to_o submit_v to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n in_o the_o denial_n of_o it_o and_o to_o resign_v up_o itself_o to_o his_o good_a pleasure_n as_o to_o the_o collation_n of_o it_o upon_o he_o i_o say_v in_o such_o case_n as_o these_o i_o see_v no_o reason_n for_o a_o christian_n to_o question_v whether_o this_o answer_n be_v from_o god_n as_o a_o god_n of_o truth_n and_o faithfulness_n fulfil_v his_o promise_n to_o the_o soul_n his_o promise_n to_o his_o people_n be_v to_o withhold_v from_o they_o no_o good_a thing_n that_o be_v nothing_o which_o shall_v be_v true_o and_o real_o good_a for_o they_o consider_v in_o their_o circumstance_n now_o where_o a_o sensible_a good_a be_v withhold_v and_o deny_v that_o a_o real_a good_a may_v be_v bestow_v and_o the_o soul_n be_v also_o bring_v to_o see_v its_o own_o mistake_n in_o the_o desire_n of_o that_o sensible_a good_a and_o to_o acquiesce_v in_o the_o good_a pleasure_n of_o god_n in_o not_o give_v it_o nay_o to_o acknowledge_v that_o it_o be_v better_a for_o it_o not_o to_o have_v it_o and_o be_v quiet_a and_o satisfy_v certain_o this_o be_v one_o of_o the_o clear_a answer_n of_o our_o prayer_n and_o no_o soul_n ought_v to_o question_v but_o this_o be_v a_o return_n of_o prayer_n let_v we_o put_v a_o case_n suppose_v a_o christian_a lie_v under_o the_o power_n of_o some_o mortal_a disease_n under_o which_o he_o have_v often_o pray_v that_o if_o it_o be_v possible_a god_n will_v make_v the_o bitter_a cup_n of_o death_n to_o pass_v from_o he_o still_o he_o or_o she_o grow_v weak_a and_o weak_a worse_a and_o worse_o as_o to_o he_o or_o her_o bodily_a state_n but_o they_o find_v within_o themselves_o a_o further_a contentedness_n with_o the_o good_a pleasure_n of_o god_n a_o power_n to_o glory_n in_o their_o tribulation_n and_o to_o rejoice_v in_o the_o hope_n of_o that_o glory_n of_o god_n to_o which_o its_o affliction_n be_v bring_v it_o a_o desire_n not_o to_o be_v unclothe_v mere_o and_o free_a from_o its_o pain_n but_o clothe_v upon_o that_o mortality_n may_v be_v swallow_v up_o in_o life_n what_o reason_n now_o have_v a_o christian_n to_o suspect_v whether_o this_o be_v in_o answer_n to_o its_o prayer_n and_o slow_v from_o god_n as_o a_o god_n of_o truth_n fulfil_v his_o word_n see_v as_o the_o apostle_n say_v 2_o cor._n 5._o 5._o he_o that_o have_v wrought_v we_o for_o the_o self_n same_o thing_n be_v
