with_o eternal_a torment_n &_o death_n but_o to_o destroy_v also_o and_o consume_v and_o as_o it_o be_v to_o chastise_v the_o creature_n whereof_o they_o do_v serve_v &_o help_v themselves_o towards_o their_o sin_n therefore_o be_v it_o that_o resolve_v in_o the_o universal_a judgement_n to_o chastise_v the_o wickedness_n of_o all_o man_n in_o a_o most_o complete_a manner_n he_o will_v not_o content_v himself_o to_o deliver_v over_o sinner_n themselves_o to_o those_o eternal_a ardour_n of_o fire_n &_o those_o other_o immense_a pain_n of_o hell_n but_o to_o the_o creature_n also_o that_o the_o sun_n the_o moon_n &_o star_n which_o do_v illuminate_v sinner_n while_o they_o be_v commit_v their_o sin_n shall_v be_v deprive_v by_o he_o for_o a_o while_n of_o all_o the_o light_n &_o beauty_n which_o they_o have_v &_o he_o shall_v convert_v it_o into_o thick_a darkness_n and_o as_o for_o the_o sea_n &_o the_o earth_n &_o air_n which_o give_v food_n to_o sinner_n &_o do_v maintain_v they_o while_o they_o be_v offend_v god_n he_o will_v make_v they_o as_o it_o be_v fear_n and_o tremble_v &_o will_v deprive_v they_o for_o a_o time_n of_o the_o natural_a quality_n and_o disposition_n they_o have_v and_o will_v consume_v and_o kill_v all_o those_o live_a creature_n and_o plant_n which_o be_v the_o food_n of_o sinner_n and_o will_v destroy_v all_o those_o building_n which_o be_v the_o habitation_n of_o wicked_a man_n and_o thus_o through_o the_o mutation_n &_o demonstration_n &_o desolation_n which_o in_o the_o judgement_n god_n will_v show_v in_o all_o the_o creature_n which_o serve_v sinner_n he_o do_v teach_v and_o testify_v the_o infinite_a hatred_n which_o he_o have_v against_o sin_n and_o he_o do_v induce_v &_o persuade_v we_o that_o now_o through_o the_o knowledge_n of_o this_o truth_n we_o may_v be_v draw_v to_o abhor_v &_o detest_v they_o and_o that_o with_o a_o penitential_a &_o holy_a life_n we_o may_v cleanse_v our_o soul_n as_o well_o as_o from_o hence_o how_o diligent_a and_o constant_a it_o be_v fit_a for_o you_o to_o be_v in_o the_o lead_n of_o a_o good_a life_n and_o how_o holy_o and_o pure_o you_o be_v to_o converse_v in_o this_o world_n and_o how_o vigilant_a and_o careful_a it_o will_v become_v you_o to_o be_v in_o perform_v the_o work_n of_o piety_n towards_o god_n and_o of_o mercy_n towards_o your_o neighbour_n expect_v with_o a_o lively_a faith_n that_o day_n of_o our_o lord_n and_o approach_v and_o draw_v near_o to_o he_o with_o speed_n not_o with_o pace_n of_o the_o body_n but_o with_o the_o desire_n &_o affection_n of_o the_o soul_n desire_v and_o love_v this_o day_n and_o prepare_v to_o see_v yourselves_o at_o that_o time_n accompany_v with_o purity_n of_o life_n and_o with_o the_o exercise_n of_o virtue_n chap._n v._o how_o christ_n our_o lord_n discover_v the_o hate_n which_o he_o carry_v towards_o sin_n by_o the_o so_o particular_a account_n which_o he_o take_v of_o they_o all_o another_z mystery_n of_o this_o divine_a judgement_n discover_v the_o mighty_a demonstration_n and_o detestation_n which_o god_n do_v express_v against_o the_o fault_n whereby_o he_o be_v offend_v be_v the_o so_o particular_a account_n which_o he_o will_v take_v of_o we_o &_o which_o we_o all_o must_v give_v of_o all_o the_o faculty_n or_o power_n &_o all_o the_o sense_n both_o of_o our_o body_n and_o soul_n &_o of_o all_o the_o creature_n which_o we_o have_v use_v and_o you_o and_o if_o you_o believe_v this_o point_n of_o faith_n to_o be_v true_a i_o shall_v not_o need_v to_o wish_v you_o to_o look_v well_o about_o you_o of_o all_o the_o work_n which_o we_o have_v perform_v all_o the_o word_n which_o we_o have_v speak_v and_o all_o the_o thought_n which_o we_o have_v conceive_v how_o little_a soever_o they_o fall_v out_o to_o have_v be_v without_o leave_v out_o so_o much_o as_o any_o one_o idle_a word_n or_o any_o one_o idle_a thought_n we_o shall_v give_v account_n of_o how_o we_o employ_v our_o understanding_n if_o we_o do_v set_v it_o on_o work_n upon_o the_o inquiry_n and_o search_n of_o god_n and_o his_o truth_n and_o in_o contemplate_v on_o he_o &_o his_o holy_a commandment_n and_o the_o work_n of_o
all_o thing_n they_o dispose_v themselves_o to_o consider_v the_o divine_a judgement_n so_o to_o know_v the_o better_a and_o as_o it_o be_v to_o feel_v the_o greivousnes_n of_o sin_n and_o the_o punishment_n that_o fall_v upon_o it_o and_o the_o much_o that_o god_n abhor_v it_o &_o so_o to_o procure_v a_o sorrow_n and_o hatred_n of_o sin_n as_o be_v a_o offence_n of_o god_n and_o to_o fear_v it_o much_o and_o to_o fly_v from_o it_o with_o great_a care_n as_o be_v contrary_a to_o his_o divine_a will_n and_o so_o exercyse_v this_o chaste_a fear_n which_o be_v a_o effect_n &_o fruit_n of_o sun_n the_o moon_n &_o star_n the_o swell_a up_o of_o the_o sea_n the_o open_n of_o the_o earth_n withal_o the_o rest_n which_o be_v to_o strike_v such_o excessive_a horror_n into_o the_o wicked_a and_o will_v cause_v in_o they_o such_o a_o extreme_a affliction_n and_o dismay_n so_o far_o as_o that_o they_o shall_v go_v like_o person_n even_o distract_v and_o mad_a with_o grief_n &_o shall_v even_o be_v dry_v up_o and_o wither_v through_o the_o deadly_a pain_n and_o sorrow_n which_o they_o shall_v receive_v as_o our_o lord_n himself_o declare_v say_v 21._o luc._n 21._o man_n shall_v wither_v with_o the_o fear_n they_o will_v be_v in_a of_o those_o misery_n which_o they_o expect_v and_o of_o which_o those_o sign_n be_v the_o forerunner_n that_o these_o very_a sign_n i_o say_v
