cause_n why_o our_o reason_n will_v dictate_v to_o we_o that_o christianity_n be_v the_o true_a religion_n must_v be_v from_o the_o constant_a tradition_n of_o the_o former_a age_n of_o the_o church_n for_o from_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o we_o believe_v the_o gospel_n to_o be_v the_o write_n of_o the_o apostle_n from_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o we_o believe_v the_o historical_a part_n of_o it_o and_o by_o consequence_n from_o hence_o it_o must_v proceed_v that_o we_o believe_v the_o doctrine_n contain_v in_o it_o but_o let_v we_o hear_v his_o reason_n for_o this_o bold_a assertion_n it_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o this_o that_o there_o have_v be_v the_o authority_n of_o a_o hundred_o to_o one_o against_o christianity_n and_o that_o back_v with_o the_o universal_a agreement_n of_o he_o say_v mean_v the_o tradition_n of_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n can_v this_o than_o be_v any_o reason_n against_o it_o that_o the_o heathen_n and_o jew_n do_v not_o assert_v it_o i_o be_o altogether_o of_o his_o opinion_n that_o reason_n will_v demonstrate_v the_o christian_a above_o any_o other_o riligion_n but_o still_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o christian_a church_n together_o with_o the_o gospel_n must_v acquaint_v we_o what_o christianity_n be_v otherwise_o mere_a reason_n can_v never_o know_v it_o so_o that_o let_v reason_n alone_o though_o it_o be_v never_o so_o well_o follow_v with_o constancy_n diligence_n and_o sobriety_n it_o can_v demonstrate_v nothing_o of_o christianity_n if_o it_o be_v not_o back_v with_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o church_n now_o i_o appeal_v to_o the_o author_n himself_o to_o know_v how_o it_o be_v possible_a that_o the_o universal_a tradition_n of_o the_o christian_a church_n shall_v lead_v we_o into_o such_o error_n as_o of_o their_o magistrate_n and_o in_o a_o word_n to_o run_v themselves_o into_o all_o confusion_n danger_n and_o wickedness_n this_o some_o man_n see_v well_o enough_o to_o be_v the_o natural_a consequence_n of_o this_o opinion_n and_o therefore_o they_o who_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o make_v division_n among_o we_o do_v nothing_o else_o but_o cry_v up_o conscience_n and_o every_o man_n own_o
