end_n be_v not_o and_o then_o affirmative_o as_o far_o as_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n and_o natural_a reason_n will_v dictate_v for_o in_o this_o discourse_n at_o present_a i_o go_v no_o far_o end_n of_o any_o existence_n be_v by_o observe_v the_o specifical_a and_o peculiar_a existence_n of_o faculty_n of_o that_o be_v for_o we_o have_v reason_n to_o think_v that_o the_o specifical_a and_o peculiar_a end_n thereof_o be_v somewhat_o that_o bear_v a_o specifical_a proportion_n to_o those_o faculty_n and_o excellency_n thus_o we_o reasonable_o conclude_v that_o since_o the_o animal_n nature_n have_v a_o specifical_a and_o peculiar_a excellence_n and_o faculty_n above_o vegetable_n namely_o the_o faculty_n of_o sense_n that_o therefore_o its_o proper_a end_n of_o fruition_n be_v not_o a_o bare_a fruition_n of_o a_o vegetable_a life_n or_o the_o commensurate_a good_a thereof_o but_o a_o good_a that_o be_v superior_a and_o accommodate_v to_o the_o life_n of_o sense_n and_o upon_o the_o same_o account_n we_o may_v conclude_v that_o since_o the_o excellence_n and_o faculty_n of_o the_o humane_a nature_n be_v of_o a_o high_a make_n and_o order_n than_o that_o of_o sense_n namely_o a_o intellectual_a faculty_n therefore_o the_o peculiar_a end_n of_o the_o humane_a nature_n be_v not_o

incomplete_a but_o deficient_a and_o less_o competent_a to_o he_o than_o if_o he_o have_v not_o this_o excellency_n of_o faculty_n which_o be_v specifical_a to_o his_o nature_n and_o therefore_o correction_n of_o their_o delight_n in_o fruition_n of_o sense_n but_o be_v entire_a in_o their_o enjoyment_n again_o it_o be_v a_o great_a perfection_n of_o the_o humane_a nature_n that_o it_o have_v a_o more_o fix_v strong_a and_o compact_a memory_n of_o thing_n past_a than_o the_o brute_n have_v a_o brute_n forget_v his_o fruition_n when_o they_o be_v pass_v have_v not_o the_o sense_n much_o less_o the_o memory_n of_o any_o fault_n or_o folly_n commit_v by_o he_o and_o therefore_o his_o present_a fruition_n be_v not_o sour_v with_o the_o remembrance_n of_o those_o better_a season_n of_o
