see_v how_o apt_o the_o spirit_n compare_v the_o estate_n of_o a_o man_n in_o sin_n to_o sleep_v this_o be_v the_o first_o thing_n in_o the_o meaning_n of_o the_o word_n now_o the_o second_o thing_n be_v what_o be_v mean_v by_o wake_v or_o arise_v wake_v out_o of_o sleep_n to_o wake_v or_o to_o rise_v out_o of_o sleep_n be_v for_o a_o man_n to_o do_v in_o the_o matter_n of_o christianity_n as_o a_o man_n that_o awake_v out_o of_o sleep_n and_o for_o a_o man_n that_o wake_v out_o of_o sleep_n there_o be_v three_o thing_n he_o do_v and_o so_o out_o of_o the_o sleep_n of_o sin_n first_o there_o must_v be_v a_o open_n of_o the_o eye_n and_o a_o behold_v of_o light_n the_o light_n and_o this_o be_v the_o first_o thing_n in_o awake_v out_o of_o the_o sleep_n of_o sin_n and_o security_n a_o man_n must_v labour_v to_o open_v his_o eye_n to_o behold_v the_o light_n of_o god_n word_n and_o that_o shine_a grace_n that_o the_o lord_n propound_v to_o he_o in_o the_o scripture_n he_o must_v open_v his_o eye_n to_o behold_v the_o light_n and_o that_o will_v discover_v such_o object_n as_o will_v keep_v he_o awake_v therefore_o man_n sleep_v so_o much_o in_o the_o night_n because_o they_o be_v in_o the_o dark_a and_o not_o in_o the_o light_n they_o see_v object_n in_o the_o day_n time_n that_o keep_v they_o awake_a so_o for_o this_o sleep_n of_o sin_n if_o we_o will_v keep_v awake_a let_v we_o open_v our_o eye_n to_o behold_v the_o light_n of_o grace_n and_o in_o the_o light_n of_o the_o scripture_n we_o shall_v see_v object_n that_o will_v help_v to_o keep_v we_o wake_v we_o shall_v see_v god_n displeasure_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n we_o shall_v see_v those_o thing_n that_o eye_n can_v see_v nor_o ear_n hear_v nor_o have_v enter_v into_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n we_o shall_v see_v they_o in_o their_o beginning_n and_o degree_n though_o the_o full_a degree_n can_v enter_v into_o the_o heart_n to_o conceive_v and_o this_o will_v help_v to_o keep_v we_o wake_v then_o in_o the_o next_o place_n when_o a_o man_n have_v open_v his_o eye_n to_o see_v sense_n the_o light_n then_o there_o must_v be_v a_o rouse_a of_o the_o sense_n this_o awake_v a_o man_n when_o his_o sense_n that_o be_v bind_v up_o by_o sleep_n be_v loose_v that_o now_o he_o be_v able_a to_o see_v and_o to_o move_v and_o to_o talk_v etc._n etc._n what_o unbind_v the_o spiritual_a sense_n of_o a_o man_n in_o this_o sleep_n of_o sin_n only_o faith_n in_o the_o son_n of_o god_n that_o open_v the_o eye_n of_o they_o that_o be_v dead_a in_o sin_n it_o restore_v new_a sense_n and_o life_n that_o they_o be_v able_a to_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n of_o god_n and_o to_o move_v in_o the_o action_n of_o godliness_n and_o christianity_n therefore_o the_o second_o thing_n that_o a_o man_n must_v do_v to_o awake_v himself_o out_o of_o sleep_n be_v to_o get_v faith_n in_o his_o soul_n that_o he_o may_v suck_v virtue_n from_o christ_n and_o to_o get_v his_o sense_n loose_v that_o he_o may_v see_v and_o taste_v and_o feel_v the_o goodness_n of_o god_n which_o without_o christ_n he_o can_v attain_v three_o and_o last_o a_o man_n must_v get_v out_o of_o his_o bed_n to_o awake_v bed_n he_o out_o of_o sleep_n when_o his_o eye_n be_v open_a and_o his_o sense_n loose_v leap_v out_o of_o the_o bed_n that_o be_v by_o repentance_n this_o be_v to_o cease_v to_o do_v evil_a therefore_o when_o the_o
