at_o this_o time_n live_v in_o heaven_n as_o many_o i_o say_v as_o be_v already_o save_v or_o shall_v even_o until_o the_o very_a end_n of_o the_o world_n be_v bear_v to_o be_v save_v be_v one_o body_n have_v get_v fellowship_n and_o participation_n with_o god_n and_o a_o mutual_a communion_n among_o themselves_o and_o for_o because_o no_o man_n can_v be_v make_v one_o with_o god_n unless_o he_o also_o be_v holy_a &_o pure_a even_o as_o god_n be_v holy_a and_o pure_a therefore_o we_o believe_v that_o the_o church_n holy_a be_v holy_a that_o be_v that_o it_o be_v sanctify_v by_o god_n the_o father_n in_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o son_n and_o the_o gift_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n we_o have_v hear_v testimony_n enough_o in_o the_o former_a sermon_n therefore_o this_o one_o of_o paul_n shall_v be_v sufficient_a which_o he_o write_v to_o the_o ephesian_n christ_n love_v the_o church_n and_o give_v himself_o for_o it_o to_o sanctify_v and_o to_o cleanse_v it_o in_o the_o fountain_n of_o water_n through_o the_o word_n to_o make_v it_o unto_o himself_o a_o glorious_a church_n not_o have_v spot_n or_o wrinkle_n etc_n etc_n by_o which_o word_n we_o understand_v that_o the_o church_n be_v call_v undefiled_a &_o altogether_o clean_o not_o in_o respect_n of_o itself_o but_o because_o of_o christ_n for_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n be_v so_o far_o forth_o holy_a as_o that_o yet_o every_o day_n holy_a it_o do_v go_v forward_o in_o profit_v and_o be_v never_o perfect_a so_o long_o as_o it_o live_v on_o the_o earth_n and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o the_o holiness_n of_o it_o be_v most_o absolute_o perfect_a in_o christ_n whereunto_o very_o belong_v that_o notable_a say_n of_o the_o lord_n he_o that_o be_v wash_v have_v no_o need_n but_o to_o wash_v his_o foot_n only_o for_o he_o be_v whole_o clean_a for_o the_o faithful_a be_v pure_o cleanse_v by_o christ_n who_o wash_v they_o with_o his_o blood_n
but_o yet_o because_o the_o flesh_n do_v strive_v with_o the_o spirit_n so_o long_o as_o life_n remain_v on_o the_o earth_n therefore_o the_o godly_a have_v need_n with_o faith_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n to_o wash_v and_o wipe_v their_o foot_n that_o be_v the_o relic_n and_o spot_v wherewith_o they_o be_v distain_v by_o their_o daily_a conversation_n in_o this_o world_n but_o now_o whereunto_o belong_v this_o that_o be_v add_v the_o communion_n 〈◊〉_d of_o saintes_n these_o word_n be_v neither_o read_z in_o cyprian_a nor_o augustine_n nor_o yet_o by_o they_o expound_v wherefore_o it_o be_v likely_a that_o they_o be_v add_v for_o the_o better_a understanding_n of_o that_o which_o go_v before_o for_o that_o it_o may_v appear_v that_o the_o catholic_a church_n be_v the_o fellowship_n or_o company_n of_o the_o faithful_a he_o add_v the_o communion_n of_o saintes_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v have_v say_v which_o church_n be_v a_o communion_n of_o saintes_n paul_n call_v they_o saint_n which_o for_o their_o faith_n be_v sanctify_v by_o the_o blood_n and_o spirit_n of_o god_n also_o this_o word_n communion_n be_v very_o evident_a and_o comfortable_a for_o first_o the_o meaning_n thereof_o be_v that_o betwixt_o god_n &_o we_o there_o be_v a_o communion_n that_o be_v a_o fellowship_n &_o participation_n and_o so_o consequent_o a_o part_n betwixt_o we_o of_o all_o good_a and_o heavenly_a thing_n and_o then_o also_o we_o understand_v that_o we_o be_v fellow_n and_o partaker_n with_o all_o the_o saintes_n that_o be_v live_v either_o in_o heaven_n or_o on_o earth_n for_o we_o be_v member_n of_o they_o under_o one_o head_n christ_n for_o the_o apostle_n john_n say_v that_o which_o we_o have_v see_v and_o hear_v we_o declare_v unto_o you_o that_o you_o also_o may_v have_v fellowship_n with_o we_o and_o that_o your_o fellowship_n may_v be_v with_o the_o father_n and_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n hereunto_o appertain_v that_o trim_a similitude_n of_o the_o body_n &_o member_n partner_n and_o fellow_n with_o they_o bless_a be_v god_n which_o have_v so_o liberal_o bestow_v his_o blessing_n on_o we_o in_o christ_n his_o son_n to_o this_o place_n belong_v the_o satisfy_v the_o law_n how_o then_o be_v righteousness_n life_n and_o salvation_n promise_v to_o they_o that_o do_v observe_v the_o law_n our_o answer_n be_v forsooth_o that_o that_o promise_n have_v from_o which_o he_o can_v not_o be_v justify_v by_o the_o law_n of_o moses_n and_o to_o this_o place_n now_o belong_v all_o the_o work_n of_o justification_n of_o which_o i_o have_v at_o large_a dispute_v in_o a_o other_o place_n now_o that_o faith_n wherewith_o we_o believe_v that_o christ_n have_v satisfy_v the_o law_n law_n and_o that_o he_o be_v our_o righteousness_n and_o our_o perfection_n be_v neither_o of_o our_o own_o nature_n nor_o of_o our_o own_o merit_n but_o be_v by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n pour_v into_o we_o through_o the_o holy_a spirit_n which_o be_v give_v into_o our_o heart_n this_o spirit_n abide_v in_o our_o heart_n do_v inflame_v our_o breast_n with_o the_o love_n and_o desire_v of_o god_n law_n to_o do_v our_o endeavour_n to_o the_o express_v and_o show_v of_o the_o law_n in_o all_o our_o work_n and_o conversation_n which_o desire_n and_o endeavour_n although_o they_o be_v never_o full_o accomplish_v by_o reason_n of_o the_o sâ—eashes_n frailty_n or_o weakness_n of_o man_n nature_n which_o remain_v in_o we_o even_o till_o the_o last_o gasp_n and_o end_n of_o our_o life_n be_v notwithstanding_o acceptable_a to_o god_n by_o grace_n for_o christ_n his_o sake_n alone_o neither_o do_v any_o godly_a man_n put_v any_o confidence_n in_o this_o other_o but_o in_o the_o first_o fulfil_n of_o the_o law_n as_o that_o which_o be_v only_o the_o love_n of_o god_n that_o we_o keep_v his_o commandment_n and_o his_o commandment_n be_v not_o grievous_a he_o add_v also_o the_o reason_n thereof_o and_o say_v for_o all_o that_o be_v bear_v of_o god_n overcome_v the_o world_n now_o every_o one_o be_v bear_v of_o god_n that_o do_v believe_v as_o be_v declare_v in_o the_o first_o of_o john_n by_o which_o it_o be_v easy_a to_o reconcile_v these_o 2._o place_n which_o seem_v at_o a_o blush_v bear_v to_o jar_v one_o with_o a_o other_o the_o law_n of_o god_n be_v heavy_a which_o neither_o we_o nor_o our_o father_n be_v able_a to_o bear_v and_o the_o law_n of_o god_n be_v not_o grievous_a or_o heavy_a to_o be_v bear_v for_o they_o be_v not_o heavy_a to_o the_o faithful_a which_o be_v in_o christ_n and_o to_o those_o which_o have_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n spirit_n that_o be_v to_o those_o that_o be_v reconcile_v to_o god_n by_o christ_n their_o lord_n and_o saviour_n without_o christ_n &_o faith_n in_o christ_n they_o be_v most_o grievous_a and_o heavy_a to_o be_v bear_v of_o every_o unbeliever_n so_o the_o faithful_a be_v stir_v up_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n do_v voluntary_o and_o of_o his_o own_o accord_n do_v good_a to_o all_o man_n so_o far_o as_o his_o ability_n do_v suffer_v he_o &_o will_v not_o in_o any_o case_n do_v hurt_v to_o any_o man_n not_o forbecause_v he_o fear_v the_o punishment_n that_o in_o the_o law_n be_v appoint_v for_o the_o disobedient_a unjust_a and_o wrongful_a dealer_n but_o forbecause_fw-mi he_o love_v god_n and_o so_o also_o he_o fulfil_v the_o judicial_a law_n here_o i_o know_v full_a well_o the_o thou_o will_v law_n make_v this_o objection_n and_o say_v if_o the_o law_n be_v fulfil_v &_o that_o the_o fulfil_n thereof_o have_v a_o place_n in_o the_o saint_n &_o faithful_a one_o what_o need_v than_o i_o pray_v you_o the_o abrogate_a of_o the_o law_n what_o need_v paul_n and_o all_o the_o best_a divine_v to_o dispute_v so_o large_o of_o the_o abrogation_n of_o the_o same_o i_o will_v therefore_o say_v somewhat_o of_o the_o abrogation_n of_o the_o law_n first_o general_o &_o then_o by_o part_n peculiarly_a but_o first_o of_o all_o
these_o word_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o the_o gospel_n must_v be_v beat_v inâ—o_o the_o head_n of_o every_o godly_a hearer_n think_v not_o say_v he_o that_o i_o be_o come_v to_o destroy_v the_o law_n or_o the_o prophet_n yea_o i_o come_v not_o to_o destroy_v but_o to_o fulfil_v they_o very_o i_o say_v unto_o you_o heaven_n and_o earth_n shall_v pass_v but_o one_o jot_n or_o title_n of_o the_o law_n shall_v not_o pass_v till_o all_o be_v fulfil_v whosoever_o therefore_o shall_v loose_v one_o of_o the_o small_a of_o these_o commandment_n and_o shall_v teach_v man_n so_o he_o shall_v be_v call_v the_o least_o in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n but_o whosoever_o shall_v do_v and_o teach_v they_o he_o shall_v be_v call_v great_a in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n let_v every_o one_o
