expositor_n or_o other_o whosoever_o he_o be_v that_o shall_v pretend_v authority_n out_o of_o scripture_n over_o our_o faith_n save_v only_o when_o he_o shall_v make_v it_o clear_a and_o evident_a unto_o we_o that_o his_o opinion_n be_v the_o true_a mean_v of_o the_o scripture_n and_o thus_o yield_v our_o absolute_a assent_n unto_o the_o truth_n explain_v by_o he_o we_o yield_v it_o not_o to_o inducement_n which_o we_o have_v of_o his_o skill_n and_o sincerity_n must_v be_v frame_v according_a to_o the_o rule_n or_o precept_n of_o scripture_n not_o according_a to_o our_o affection_n or_o humour_n we_o may_v not_o think_v he_o most_o to_o be_v believe_v that_o be_v in_o high_a place_n or_o have_v the_o great_a stroke_n in_o other_o affair_n for_o as_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n so_o must_v our_o persuasion_n of_o the_o faithful_a dispenser_n or_o skilful_a seeds-man_n of_o faith_n be_v have_v without_o respect_n of_o person_n 2_o if_o we_o yield_v assent_v or_o obedience_n unto_o any_o expositor_n or_o other_o otherwise_o then_o upon_o these_o condition_n and_o limitation_n then_o as_o we_o say_v before_o while_o we_o yield_v absolute_a obedience_n unto_o his_o doctrine_n that_o persuade_v we_o to_o true_a belief_n because_o we_o perceive_v that_o which_o he_o speak_v to_o be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n we_o do_v not_o yield_v it_o unto_o he_o but_o unto_o god_n word_n deliver_v and_o make_v know_v unto_o we_o by_o he_o so_o here_o again_o by_o the_o same_o reason_n only_o invert_v it_o will_v evident_o follow_v that_o if_o we_o believe_v any_o man_n doctrine_n or_o decision_n to_o be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n because_o he_o speak_v it_o or_o because_o we_o hold_v his_o word_n to_o be_v infallible_a we_o do_v not_o true_o and_o proper_o believe_v the_o word_n of_o god_n suppose_v his_o doctrine_n be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n but_o his_o word_n and_o infallibility_n only_o hence_o again_o it_o follow_v that_o if_o we_o yield_v the_o same_o absolute_a and_o undoubted_a assent_n unto_o his_o authority_n which_o we_o will_v do_v unto_o god_n word_n immediate_o know_v in_o itself_o and_o for_o itself_o or_o rely_v upon_o his_o infallibility_n in_o expound_v as_o apt_a to_o discern_v spiritual_a principle_n from_o falsehood_n or_o carnal_a conjecture_n as_o the_o natural_a man_n be_v to_o discern_v natural_a truth_n from_o error_n of_o the_o same_o kind_n and_o these_o general_a and_o fundamental_a principle_n of_o faith_n engraft_v in_o their_o heart_n serve_v as_o infallible_a rule_n for_o discern_v the_o consonancy_n or_o dissonancie_n of_o such_o particular_n as_o shall_v be_v suggest_v unto_o they_o as_o shall_v god_n will_v hereafter_o be_v declare_v nor_o may_v they_o without_o injury_n to_o god_n spirit_n or_o inward_a grace_n admit_v
