caution_n against_o the_o leaven_n of_o the_o sadducee_n which_o undermine_v the_o principle_n of_o all_o religion_n and_o then_o in_o the_o next_o place_n for_o the_o religion_n of_o the_o pharisee_n that_o by_o what_o be_v say_v in_o the_o description_n of_o their_o leaven_n consist_v of_o so_o many_o incredible_a article_n of_o faith_n ground_v only_o upon_o tradition_n and_o legendary_a story_n and_o of_o such_o innumerable_a trifle_n and_o arbitrary_a rite_n and_o ceremony_n and_o yet_o make_v essential_o necessary_a to_o salvation_n be_v utter_o contrary_a to_o the_o whole_a tenor_n and_o design_n of_o the_o gospel_n as_o may_v be_v make_v appear_v in_o innumerable_a instance_n of_o which_o i_o will_v here_o specify_v only_o these_o five_o particular_n follow_v in_o the_o first_o place_n a_o principal_a design_n of_o our_o saviour_n in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v to_o instruct_v man_n with_o right_a notion_n of_o god_n which_o be_v not_o only_o the_o first_o and_o most_o immediate_a honour_n to_o the_o divine_a majesty_n but_o the_o only_a solid_a foundation_n of_o all_o virtue_n and_o piety_n the_o right_a apprehension_n of_o god_n perfection_n and_o
