which_o altogether_o overthrow_v the_o moderate_a sense_n of_o forbes_n likewise_o to_o 439._o forbes_n ubi_fw-la supra_fw-la p._n 439._o say_v no_o more_o for_o as_o for_o that_o other_o evasion_n christ_n be_v to_o suppose_v contradiction_n but_o this_o belong_v to_o another_o place_n let_v we_o now_o touch_v the_o three_o exception_n i_o make_v against_o the_o distinction_n of_o material_a and_o formal_a idolatry_n take_v from_o the_o novelty_n of_o it_o and_o singularity_n as_o never_o hear_v of_o before_o late_a day_n when_o extremity_n put_v man_n wit_n to_o study_v for_o new_a form_n of_o speech_n to_o dress_v up_o the_o new_a body_n of_o divinity_n frame_v to_o themselves_o why_o do_v not_o the_o heathen_a come_v off_o so_o for_o sure_o they_o may_v why_o do_v not_o this_o without_o any_o notice_n take_v of_o material_a and_o formal_a worship_n content_v themselves_o with_o the_o general_a distinction_n of_o ignorance_n of_o the_o law_n and_o ignorance_n of_o the_o fact_n or_o wilful_a ignorance_n and_o unwilling_a or_o vincible_a and_o invincible_a sure_o this_o imply_v somewhat_o singular_a in_o this_o case_n which_o they_o either_o be_v ashamed_a to_o schism_n two_o sort_n of_o adultery_n two_o sort_n of_o drunkenness_n and_o murder_n material_a and_o formal_a as_o of_o idolatry_n and_o yet_o we_o hear_v little_a or_o no_o mention_n of_o this_o distinction_n but_o only_o as_o it_o be_v apply_v to_o idolatry_n which_o beside_o what_o be_v abovesaid_a render_v it_o more_o suspect_v and_o the_o coiner_n and_o user_n of_o it_o four_o and_o last_o the_o dangerousness_n of_o this_o distinction_n and_o apparent_a damage_n it_o do_v to_o christian_a religion_n declare_v it_o to_o be_v wicked_a and_o intolerable_a while_o it_o both_o open_v a_o way_n to_o all_o carelessness_n in_o worship_v we_o know_v not_o how_o nor_o what_o contrary_a to_o our_o faith_n and_o then_o when_o we_o may_v receive_v competent_a information_n of_o our_o error_n and_o shall_v repent_v it_o lull_v we_o asleep_a
