of_o communion_n that_o be_v impose_v on_o the_o people_n yet_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o justify_v the_o separation_n of_o those_o who_o do_v not_o only_o think_v it_o lawful_a but_o expedient_a to_o join_v with_o the_o church_n of_o england_n in_o their_o prayer_n and_o ceremony_n etc._n etc._n who_o if_o they_o will_v separate_v from_o the_o church_n of_o england_n and_o justify_v their_o separation_n they_o must_v argue_v from_o other_o topic_n for_o certain_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o church_n and_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o magistrate_n can_v but_o engage_v a_o people_n to_o do_v what_o be_v both_o lawful_a and_o expedient_a these_o therefore_o i_o think_v deny_v that_o they_o separate_v from_o the_o communion_n of_o the_o church_n although_o they_o worship_v god_n in_o meeting_n local_o distant_a from_o the_o parish_n church_n yet_o their_o meeting_n be_v but_o as_o chapel_n of_o ease_n and_o the_o preacher_n but_o as_o curate_n to_o the_o parish_n church_n that_o the_o episcopal_a party_n may_v effectual_o demonstrate_v a_o religious_a assembly_n local_o distant_a from_o the_o parish_n church_n to_o be_v schismatical_a they_o must_v prove_v 1._o that_o the_o people_n of_o this_o assembly_n be_v once_o actual_o member_n of_o the_o parish_n church_n 2._o that_o these_o people_n do_v ordinary_o separate_v themselves_o from_o the_o external_a communion_n of_o their_o parish_n church_n 3._o that_o their_o separation_n be_v causeless_a first_o they_o must_v prove_v that_o the_o people_n of_o this_o assembly_n that_o be_v local_o distant_a from_o the_o parish_n church_n be_v once_o member_n of_o the_o parish_n church_n that_o they_o be_v under_o a_o obligation_n of_o hold_v external_a communion_n with_o their_o parish_n 1._o all_o external_n communion_n must_v be_v in_o parish_n assemblys_n or_o single_a congregational_a church_n for_o a_o diocesan_n provincial_a or_o national_a assembly_n of_o all_o the_o member_n of_o those_o society_n for_o external_n communion_n be_v on_o the_o account_n of_o the_o multitude_n of_o the_o people_n impossible_a it_o be_v impossible_a they_o shall_v meet_v in_o one_o and_o the_o same_o assembly_n and_o hold_v communion_n with_o each_o other_o in_o prayer_n in_o the_o word_n and_o in_o the_o sacrament_n their_o external_n communion_n in_o prayer_n etc._n etc._n must_v be_v in_o lesser_a assembly_n or_o not_o at_o all_o 2._o those_o who_o be_v under_o any_o obligation_n of_o hold_v external_a communion_n with_o this_o or_o the_o other_o parish_n must_v be_v member_n of_o this_o or_o the_o other_o parish_n church_n such_o as_o be_v not_o member_n of_o this_o or_o the_o other_o parish_n church_n can_v be_v say_v to_o separate_v from_o it_o though_o they_o meet_v in_o place_n local_o distant_a because_o they_o not_o be_v member_n of_o the_o parish_n church_n be_v not_o under_o any_o obligation_n of_o hold_v external_a communion_n with_o that_o parish_n a_o man_n say_v dr._n still_v fleet_n be_v not_o say_v to_o separate_v from_o every_o church_n where_o he_o forbear_v or_o cease_v to_o have_v communion_n but_o only_o from_o that_o church_n with_o which_o he_o be_v oblige_v to_o hold_v communion_n and_o yet_o withdraw_v from_o it_o this_o sufficient_o evince_n that_o unless_o the_o conformist_n can_v prove_v that_o the_o dissenter_n be_v oblige_v to_o hold_v communion_n as_o member_n of_o the_o parish_n church_n they_o can_v prove_v a_o separation_n to_o separate_v from_o a_o church_n do_v suppose_v that_o person_n to_o have_v be_v once_o of_o that_o church_n but_o the_o quaerie_n be_v how_o the_o conformist_n will_v prove_v all_o the_o dissenter_n to_o be_v member_n of_o some_o particular_a parish_n church_n will_v they_o say_v that_o they_o be_v all_o make_v member_n of_o some_o particular_a parish_n church_n by_o their_o baptism_n that_o can_v be_v because_o by_o baptism_n we_o be_v only_o make_v member_n of_o the_o catholic_n church_n do_v our_o be_v bear_v english_a man_n and_o our_o inhabit_v in_o such_o a_o parish_n make_v we_o member_n of_o the_o parish_n church_n no_o for_o there_o be_v no_o ground_n in_o scripture_n for_o this_o answer_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o his_o apostle_n and_o the_o primitive_a christian_n for_o the_o first_o 300_o year_n and_o of_o most_o protestant_n be_v full_a for_o this_o which_o be_v that_o it_o must_v be_v by_o the_o people_n consent_n for_o as_o the_o people_n be_v invest_v with_o a_o right_a to_o choose_v their_o own_o pastor_n and_o the_o church_n with_o which_o they_o will_v hold_v communion_n even_o so_o they_o can_v be_v member_n nor_o under_o any_o obligation_n of_o hold_v ordinary_a communion_n with_o this_o or_o the_o other_o particular_a church_n without_o their_o own_o consent_n consent_n be_v as_o absolute_o necessary_a to_o the_o constitute_v a_o particular_a parish_n church_n as_o a_o national_a which_o consent_n may_v be_v discover_v not_o only_o express_o but_o also_o implicit_o which_o be_v when_o a_o people_n do_v ordinary_o join_v with_o some_o particular_a church_n in_o all_o ordinance_n as_o many_o parishioner_n who_o by_o their_o
