there_o be_v as_o much_o read_v every_o day_n in_o each_o parish-church_n as_o his_o word_n seem_v to_o import_v what_o he_o assert_n be_v so_o ridiculous_a that_o one_o will_v think_v if_o he_o have_v no_o regard_n to_o truth_n yet_o he_o shall_v have_v some_o to_o common_a sense_n in_o his_o accusation_n nay_o i_o must_v add_v that_o i_o look_v upon_o his_o lordship_n charge_n as_o so_o unjust_a that_o if_o we_o take_v the_o scripture_n to_o be_v read_v whenever_o they_o be_v verbatim_o recite_v to_o the_o people_n

of_o god_n worship_n answ_n if_o he_o mean_v that_o the_o dissenter_n do_v not_o suppose_v that_o god_n be_v to_o be_v worship_v with_o our_o body_n as_o well_o as_o spirit_n and_o that_o we_o be_v not_o oblige_v to_o use_v such_o external_a posture_n and_o behaviour_n as_o may_v most_o fit_o express_v our_o inward_a reverence_n of_o god_n and_o subjection_n to_o he_o nothing_o can_v be_v more_o groundless_a than_o to_o affirm_v this_o concern_v '_o they_o but_o if_o his_o lp_n mean_a that_o they_o do_v not_o allow_v bodily_a posture_n of_o devotion_n to_o be_v in_o the_o same_o sense_n a_o for_o they_o be_v not_o a_o distinct_a duty_n from_o prayer_n and_o praise_n etc._n etc._n but_o relate_v to_o the_o manner_n of_o perform_v they_o which_o shall_v be_v fit_a to_o represent_v our_o profound_a veneration_n for_o that_o glorious_a majesty_n who_o we_o adore_v and_o in_o vain_a do_v he_o refer_v we_o to_o what_o he_o have_v say_v p._n 105_o 106._o etc._n etc._n for_o the_o proof_n acknowledge_v the_o rightful_a authority_n of_o god_n over_o we_o and_o renew_v our_o vow_n of_o obedience_n to_o he_o than_o can_v be_v suppose_v in_o any_o external_a posture_n whatsoever_o the_o
