this_o carry_v the_o strength_n and_o bass_n of_o all_o reason_n along_o with_o it_o to_o believe_v that_o which_o we_o judge_v to_o be_v true_a and_o to_o deny_v belief_n where_o we_o judge_v untruth_n the_o old_a serpent_n the_o devil_n begin_v in_o paradise_n with_o this_o temptation_n to_o persuade_v our_o first_o parent_n that_o what_o god_n have_v say_v be_v not_o true_a that_o they_o may_v eat_v of_o the_o forbid_a fruit_n that_o death_n be_v not_o in_o the_o act_n as_o god_n have_v say_v but_o the_o knowledge_n of_o good_a and_o evil_a it_o be_v unbelief_n of_o god_n in_o their_o heart_n that_o make_v they_o call_v god_n the_o liar_n and_o what_o the_o serpent_n say_v to_o be_v truth_n therefore_o choose_v to_o eat_v not_o believe_v they_o have_v eat_v to_o death_n as_o god_n springhead_n of_o all_o evil_a the_o only_a safe_a and_o retire_a place_n for_o satan_n he_o reign_v no_o where_o so_o secure_o as_o in_o the_o unbelieved_a heart_n where_o god_n be_v make_v a_o liar_n that_o darkness_n make_v the_o devil_n to_o be_v count_v as_o truth_n so_o that_o there_o his_o law_n prevail_v and_o he_o reign_v as_o supreme_a second_o unbelief_n second_o evil_a of_o unbelief_n unbelief_n make_v man_n to_o deny_v and_o forsake_v their_o fair_a profession_n of_o christ_n and_o holiness_n rather_o than_o to_o suffer_v for_o they_o and_o this_o be_v the_o true_a reason_n why_o so_o many_o professor_n of_o christ_n and_o holiness_n in_o time_n of_o prosperity_n and_o public_a own_n of_o godliness_n do_v forsake_v both_o christ_n and_o holiness_n in_o time_n of_o suffer_v for_o god_n and_o his_o way_n because_o these_o wither_a branch_n be_v only_o in_o christ_n by_o profession_n not_o by_o
faith_n these_o profess_v christ_n for_o the_o gain_n of_o a_o outward_a reputation_n but_o do_v not_o live_v in_o christ_n by_o faith_n and_o in_o time_n of_o suffering_n the_o beauty_n of_o christ_n be_v lose_v to_o such_o a_o eye_n and_o for_o want_v of_o a_o eye_n of_o faith_n by_o which_o the_o fullness_n glory_n and_o excellency_n of_o christ_n be_v discern_v these_o unbelieved_a professor_n deny_v their_o profession_n and_o their_o master_n too_o if_o it_o come_v to_o suffer_v with_o christ_n if_o on_o he_o they_o will_v swear_v with_o peter_n they_o never_o know_v he_o and_o though_o they_o swear_v yet_o they_o do_v not_o lie_v for_o such_o as_o leave_v their_o profession_n of_o christ_n and_o holiness_n through_o unbelief_n and_o become_v unholy_a they_o may_v true_o say_v they_o never_o know_v he_o for_o who_o ever_o true_o know_v christ_n in_o the_o spirit_n will_v never_o leave_v he_o a_o eye_n of_o faith_n see_v so_o much_o beauty_n faithfulness_n power_n grace_n and_o goodness_n in_o god_n and_o christ_n that_o though_o suffering_n come_v as_o wave_n of_o the_o sea_n yet_o will_v not_o leave_v god_n and_o christ_n but_o cleave_v close_o to_o he_o believe_v in_o his_o grace_n and_o goodness_n for_o support_v and_o deliverance_n but_o that_o soul_n which_o believe_v not_o in_o god_n and_o do_v not_o by_o a_o eye_n of_o faith_n see_v fullness_n in_o he_o of_o power_n grace_n and_o goodness_n to_o support_v and_o deliver_v will_v never_o trust_v in_o he_o but_o with_o deâ—â—â—_n embrace_v the_o present_a world_n such_o as_o follow_v christ_n only_o for_o the_o loaf_n will_v leave_v he_o at_o the_o appearance_n of_o his_o cross_n that_o forward_a professor_n in_o the_o 18._o of_o luke_n 18._o so_o on_o which_o justify_v himself_o in_o keep_v all_o
