or_o denier_n of_o jesus_n christ_n in_o time_n of_o persecution_n to_o this_o agree_v the_o forecited_a doctor_n crisp_n in_o his_o sermon_n of_o christ_n be_v the_o way_n page_z 36._o give_v i_o this_o may_v be_v add_v some_o doctrine_n lay_v down_o in_o a_o treatise_n of_o justification_n publish_v by_o mr._n eyre_n with_o doctor_n owen_n commendatory_a epistle_n see_v chap._n 12._o he_o lay_v down_o this_o doctrine_n that_o in_o the_o new_a covenant_n there_o be_v no_o condition_n require_v to_o entitle_v we_o to_o the_o blessing_n of_o it_o and_o thence_o he_o draw_v this_o corrollary_n that_o faith_n be_v not_o a_o condition_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n he_o further_o say_v that_o the_o elect_a corinthian_n that_o be_v idolater_n fornicator_n thief_n covetous_a drunkard_n reviler_n and_o extortioner_n have_v no_o more_o right_a to_o salvation_n after_o their_o believe_v than_o they_o have_v before_o then_o it_o seem_v they_o have_v a_o right_a to_o heaven_n if_o they_o have_v die_v in_o this_o condition_n and_o never_o believe_v for_o faith_n he_o say_v be_v no_o condition_n of_o the_o covenant_n that_o be_v the_o doctrine_n and_o that_o man_n in_o the_o height_n of_o their_o impiety_n and_o excess_n of_o wickedness_n have_v if_o elect_v as_o much_o right_n to_o heaven_n then_o as_o when_o convert_v that_o be_v the_o application_n so_o that_o if_o they_o can_v set_v foot_n upon_o christ_n by_o election_n they_o may_v be_v save_v though_o they_o die_v unbeliever_n for_o faith_n he_o say_v be_v no_o condition_n of_o it_o somewhat_o to_o this_o purpose_n mr._n edward_n bagshaw_n dogmatize_v in_o his_o book_n entitle_v the_o doctrine_n of_o free_a grace_n in_o pardon_v sin_n without_o condition_n page_n 25._o he_o explain_v himself_o what_o the_o sense_n for_o say_v he_o the_o elect_a corinthian_n have_v no_o more_o right_a to_o heaven_n after_o their_o believe_v than_o they_o have_v while_o they_o be_v unbeliever_n whoremonger_n and_o adulterer_n thus_o they_o make_v even_o our_o faith_n of_o none_o effect_n upon_o which_o word_n the_o learned_a and_o sober_a mr._n woodbridge_n in_o his_o answer_n to_o mr._n eyre_n say_v he_o
