it_o to_o they_o and_o i_o also_o believe_v that_o as_o christ_n can_v true_o say_v i_o and_o my_o father_n be_v one_o so_o also_o may_v some_o of_o they_o say_v proper_o and_o true_o i_o and_o my_o father_n be_v one_o for_o some_o man_n be_v as_o proper_o one_o with_o the_o devil_n as_o christ_n be_v with_o god_n and_o be_v as_o proper_o guide_v and_o act_v by_o he_o and_o therefore_o be_v not_o alone_o in_o that_o respect_n but_o be_v two_o person_n unite_v so_o together_o as_o that_o they_o be_v proper_o one_o in_o one_o sense_n and_o proper_o two_o in_o another_o and_o therefore_o the_o word_n you_o nor_o the_o word_n thee_o or_o thou_o be_v improper_a language_n to_o be_v speak_v to_o any_o that_o be_v so_o spirit_v so_o that_o the_o propriety_n of_o our_o language_n be_v clear_v if_o they_o can_v find_v it_o forbid_v in_o scripture_n we_o have_v not_o only_o a_o dispensation_n to_o use_v it_o but_o do_v account_v it_o our_o duty_n in_o regard_n it_o be_v the_o custom_n of_o our_o country_n lest_o we_o shall_v offend_v for_o we_o must_v give_v no_o offence_n neither_o to_o jew_n nor_o gentile_a neither_o to_o the_o church_n of_o god_n and_o it_o be_v such_o gross_a incivility_n and_o such_o a_o angry_a kind_n of_o language_n that_o any_o stranger_n will_v believe_v that_o we_o be_v ready_a to_o fight_v they_o and_o so_o in_o stead_n of_o provoke_v one_o another_o unto_o love_n and_o to_o good_a work_n we_o be_v more_o likely_a to_o provoke_v they_o unto_o hatred_n and_o wrath_n and_o to_o do_v we_o some_o injury_n in_o regard_n we_o give_v they_o such_o disgraceful_a language_n and_o by_o that_o mean_n in_o stead_n of_o as_o much_o as_o in_o we_o lie_v to_o have_v peace_n with_o all_o man_n we_o shall_v bring_v it_o about_o to_o have_v peace_n with_o no_o man_n and_o that_o for_o no_o cause_n but_o to_o please_v the_o adversary_n the_o accuser_n of_o the_o brethren_n and_o his_o complice_n the_o quaker_n who_o he_o enslave_v and_o befool_v in_o these_o and_o such_o like_a thing_n 6._o and_o again_o their_o spirit_n teach_v they_o not_o to_o put_v off_o their_o hat_n nor_o bow_v their_o body_n in_o reverence_n or_o respect_n to_o any_o man_n at_o all_o in_o what_o place_n or_o relation_n soever_o he_o be_v nor_o in_o way_n of_o courtesy_n when_o they_o meet_v with_o friend_n neither_o to_o drink_v one_o to_o another_o in_o a_o modest_a and_o moderate_a way_n for_o this_o they_o call_v worship_v of_o man_n and_o drink_v one_o to_o another_o they_o say_v be_v to_o provoke_v they_o to_o excess_n etc._n etc._n the_o which_o we_o deny_v for_o they_o be_v not_o always_o use_v for_o such_o end_n but_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n teach_v we_o so_o clear_o to_o the_o contrary_a that_o we_o need_v not_o to_o plead_v the_o custom_n of_o the_o country_n to_o excuse_v we_o in_o these_o for_o they_o be_v all_o include_v under_o this_o command_n of_o the_o apostle_n to_o wit_n be_v you_o courteous_a and_o tender-hearted_a towards_o all_o man_n and_o it_o be_v easy_a to_o prove_v that_o bow_n of_o the_o body_n be_v the_o customary_a reverence_n in_o old_a time_n but_o i_o need_v not_o i_o shall_v rather_o ask_v they_o what_o courtesy_n at_o all_o they_o show_v to_o any_o man_n upon_o any_o occasion_n and_o that_o take_v off_o the_o hat_n be_v a_o proper_a reverend_a duty_n to_o those_o who_o we_o honour_n and_o do_v and_o aught_o to_o reverence_n be_v easy_a to_o prove_v and_o we_o be_v command_v to_o honour_v all_o man_n so_o that_o if_o we_o know_v they_o to_o be_v duty_n either_o of_o love_n or_o honour_n we_o be_v bind_v to_o use_v they_o nay_o if_o they_o be_v proper_a expression_n of_o love_n or_o honour_n and_o that_o we_o have_v any_o spirit_n of_o love_n or_o honour_n in_o we_o it_o will_v natural_o engage_v we_o to_o use_v such_o expression_n one_o to_o another_o if_o we_o be_v not_o so_o command_v but_o there_o be_v doubtless_o some_o man_n in_o these_o last_o day_n be_v without_o natural_a affection_n accor_v as_o be_v prophesy_v 2_o tim_n 3.3_o and_o those_o like_a bruit_n beast_n make_v to_o be_v take_v and_o to_o be_v destroy_v 2_o pet_n 2.12_o from_o such_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v expect_v no_o more_o than_o love_n for_o they_o shall_v but_o dissemble_v if_o they_o shall_v make_v a_o show_n of_o what_o they_o have_v not_o and_o it_o be_v better_a to_o be_v without_o then_o to_o be_v deceive_v by_o their_o outward_a show_n and_o therefore_o by_o my_o consent_n they_o shall_v never_o be_v persuade_v to_o use_v they_o at_o all_o till_o their_o cordial_a love_n and_o respect_n engage_v they_o sincere_o to_o it_o which_o can_v never_o be_v till_o they_o love_v we_o better_o and_o we_o may_v not_o expect_v any_o love_n from_o they_o while_o they_o be_v act_v and_o guide_v by_o our_o old_a adversary_n the_o enemy_n of_o mankind_n who_o hate_v any_o thing_n in_o we_o that_o in_o the_o least_o resemble_v the_o image_n of_o god_n and_o wherefore_o be_v it_o require_v that_o we_o shall_v honour_v all_o man_n but_o because_o there_o be_v at_o least_o some_o remnant_n of_o the_o image_n of_o god_n excistent_n in_o they_o for_o man_n be_v the_o image_n and_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n as_o i_o may_v show_v at_o large_a but_o i_o have_v be_v too_o long_o about_o so_o clear_a a_o point_n yet_o this_o further_a i_o shall_v make_v bold_a to_o assert_v namely_o that_o where_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n dwell_v there_o be_v also_o the_o spirit_n of_o love_n for_o it_o be_v but_o the_o same_o for_o god_n be_v love_n and_o where_o there_o be_v love_n it_o will_v act_v courteous_o and_o tender-hearted_o and_o that_o towards_o all_o man_n and_o do_v but_o mark_v the_o quaker_n how_o many_o of_o those_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n gal_n 5.22_o 23._o you_o can_v find_v in_o they_o
