bring_v forth_o in_o the_o holy_a child_n jesus_n by_o the_o word_n be_v make_v flesh_n and_o through_o his_o death_n and_o resurrection_n come_v to_o their_o full_a maturity_n and_o ripeness_n heavenliness_n of_o christ_n perfection_n and_o life_n form_v and_o bring_v forth_o in_o they_o as_o the_o inheritance_n incoruptible_fw-fr and_o undefiled_a that_o fade_v not_o away_o
so_o ignorant_a of_o and_o such_o enemy_n to_o as_o most_o profane_o to_o call_v it_o a_o fiction_n and_o make_v little_a less_o of_o it_o then_o blasphemy_n we_o say_v that_o the_o flesh_n or_o natural_a man_n in_o the_o saint_n whether_o consider_v in_o the_o work_n of_o his_o moral_a nature_n or_o of_o his_o renew_v enlighten_v nature_n under_o the_o first_o covenant_n be_v crucify_v and_o render_v a_o copartner_n with_o christ_n in_o his_o dead_a body_n whereby_o the_o power_n and_o faculty_n of_o the_o mind_n in_o the_o natural_a man_n be_v neither_o annihilate_v nor_o deprive_v of_o their_o lawful_a use_n as_o lawful_a refer_v to_o the_o obedience_n of_o faith_n and_o the_o rule_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o only_o have_v death_n pass_v upon_o they_o or_o a_o disability_n and_o privation_n as_o to_o all_o unlawful_a use_n of_o they_o or_o possibility_n of_o act_v in_o rebellion_n resistance_n or_o contradiction_n to_o the_o law_n of_o the_o heavenly_a nature_n and_o mind_n set_v up_o by_o faith_n in_o this_o crucify_a posture_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o broken-spiritednesse_a into_o which_o the_o power_n and_o faculty_n of_o the_o natural_a mind_n be_v bring_v by_o faith_n the_o prophet_n isa_n 54._o 1._o call_v out_o to_o the_o saint_n to_o sing_v as_o intimate_v that_o though_o the_o natural_a man_n be_v hereby_o disenable_v to_o bear_v or_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n to_o its_o first_o husband_n christ_n himself_o as_o make_v under_o the_o law_n and_o head_n of_o natural_a perfection_n single_a yet_o it_o ought_v nevertheless_o to_o break_v forth_o into_o sing_v in_o regard_n that_o by_o she_o be_v become_v dead_a to_o the_o law_n she_o be_v marry_v to_o another_o even_o to_o he_o that_o be_v raise_v from_o the_o dead_a to_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n in_o newness_n of_o spirit_n and_o life_n and_o that_o this_o its_o barrenness_n be_v no_o just_a cause_n of_o reproach_n to_o it_o see_v it_o come_v to_o be_v lawful_o disengage_v from_o all_o rise_v from_o the_o dead_a to_o marry_v and_o espouse_v the_o soul_n that_o he_o have_v thus_o grieve_v by_o his_o withdraw_n for_o say_v he_o the_o lord_n have_v call_v thou_o as_o a_o woman_n forsake_v and_o grieve_v in_o spirit_n and_o a_o wife_n of_o youth_n when_o thou_o be_v refuse_v by_o thy_o god_n for_o a_o small_a moment_n have_v i_o forsake_v thou_o but_o with_o everlasting_a mercy_n will_v i_o gather_v thou_o second_o the_o saint_n conformity_n unto_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n consist_v in_o the_o desolate_a forsake_a barren_a state_n wherein_o the_o flesh_n and_o natural_a man_n be_v leave_v by_o christ_n as_o in_o a_o dry_a and_o barren_a wilderness_n expose_v to_o all_o temptation_n and_o trial_n from_o god_n angel_n and_o man_n within_z and_o without_o ready_a to_o sink_v and_o fail_v in_o spirit_n every_o moment_n partly_o under_o the_o appearance_n of_o god_n displeasure_n who_o withdraw_v and_o forsake_v the_o soul_n understand_v not_o any_o set_v before_o he_o endure_v the_o cross_n and_o despise_v the_o shame_n patient_o suffer_v the_o bruise_n of_o his_o heel_n according_a as_o he_o have_v receive_v commandment_n from_o the_o father_n in_o this_o posture_n as_o a_o widow_n indeed_o the_o poor_a broken-spirited_n saint_n remain_v mourning_n and_o weep_v leave_v for_o a_o season_n as_o a_o orphan_n by_o christ_n bring_v into_o that_o condition_n which_o christ_n foretell_v unto_o his_o disciple_n who_o at_o the_o present_a he_o acknowledge_v child_n of_o the_o bride-chamber_n while_o they_o have_v no_o high_a knowledge_n of_o he_o then_o in_o his_o fleshly_a glory_n and_o perfection_n of_o who_o therefore_o he_o say_v as_o long_o as_o the_o bridegroom_n be_v with_o they_o they_o can_v not_o fast_o but_o the_o day_n will_v come_v when_o the_o bridegroom_n shall_v be_v take_v away_o from_o they_o than_o they_o shall_v fast_v intimate_v thereby_o the_o day_n of_o fast_v and_o mourn_v and_o be_v clad_v in_o sackcloth_n which_o the_o true_a saint_n &_o witness_n of_o christ_n be_v to_o be_v exercise_v with_o during_o the_o time_n of_o the_o trial_n of_o their_o faith_n upon_o the_o bridegroom_n be_v take_v from_o they_o and_o change_v that_o live_v fruitful_a frame_n of_o spirit_n which_o they_o be_v feed_v and_o nourish_v up_o in_o by_o he_o as_o they_o be_v his_o marry_a wife_n under_o the_o law_n into_o a_o fast_a break_a mournful_a desolate_a state_n of_o widowhood_n which_o they_o be_v bring_v into_o as_o they_o be_v make_v one_o with_o christ_n in_o his_o dead_a crucify_a body_n and_o be_v plant_v with_o he_o into_o the_o similitude_n of_o his_o death_n christ_n then_o after_o he_o have_v become_v a_o bridegroom_n and_o marry_a husband_n unto_o true_a believer_n in_o and_o by_o his_o first_o appearance_n shine_v forth_o upon_o they_o in_o the_o life_n and_o glory_n of_o his_o natural_a and_o fleshly_a perfection_n wherein_o he_o have_v nourish_v they_o up_o and_o make_v they_o fruitful_a child_n of_o that_o his_o bride-chamber_n be_v please_v and_o have_v power_n to_o take_v himself_o away_o from_o they_o and_o continue_v no_o long_o with_o they_o as_o a_o bridegroom_n under_o the_o first_o covenant_n or_o in_o the_o ministry_n of_o his_o first_o appearance_n but_o whole_o dissolve_v that_o marriage-band_n between_o they_o as_o refuse_v any_o long_a to_o come_v forth_o in_o the_o exercise_n of_o life_n towards_o they_o upon_o the_o single_a root_n of_o his_o natural_a perfection_n in_o order_n upon_o the_o trial_n of_o their_o faith_n and_o their_o dutiful_a keep_v the_o word_n of_o his_o patience_n during_o the_o time_n of_o this_o his_o separation_n from_o they_o to_o return_v again_o after_o a_o little_a moment_n and_o with_o everlasting_a mercy_n to_o embrace_v they_o and_o be_v marry_v unto_o they_o in_o the_o light_n and_o life_n of_o his_o second_o appearance_n not_o only_o supply_v to_o they_o again_o that_o wherein_o he_o be_v withdraw_v from_o they_o but_o add_v over_o and_o above_o a_o full_a and_o more_o abundant_a communication_n of_o life_n and_o glory_n which_o until_o this_o death_n or_o withdraw_n of_o his_o be_v perfect_v in_o they_o they_o be_v not_o capable_a subject_n perfect_o to_o receive_v and_o inherit_v but_o according_a to_o the_o step_n and_o degree_n of_o this_o death_n do_v the_o approa_o hand_n increase_n of_o this_o high_a life_n let_v itself_o in_o upon_o they_o and_o fill_v they_o this_o separation_n and_o withdraw_n of_o christ_n as_o a_o bridegroom_n be_v the_o more_o bitter_a and_o grievous_a because_o
