not_o concern_v to_o prevent_v it_o comply_v but_o with_o half_a his_o duty_n and_o become_v himself_o guilty_a of_o the_o harm_n into_o which_o the_o sick_a man_n fall_v again_o and_o even_o of_o death_n itself_o if_o it_o befall_v he_o this_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o the_o confessor_n be_v oblige_v not_o only_o to_o advertise_v the_o penitent_n not_o to_o return_v to_o his_o sin_n but_o also_o to_o show_v he_o the_o mean_n how_o to_o avoid_v they_o and_o to_o engage_v he_o to_o put_v they_o in_o execution_n these_o mean_n be_v penance_n prayer_n satisfactory_a work_n as_o fast_v alms-deed_n mortification_n and_o other_o which_o we_o have_v handle_v above_o in_o the_o four_o part_n and_o whereof_o we_o shall_v yet_o speak_v in_o the_o follow_a chapter_n to_o which_o may_v be_v add_v certain_a conditional_a penance_n that_o be_v some_o painful_a thing_n to_o be_v perform_v or_o suffer_v by_o the_o penitent_a in_o case_n he_o return_v again_o unto_o his_o sin_n and_o as_o serve_v frequent_o as_o a_o bridle_n to_o withhold_v the_o penitent_n when_o they_o be_v tempt_v to_o offend_v god._n and_o last_o the_o defer_v of_o absolution_n when_o the_o penitent_a do_v not_o at_o all_o correct_v himself_o be_v frequent_o a_o very_a good_a remedy_n to_o make_v he_o amend_v his_o life_n this_o make_v the_o penitent_a think_v serious_o of_o amendment_n and_o labour_n to_o reform_v his_o vice_n which_o make_v he_o unworthy_a of_o so_o great_a a_o good_a and_o punctual_o to_o comply_v with_o all_o that_o he_o the_o confessor_n shall_v ordain_v he_o to_o the_o end_n he_o may_v be_v worthy_a this_o mean_n ought_v to_o be_v apply_v with_o much_o prudence_n and_o especial_o it_o behove_v the_o confessor_n to_o make_v a_o vast_a distinction_n between_o penitent_n who_o instruct_v in_o three_o thing_n of_o which_o two_o be_v general_a the_o three_o be_v particular_a to_o this_o sacrament_n first_o he_o must_v be_v instruct_v in_o faith_n in_o general_n without_o which_o it_o be_v impossible_a to_o attain_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o this_o great_a mystery_n of_o the_o eucharist_n he_o must_v understand_v perfect_o well_o what_o god_n have_v reveal_v concern_v this_o virtue_n which_o be_v the_o basis_n and_o groundwork_n of_o salvation_n as_o saint_n paul_n say_v heb._n 11.1_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o thing_n to_o be_v hope_v for_o second_o
