purpose_n and_o intention_n of_o the_o apostle_n in_o write_v this_o epistle_n which_o be_v to_o comfort_v the_o faithful_a by_o show_v they_o what_o sign_n and_o token_n and_o particular_a evidence_n they_o have_v of_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o of_o their_o salvation_n by_o christ_n for_o so_o he_o say_v chap._n 5.13_o these_o thing_n have_v i_o write_v unto_o you_o whereof_o
