most_o joyful_a servant_n and_o professor_n of_o christ_n so_o if_o we_o frequent_o read_v the_o word_n and_o meditate_v therein_o though_o therein_o we_o meet_v with_o many_o thing_n we_o understand_v not_o the_o lord_n in_o his_o good_a time_n will_v send_v some_o philip_n that_o shall_v join_v himself_o unto_o we_o some_o godly_a and_o faithful_a pastor_n and_o minister_n that_o shall_v open_v and_o expound_v either_o private_o or_o public_o so_o much_o thereof_o unto_o we_o as_o shall_v beget_v a_o lively_a and_o true_a faith_n in_o we_o and_o shall_v be_v needful_a and_o helpful_a to_o our_o salvation_n but_o here_o exception_n may_v be_v take_v and_o it_o may_v be_v object_v that_o as_o he_o read_v the_o prophecy_n of_o esay_n but_o understand_v it_o not_o and_o such_o thing_n as_o invite_v man_n to_o faith_n and_o exhort_v to_o holiness_n of_o life_n and_o these_o thing_n and_o the_o like_a this_o eunuch_n do_v without_o doubt_n both_o often_o read_v and_o well_o understand_v howsoever_o he_o do_v most_o free_o &_o ingenuous_o confess_v that_o he_o can_v not_o understand_v that_o place_n or_o passage_n of_o the_o prophet_n which_o he_o then_o read_v which_o be_v prophetical_o and_o mystical_o deliver_v concern_v the_o person_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o salvation_n of_o mankind_n by_o his_o death_n and_o passion_n which_o be_v indeed_o a_o mystery_n which_o no_o eye_n but_o the_o eye_n of_o faith_n can_v pierce_v and_o look_v into_o and_o from_o hence_o we_o may_v learn_v this_o point_n of_o christian_a wisdom_n not_o to_o neglect_v or_o careless_o to_o pass_v by_o those_o part_n and_o passage_n of_o holy_a scripture_n which_o when_o we_o read_v we_o do_v not_o understand_v as_o if_o they_o either_o appertain_v not_o unto_o we_o or_o it_o concern_v we_o not_o at_o all_o to_o search_v out_o the_o sense_n and_o meaning_n thereof_o whereas_o by_o often_o read_v searious_a meditate_v and_o frequent_a and_o devout_a pray_v we_o may_v many_o time_n with_o comfort_n understand_v the_o same_o chrysostome_n upon_o the_o 16._o of_o luke_n have_v this_o say_n etiamsi_fw-la non_fw-la intelligas_fw-la illic_fw-la recondita_fw-la denounce_v against_o they_o that_o call_v good_a evil_n and_o evil_a good_a make_v i_o afraid_a to_o acquire_v offender_n and_o make_v i_o also_o bold_a to_o call_v error_n by_o it_o own_o name_n and_o to_o tell_v they_o plain_o which_o miss_v the_o right_a path_n that_o they_o be_v out_o of_o the_o way_n and_o be_v deceive_v let_v not_o my_o meaning_n be_v misconstrue_v neither_o let_v that_o which_o be_v well_o mean_v be_v ill_o take_v the_o testimony_n of_o my_o own_o conscience_n shall_v sufficient_o witness_v to_o myself_o my_o good_a meaning_n and_o the_o judgement_n of_o charity_n
