scripture_n as_o a_o thing_n in_o which_o they_o excel_v all_o man_n and_o yet_o be_v they_o utter_o ignorant_a of_o this_o especial_a chief_a point_n and_o article_n of_o scripture_n to_o wit_n of_o a_o mighty_a monarch_n with_o a_o puissant_a and_o huge_a army_n of_o man_n and_o that_o in_o worldly_a pomp_n power_n bravery_n and_o dignity_n error_n he_o shall_v exceed_v all_o other_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o with_o dint_n of_o sword_n subdue_v goym_n that_o be_v all_o nation_n and_o bring_v they_o in_o subjection_n to_o the_o jew_n and_o that_o he_o shall_v establish_v his_o princely_a throne_n at_o jerusalem_n in_o the_o land_n of_o canaan_n and_o give_v the_o jew_n all_o wealth_n riches_n dignity_n ease_n and_o plenty_n of_o all_o worldly_a pleasure_n these_o thing_n do_v they_o wherefore_o carnal_o construe_v all_o the_o prophecy_n of_o christ_n they_o promise_v themselves_o in_o he_o only_o the_o external_a momentany_a frail_a brickle_a and_o transitory_a riches_n of_o this_o short_a life_n at_o this_o day_n also_o the_o jew_n retain_v these_o and_o much_o more_o doltish_a dream_n and_o fantasy_n of_o messiah_n for_o oftentimes_o at_o ratisbone_n and_o other_o place_n i_o have_v dispute_v with_o they_o of_o messiah_n and_o his_o kingdom_n but_o i_o can_v never_o here_o any_o thing_n of_o they_o but_o mere_a doltish_a dream_n carnal_a imagination_n and_o ridiculous_a foolish_a fable_n s._n hierome_n write_v much_o of_o the_o error_n of_o the_o jew_n how_o they_o look_v for_o a_o earthly_a kingdom_n in_o christ_n and_o many_o other_o gross_a and_o foolish_a fantastical_a fancy_n which_o i_o will_v never_o have_v believe_v if_o afterward_o i_o myself_o have_v not_o hear_v they_o with_o my_o ear_n but_o it_o be_v no_o marvel_n to_o see_v they_o which_o be_v thus_o wrap_v in_o darkness_n &_o bewitch_v with_o all_o madness_n foul_o and_o foolish_o err_v church_n see_v they_o neither_o be_v nor_o can_v abide_v to_o be_v in_o the_o catholic_a church_n of_o christ_n in_o which_o only_o and_o else_o not_o the_o holy_a ghost_n do_v reveal_v unto_o man_n the_o understanding_n and_o true_a meaning_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o this_o be_v
