o except_o they_o be_v agree_v that_o man_n know_v neither_o what_o god_n be_v nor_o himself_o that_o think_v to_o attain_v or_o to_o have_v attain_v the_o glorious_a presence_n of_o god_n by_o spirit_n within_o he_o who_o be_v not_o first_o reconcile_v through_o the_o propitiation_n of_o grace_n in_o the_o blood_n of_o jesus_n if_o any_o man_n ask_v as_o they_o often_o do_v how_o can_v redemption_n be_v where_o it_o be_v not_o witness_v where_o conscience_n charge_v of_o sin_n my_o answer_n be_v who_o shall_v lay_v any_o thing_n to_o my_o no_o the_o father_n lay_v our_o sin_n upon_o christ_n to_o take_v they_o away_o whilst_o we_o be_v yet_o enemy_n that_o he_o may_v commend_v his_o great_a love_n to_o we_o this_o be_v reasonable_a with_o god_n the_o son_n rend_v our_o sin_n from_o off_o he_o in_o his_o own_o body_n on_o the_o tree_n because_o he_o can_v not_o be_v hold_v of_o they_o this_o be_v reasonable_a with_o christ_n the_o spirit_n bear_v witness_v that_o all_o thing_n be_v finish_v sin_n death_n and_o the_o flesh_n in_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n unto_o he_o that_o work_v not_o but_o believe_v on_o he_o that_o righteousness_n life_n and_o light_n in_o the_o lord_n whilst_o yet_o i_o be_o in_o many_o darkness_n and_o death_n as_o to_o sense_n and_o feeling_n and_o this_o be_v reason_n as_o in_o the_o mind_n of_o god_n and_o according_a to_o the_o mystery_n of_o christ_n that_o doctrine_n or_o spirit_n how_o mysterious_a soever_o in_o word_n or_o shâ—w_n that_o teach_v redemption_n to_o be_v by_o the_o operation_n of_o the_o spirit_n within_o we_o and_o not_o by_o that_o alone_a operation_n of_o god_n in_o the_o man_n christ_n jesus_n be_v indeed_o the_o excellency_n and_o height_n of_o man_n reason_n and_o thought_n but_o a_o fearful_a contradiction_n to_o that_o high_a reason_n or_o rather_o that_o bless_a mystery_n of_o grace_n that_o appear_v in_o christ_n whereas_o he_o say_v that_o all_o the_o work_n and_o measure_v perform_v by_o the_o creature_n in_o obedience_n to_o the_o light_n within_o do_v all_o complete_a the_o one_o work_n of_o the_o creature_n redemption_n to_o this_o i_o shall_v only_o say_v how_o be_v the_o day_n of_o free_a grace_n set_v upon_o we_o and_o how_o be_v the_o thick_a cloud_n of_o legality_n and_o mysterious_a reason_n spread_v over_o we_o if_o this_o may_v be_v receive_v for_o truth_n and_o let_v i_o only_o remember_v you_o of_o the_o word_n of_o luther_n a_o man_n wise_a and_o mighty_a in_o christ_n then_o i_o which_o follow_v it_o be_v love_n this_o love_n shed_v forth_o into_o our_o heart_n draw_v we_o up_o in_o love_n into_o he_o again_o thus_o we_o love_v he_o because_o he_o love_v we_o first_o the_o father_n give_v a_o people_n for_o all_o to_o be_v know_v and_o believe_v as_o do_v only_o within_o thus_o nothing_o be_v less_o learned_a and_o understand_v by_o the_o most_o of_o religion_n and_o opinion_n that_o be_v than_o faith_n in_o christ_n and_o the_o life_n of_o faith_n sense_n or_o reason_n or_o fancy_n or_o mystical_a legalitie_n all_o which_o in_o the_o account_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v but_o sight_n and_o and_o they_o agree_v in_o one_o god_n send_v forth_o his_o son_n in_o our_o flesh_n for_o a_o propitiation_n for_o sin_n this_o be_v the_o witness_n of_o the_o father_n as_o the_o fountain_n of_o grace_n and_o truth_n christ_n come_v forth_o as_o the_o image_n and_o brightness_n of_o the_o father_n purge_v away_o our_o sin_n by_o himself_o and_o return_v to_o god_n this_o be_v the_o witness_n principle_n of_o reason_n nor_o morality_n nor_o law_n nor_o light_n of_o conscience_n can_v discern_v and_o teach_v but_o the_o alone_a light_n of_o the_o glorious_a gospel_n of_o christ_n shine_v
