who_o can_v give_v that_o to_o another_o which_o he_o have_v not_o himself_o whosoever_o therefore_o be_v send_v whether_o you_o please_v to_o call_v he_o a_o apostle_n or_o a_o evangelist_n or_o a_o bishop_n he_o have_v need_n of_o the_o like_a and_o no_o less_o power_n than_o timothy_n and_o titus_n have_v in_o the_o like_a and_o no_o less_o charge_n this_o therefore_o be_v the_o authority_n which_o be_v assign_v to_o the_o church_n by_o the_o key_n the_o which_o the_o lord_n our_o saviour_n give_v not_o so_o much_o to_o peter_n and_o his_o collegiate_n as_o to_o the_o church_n itself_o so_o that_o of_o right_n it_o may_v do_v that_o at_o this_o day_n which_o it_o can_v of_o old_a namely_o where_o occasion_n serve_v to_o give_v in_o commission_n unto_o sufficient_a man_n the_o publish_n of_o the_o gospel_n with_o authority_n apostolic_a that_o the_o apostolic_a authority_n be_v as_o necessary_a for_o the_o conserve_n and_o confirm_v as_o for_o the_o sound_n and_o first_o plant_v of_o church_n chap._n xviii_o but_o for_o as_o much_o as_o the_o power_n apostolic_a be_v no_o less_o needful_a and_o necessary_a for_o the_o conserve_n and_o confirm_v as_o for_o the_o plant_n and_o first_o place_v of_o church_n we_o must_v also_o have_v a_o special_a regard_n to_o that_o for_o by_o reason_n as_o it_o be_v think_v of_o bishop_n and_o archbishop_n primat_n and_o metropolitanes_n which_o have_v succeed_v the_o apostle_n and_o the_o evangelist_n there_o be_v now_o some_o controversy_n move_v for_o that_o and_o very_o i_o have_v oftentimes_o wonder_v with_o myself_o what_o it_o be_v that_o shall_v make_v any_o learned_a or_o religious_a man_n think_v that_o the_o office_n of_o apostle_n and_o evangelist_n be_v cease_v in_o the_o church_n and_o that_o at_o this_o day_n there_o be_v none_o possess_v of_o any_o authority_n apostolic_a to_o who_o the_o other_o elder_n ought_v to_o supply_v in_o the_o governance_n of_o the_o church_n and_o i_o wonder_v the_o more_o that_o there_o be_v any_o that_o shall_v think_v the_o power_n apostolic_a a_o thing_n so_o extraordinary_a as_o if_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o it_o shall_v be_v devolue_v to_o their_o posterity_n indeed_o the_o church_n have_v not_o continue_v those_o name_n among_o we_o but_o be_v that_o sufficient_a to_o prove_v that_o with_o those_o title_n the_o authority_n also_o be_v surcease_v first_o if_o a_o man_n will_v but_o well_o mark_v the_o latter_a day_n of_o the_o apostle_n of_o paul_n especial_o he_o shall_v find_v that_o the_o apostolic_a government_n can_v not_o possible_o end_v with_o the_o apostle_n for_o by_o those_o thing_n the_o sacred_a scripture_n do_v testify_v of_o paul_n we_o may_v judge_v of_o the_o rest_n who_o no_o doubt_n be_v no_o less_o and_o persevere_v in_o the_o lord_n his_o affair_n can_v no_o more_o be_v extinguish_v with_o they_o than_o it_o be_v abolish_v with_o the_o apostle_n so_o long_o as_o there_o be_v any_o church_n remain_v but_o as_o they_o succeed_v the_o apostle_n so_o have_v they_o their_o successor_n upon_o who_o if_o themselves_o do_v not_o bestow_v the_o power_n they_o have_v receive_v the_o church_n do_v which_o be_v heir_n general_a of_o the_o power_n apostolic_a but_o go_v to_o now_o let_v we_o imagine_v if_o there_o can_v be_v such_o a_o conceit_n that_o it_o be_v not_o so_o as_o i_o have_v say_v let_v we_o suppose_v also_o for_o a_o while_n that_o the_o apostle_n leave_v all_o unto_o pastor_n and_o elder_n of_o equal_a authority_n who_o have_v only_o the_o charge_n of_o their_o several_a church_n and_o their_o province_n limit_v within_o the_o precinct_n of_o their_o own_o only_a parish_n what_o then_o shall_v we_o say_v become_v of_o those_o church_n in_o the_o which_o the_o apostle_n intercept_v by_o death_n or_o they_o which_o with_o the_o apostle_n do_v govern_v the_o church_n can_v not_o ordain_v any_o pastor_n do_v their_o death_n fall_v out_o so_o pat_o that_o every_o church_n have_v their_o pastor_n and_o doctor_n and_o that_o none_o of_o they_o be_v leave_v
