precinct_n communion_n in_o word_n prayer_n and_o sacrament_n be_v rather_o moral_a than_o political_n and_o may_v be_v have_v and_o be_v enjoy_v many_o time_n in_o many_o place_n where_o there_o be_v no_o external_a discipline_n settle_v or_o exercise_v the_o end_n of_o word_n and_o prayer_n be_v first_o to_o make_v christian_n and_o then_o to_o edify_v they_o and_o these_o be_v no_o soon_o make_v and_o multiply_v but_o they_o must_v hear_v pray_v participate_v the_o sacrament_n before_o any_o form_n of_o discipline_n be_v institute_v and_o if_o every_o one_o will_v constant_o do_v his_o duty_n in_o these_o thing_n both_o private_o and_o public_o there_o will_v be_v no_o need_n of_o discipline_n 2._o whereas_o he_o conceive_v that_o there_o can_v be_v no_o such_o communion_n and_o edification_n but_o one_o and_o the_o same_o individual_a assembly_n he_o be_v much_o mistake_v and_o beside_o his_o word_n be_v very_o ambiguous_a for_o the_o better_a understanding_n hereof_o we_o say_v any_o such_o thing_n again_o a_o congregational_a church_n may_v be_v in_o respect_n of_o discipline_n and_o that_o several_a way_n for_o 1._o a_o congregation_n may_v signify_v a_o community_n of_o christian_n as_o the_o primary_n subject_n of_o the_o power_n of_o the_o key_n 2._o this_o community_n exercise_v in_o this_o power_n and_o that_o either_o by_o a_o representative_a of_o the_o whole_a or_o some_o part_n if_o they_o understand_v they_o to_o be_v congregational_a in_o respect_n of_o the_o exercise_n of_o discipline_n so_o that_o their_o representative_n of_o part_n or_o the_o whole_a may_v all_o of_o they_o congregate_v and_o meet_v at_o one_o time_n in_o one_o place_n as_o ordinary_a or_o extraordinary_a occasion_n shall_v require_v in_o this_o sense_n it_o will_v be_v grant_v that_o even_o the_o church_n of_o jerusalem_n in_o its_o great_a extent_n be_v congregational_a but_o this_o be_v not_o their_o sense_n for_o they_o mean_v by_o congregational_a such_o a_o be_v imply_v at_o least_o for_o express_v it_o be_v not_o in_o these_o place_n the_o induction_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v imperfect_a for_o there_o be_v many_o church_n plant_v by_o the_o apostle_n and_o far_o more_o than_o be_v mention_v in_o the_o act_n of_o the_o apostle_n for_o paul_n upon_o his_o conversion_n go_v into_o arabia_n and_o then_o return_v again_o to_o damascus_n gal._n 1.17_o other_o of_o the_o apostle_n no_o doubt_n go_v into_o egypt_n aethiopia_n india_n persia_n armenia_n spain_n france_n germany_n yet_o none_o of_o these_o church_n be_v mention_v in_o the_o scripture-history_n therefore_o it_o may_v be_v say_v there_o be_v not_o a_o sufficient_a enumeration_n of_o particular_n to_o make_v up_o a_o general_n but_o suppose_v these_o church_n to_o have_v be_v congregational_a at_o first_o it_o be_v certain_a they_o enlarge_v and_o multiply_v to_o far_o great_a number_n in_o after_o time_n and_o though_o this_o be_v certain_a yet_o it_o be_v no_o way_n certain_a that_o upon_o this_o multiplication_n they_o do_v divide_v into_o independent_a congregation_n and_o erect_v independent_a judicatories_n in_o every_o particular_a congregation_n and_o be_v bind_v so_o to_o do_v and_o that_o by_o a_o divine_a precept_n and_o i_o wonder_v much_o at_o mr._n parker_n that_o he_o shall_v argue_v so_o much_o against_o a_o diocesan_n church_n and_o yet_o grant_v that_o all_o israel_n consist_v as_o he_o himself_o confess_v of_o many_o myriad_o shall_v be_v but_o one_o congregation_n which_o be_v of_o a_o far_o great_a extent_n than_o a_o diocese_n whether_o this_o congregation_n be_v as_o now_o it_o be_v by_o many_o manage_v among_o we_o be_v not_o formal_o schism_n as_o it_o be_v charge_v by_o some_o learned_a man_n i_o will_v not_o here_o
