covenant_n of_o grace_n the_o principal_a cause_n of_o man_n error_n and_o mistake_n in_o this_o controversy_n be_v because_o they_o examine_v the_o new_a man_n and_o his_o work_n by_o the_o law_n of_o work_n and_o not_o by_o the_o law_n of_o sanctification_n holiness_n and_o love_n in_o the_o new_a covenant_n of_o grace_n if_o we_o do_v examine_v his_o work_n by_o the_o law_n of_o holiness_n which_o be_v in_o the_o new_a covenant_n we_o shall_v plain_o perceive_v that_o it_o be_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n that_o his_o work_n be_v free_o wrought_v in_o he_o and_o by_o this_o mean_v all_o legal_a glory_v and_o carnal_a boast_n be_v take_v away_o according_a to_o that_o of_o the_o apostle_n 1_o cor._n 4.7_o who_o make_v thou_o to_o differ_v from_o another_o and_o what_o have_v thou_o that_o thou_o do_v not_o receive_v now_o if_o thou_o do_v receive_v it_o why_o do_v thou_o glory_n as_o if_o thou_o have_v not_o receive_v it_o by_o which_o you_o may_v plain_o see_v that_o reward_n to_o a_o spiritual_a man_n as_o a_o debt_n due_a unto_o he_o for_o his_o merit_n and_o deserve_n yet_o we_o affirm_v that_o god_n give_v reward_n to_o a_o spiritual_a man_n who_o do_v good_a work_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v say_v that_o christ_n come_v with_o his_o reward_n with_o he_o to_o give_v every_o man_n as_o his_o work_n shall_v be_v revel_v 22.12_o and_o mose_n esteem_v the_o reproach_n of_o christ_n great_a riches_n than_o the_o treasure_n of_o egypt_n for_o he_o have_v respect_n unto_o the_o recompense_n of_o reward_n hebr._n 11.26_o and_o this_o reward_n may_v be_v be_v a_o answer_n to_o the_o second_o part_n of_o this_o argument_n arg._n 10._o if_o the_o work_n of_o the_o regenerate_a be_v not_o evil_a because_o the_o holy_a ghost_n work_v they_o then_o the_o work_n of_o the_o unregenerate_a as_o his_o love_n and_o obedience_n to_o his_o parent_n be_v not_o evil_a answ_n there_o be_v a_o general_a concurrence_n of_o god_n as_o the_o prime_a cause_n in_o the_o do_n of_o some_o thing_n by_o wicked_a man_n and_o thus_o god_n may_v concur_v to_o the_o do_v of_o a_o thing_n &_o yet_o the_o thing_n as_o do_v by_o the_o wicked_a man_n may_v be_v evil_a because_o not_o do_v in_o faith_n and_o it_o be_v no_o solid_a argument_n to_o conclude_v from_o hence_o god_n do_v concur_v in_o the_o do_n of_o this_o thing_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o sin_n or_o sinful_a 2_o there_o be_v a_o special_a concurrence_n of_o god_n grace_n and_o spirit_n in_o the_o do_n of_o a_o thing_n as_o he_o be_v the_o principal_a agent_n in_o work_v good_a spiritual_o in_o the_o saint_n who_o be_v under_o a_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o when_o god_n do_v concur_v with_o the_o the_o special_a &_o powerful_a assistance_n of_o his_o grace_n for_o the_o effect_n of_o a_o thing_n in_o a_o saint_n it_o be_v safe_a to_o draw_v a_o conclusion_n to_o prove_v the_o goodness_n of_o the_o thing_n from_o the_o consider_v of_o the_o principal_a agent_n which_o do_v concur_v in_o the_o do_n of_o the_o thing_n as_o john_n do_v in_o these_o word_n maintain_v that_o a_o spiritual_a man_n consider_v as_o a_o spiritual_a man_n and_o act_v as_o a_o spiritual_a man_n can_v sin_v because_o his_o seed_n remain_v in_o he_o by_o which_o distinction_n you_o may_v see_v the_o weakness_n of_o your_o argument_n with_o which_o you_o will_v prove_v the_o unsoundnesse_n of_o my_o argue_v from_o god_n consider_v as_o the_o principal_a agent_n to_o the_o effect_n and_o the_o disparity_n of_o god_n work_v in_o the_o regenerate_a and_o unregenerate_a when_o god_n do_v work_v in_o a_o spiritual_a man_n that_o which_o be_v spiritual_a it_o be_v not_o only_o good_a substantial_o and_o material_o but_o formal_o and_o circumstantial_o by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n as_o i_o have_v prove_v at_o large_a and_o therefore_o this_o argument_n be_v not_o strong_a enough_o to_o overthrow_v what_o have_v be_v deliver_v arg._n 11._o either_o the_o holy_a ghost_n work_v the_o work_n of_o
