be_v not_o clean_o abolish_v that_o the_o church_n be_v continue_v and_o preserve_v that_o many_o may_v be_v make_v hair_n of_o life_n eternal_a that_o discipline_n be_v maintain_v and_o that_o man_n may_v enjoy_v other_o honest_a commodity_n issue_v out_o of_o the_o art_n we_o therefore_o shoot_v wide_a and_o miss_v much_o of_o the_o mâ—â—ke_n we_o aiâ—e_v at_o unless_o we_o hold_v it_o for_o end_n that_o we_o may_v be_v the_o more_o fraught_v with_o humane_a and_o divine_a learning_n but_o rather_o that_o be_v beautify_v and_o adorn_v with_o all_o laudable_a behaviour_n towards_o man_n and_o holiness_n to_o the_o lord_n may_v be_v find_v acceptable_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n and_o man_n and_o it_o be_v a_o truth_n apparent_a in_o the_o church_n that_o all_o the_o exhortation_n unto_o civil_a virtue_n without_o the_o doctrine_n of_o piety_n be_v nought_o else_o but_o a_o estray_n and_o swarâ—ing_v from_o god_n true_a godliness_n perfect_a justice_n and_o assure_a salvation_n
