here_o let_v i_o note_v that_o see_v heb._n 6._o 2._o speak_v but_o of_o one_o lay_v on_o of_o hand_n there_o be_v a_o necessity_n that_o we_o determine_v which_o it_o be_v else_o we_o must_v confess_v none_o can_v know_v the_o first_o principle_n but_o to_o take_v off_o the_o force_n of_o our_o argument_n for_o the_o necessity_n of_o imposition_n of_o hand_n with_o prayer_n for_o the_o holy_a spirit_n as_o a_o principle_n in_o the_o more_o complete_a constitution_n of_o christian_a church_n mr._n d._n be_v please_v to_o ask_v this_o question_n if_o every_o one_o of_o these_o principle_n in_o heb._n 6._o be_v so_o absolute_o to_o be_v take_v in_o by_o babe_n and_o without_o which_o we_o be_v not_o esteem_v they_o communicable_a what_o do_v you_o say_v to_o the_o doctrine_n of_o baptism_n in_o the_o text_n one_o of_o the_o principle_n and_o foundation_n of_o the_o gospel_n must_v be_v all_o baptise_a with_o the_o baptism_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o of_o suffering_n also_o or_o not_o to_o be_v receive_v into_o communion_n the_o reception_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n according_a to_o the_o promise_n answ_n 1_o make_v to_o the_o church_n be_v not_o a_o thing_n in_o our_o power_n but_o the_o mean_n to_o seek_v for_o it_o be_v in_o our_o power_n we_o must_v believe_v and_o pray_v for_o the_o promise_n so_o must_v we_o also_o believe_v and_o wait_v for_o the_o resurrection_n and_o the_o eternal_a judgement_n and_o so_o must_v we_o believe_v and_o expect_v suffering_n for_o christ_n else_o we_o have_v not_o right_o lay_v the_o foundation_n in_o respect_v of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o baptism_n but_o now_o to_o argue_v from_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v in_o our_o power_n to_o do_v to_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v only_o in_o the_o power_n and_o dispose_v of_o the_o almighty_a be_v irrational_a and_o dangerous_a and_o may_v be_v retort_v upon_o mr._n d._n after_o this_o manner_n see_v you_o suppose_v a_o man_n may_v be_v admit_v to_o communion_n without_o two_o baptism_n of_o the_o three_o heb._n 6._o 2._o why_o do_v you_o make_v the_o other_o so_o absolute_o necessary_a now_o let_v he_o defend_v himself_o for_o that_o practical_a part_n of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o baptism_n and_o thereby_o he_o will_v defend_v i_o for_o that_o practic_a part_n of_o the_o four_o principle_n 2._o but_o if_o any_o shall_v deny_v the_o promise_n of_o the_o spirit_n with_o which_o all_o christian_n be_v to_o pray_v that_o they_o may_v be_v baptize_v contrary_a to_o the_o late_a dangerous_a doctrine_n of_o some_o who_o will_v restrain_v the_o baptism_n of_o the_o spirit_n to_o miraculous_a gift_n operation_n or_o sign_n etc._n etc._n and_o persuade_v we_o the_o baptism_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v cease_v or_o that_o shall_v deny_v the_o doctrine_n
