any_o part_n of_o the_o scripture_n yet_o they_o ought_v upon_o unerring_a principle_n to_o be_v deduce_v therefrom_o or_o at_o least_o without_o contradiction_n unto_o any_o positive_a law_n or_o command_n in_o scripture_n by_o this_o mean_v the_o law_n of_o man_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o law_n of_o god_n for_o he_o own_v the_o very_a law_n of_o the_o heathen_a to_o be_v of_o himself_o though_o frame_v by_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n only_o and_o by_o he_o write_v in_o their_o heart_n by_o which_o the_o gentile_n be_v either_o excuse_v or_o condemn_v 15._o 2_o rom._n 15._o why_o then_o fly_v you_o from_o these_o law_n as_o such_o bugbear_n why_o do_v you_o not_o in_o all_o humility_n and_o singleness_n of_o heart_n yield_v obedience_n to_o they_o for_o the_o lord_n sake_n where_o lie_v the_o illegality_n of_o they_o because_o you_o can_v find_v lawn_n sleeve_n and_o rochet_n in_o scripture_n therefore_o must_v they_o not_o be_v wear_v and_o because_o you_o do_v not_o read_v of_o gown_n tippet_n square_a cap_n and_o canonical_a girdle_n therefore_o it_o be_v unlawful_a for_o minister_n to_o wear_v they_o when_o god_n give_v we_o the_o light_n of_o the_o scripture_n he_o do_v not_o take_v from_o we_o the_o light_n of_o reason_n this_o indeed_o be_v but_o a_o dim_a light_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o other_o and_o ought_v not_o be_v trust_v to_o in_o matter_n of_o faith_n divine_a and_o supernatural_a thing_n but_o be_v in_o conjunction_n with_o the_o great_a light_n of_o god_n word_n we_o have_v a_o clear_a and_o perfect_a sunshine_n to_o see_v as_o far_o as_o a_o humane_a condition_n will_v permit_v of_o into_o the_o business_n both_o of_o doctrine_n and_o manor_n and_o we_o be_v thereby_o enable_v to_o give_v rule_n in_o matter_n of_o faith_n and_o life_n for_o though_o the_o scripture_n be_v a_o perfect_a and_o absolute_a rule_n in_o itself_o and_o contain_v all_o thing_n within_o itself_o
