indeed_o they_o may_v seem_v in_o opinion_n to_o own_o a_o god_n as_o other_o do_v they_o take_v up_o the_o current_a opinion_n and_o perform_v customary_a worship_n but_o they_o do_v not_o glorify_v he_o as_o god_n or_o repair_v to_o he_o with_o that_o life_n and_o fervency_n as_o those_o that_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o he_o nor_o consecrate_v their_o best_a time_n and_o strength_n and_o affection_n to_o his_o service_n it_o be_v usual_o the_o brokenhearted_a godly_a poor_a and_o those_o that_o have_v have_v frequent_a experience_n of_o the_o change_n of_o providence_n that_o exercise_n themselves_o to_o godliness_n and_o seek_v after_o god_n in_o good_a earnest_n the_o great_a landlord_n of_o the_o world_n have_v more_o rent_n from_o many_o poor_a cottage_n than_o from_o divers_a great_a palace_n for_o they_o wallow_v in_o plenty_n and_o never_o think_v of_o god_n 2._o riches_n keep_v man_n from_o be_v brokenhearted_a and_o see_v their_o need_n of_o christ._n it_o truth_n and_o falsehood_n however_o the_o work_n of_o conscience_n can_v utter_o be_v choke_v and_o deaden_v in_o any_o though_o most_o man_n seek_v to_o stifle_v it_o and_o the_o voice_n of_o it_o be_v oftentime_o unheard_a the_o very_a profane_a have_v hide_v fear_n frequent_o revive_v in_o they_o because_o of_o these_o retribution_n of_o god_n justice_n the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o rom._n 1.32_o who_o know_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n that_o they_o which_o commit_v such_o thing_n be_v worthy_a of_o death_n they_o be_v none_o of_o the_o tender_a man_n that_o be_v here_o speak_v of_o but_o such_o as_o be_v extreme_o debauch_v and_o corrupt_v and_o do_v delight_n in_o the_o company_n of_o those_o who_o be_v as_o corrupt_v as_o themselves_o well_o then_o conscience_n be_v sensible_a of_o a_o reward_n and_o punishment_n but_o this_o be_v not_o full_o nor_o universal_o dispense_v in_o this_o world_n yea_o rather_o the_o worst_a be_v permit_v to_o enjoy_v most_o here_o when_o the_o good_a be_v keep_v in_o a_o low_a and_o bare_a condition_n and_o that_o be_v not_o the_o whole_a case_n the_o worst_a do_v not_o only_o differ_v from_o the_o best_a but_o be_v permit_v to_o triumph_v over_o they_o now_o no_o righteous_a governor_n will_v suffer_v his_o disobedient_a subject_n to_o persecute_v those_o who_o most_o careful_o obey_v he_o if_o he_o have_v power_n to_o remedy_v it_o and_o therefore_o though_o he_o may_v permit_v it_o for_o a_o time_n yet_o he_o will_v call_v they_o to_o a_o account_n and_o then_o amends_o and_o satisfaction_n shall_v be_v make_v to_o they_o
