say_v coster_n a_o popish-writ_a the_o idolat_a doctrine_n of_o transubstantiation_n be_v not_o true_a the_o idolatry_n of_o the_o heathen_n in_o worship_v some_o golden_a or_o silver_n statue_n or_o any_o image_n of_o their_o god_n or_o the_o laplander_n worship_v a_o red_a cloth_n or_o the_o egyptian_n a_o animal_n be_v more_o excusable_a than_o that_o of_o christian_n worship_v a_o bit_n of_o bread_n and_o another_o of_o they_o say_v that_o if_o there_o be_v nothing_o but_o bread_n in_o the_o eucharist_n they_o be_v all_o idolater_n thus_o they_o confess_v that_o it_o be_v the_o supposition_n of_o transubstantiation_n only_o which_o can_v vindicat_fw-la they_o from_o the_o gross_a idolatry_n but_o that_o there_o be_v no_o such_o thing_n to_o be_v suppose_v we_o have_v to_o drink_v of_o it_o as_o both_o the_o council_n of_o constance_n and_o trent_n acknowledge_v in_o their_o act_n which_o prohibit_v the_o use_n of_o the_o cup_n to_o the_o laity_n and_o as_o for_o the_o other_o part_n of_o the_o sacrament_n beside_o that_o their_o wafer_n can_v be_v count_v bread_n they_o do_v not_o use_v the_o rite_n of_o break_v it_o which_o be_v so_o essential_a that_o this_o sacrament_n be_v ordinary_o denominat_fw-la by_o it_o in_o scripture_n indeed_o what_o the_o priest_n take_v to_o himself_o he_o break_v in_o three_o piece_n one_o whereof_o be_v cast_v into_o the_o cup_n another_o be_v leave_v upon_o the_o altar_n until_o the_o end_n of_o the_o service_n and_o the_o three_o he_o put_v in_o his_o own_o mouth_n but_o this_o do_v not_o answer_v to_o that_o break_v which_o our_o lord_n use_v and_o which_o be_v necessary_a to_o hold_v forth_o the_o purport_n of_o the_o sacrament_n that_o this_o action_n may_v be_v agreeable_a to_o our_o lord_n institution_n it_o be_v necessary_a that_o all_o the_o communicant_n eat_v and_o have_v distribute_v to_o they_o one_o break_v bread_n 2_o our_o lord_n ordain_v the_o bread_n in_o this_o sacrament_n to_o be_v only_o a_o symbol_n of_o his_o body_n but_o they_o give_v it_o out_o to_o be_v his_o very_a self_n and_o command_v divine_a adoration_n to_o be_v pay_v thereto_o which_o be_v the_o great_a absurdity_n and_o the_o gross_a idolatry_n imaginable_a as_o we_o have_v former_o make_v out_o 3_o our_o lord_n design_v this_o sacrament_n to_o be_v only_o a_o memorial_n of_o his_o death_n and_o of_o that_o satisfaction_n be_v give_v thereby_o to_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o man_n but_o they_o teach_v and_o command_v under_o pain_n of_o damnation_n to_o be_v believe_v that_o in_o the_o 2._o mass_n there_o be_v a_o real_a propitiatory_a sacrifice_n for_o the_o live_n and_o the_o dead_a because_o according_a to_o they_o jesus_n christ_n be_v daily_o sacrifice_v and_o offer_v therein_o which_o doctrine_n contain_v a_o heap_n of_o absurdity_n and_o make_v their_o mass_n a_o blasphemous_a action_n and_o most_o injurious_a to_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o cross._n for_o hereby_o it_o will_v follow_v that_o christ_n be_v sacrifice_v before_o he_o be_v crucify_a viz._n when_o he_o institute_v this_o sacrament_n that_o his_o death_n be_v no_o sufficient_a atonement_n there_o be_v such_o necessity_n for_o repeat_v it_o so_o frequent_o and_o that_o st._n paul_n err_v gross_o in_o think_v it_o absurd_a that_o he_o shall_v offer_v himself_o often_o in_o say_v he_o be_v but_o once_o offer_v to_o bear_v the_o sin_n of_o many_o and_o in_o prefer_v that_o one_o oblation_n of_o jesus_n christ_n upon_o the_o cross_n to_o all_o the_o legal_a sacrifice_n because_o they_o behove_v to_o be_v offer_v year_n by_o year_n continual_o to_o show_v their_o insufficiency_n whereas_o he_o by_o one_o offering_n have_v perfect_v for_o ever_o they_o that_o be_v
