in_o jsrael_n or_o in_o judah_n be_v false_a and_o deceytfull_a sign_n etc._n etc._n if_o it_o will_v than_o it_o may_v be_v urge_v against_o judah_n also_o and_o where_o then_o be_v circumcision_n etc._n etc._n i_o answer_v if_o there_o be_v no_o circumcision_n but_o among_o they_o that_o be_v without_o the_o true_a god_n without_o his_o ministry_n and_o without_o his_o law_n then_o be_v there_o no_o true_a circumcision_n in_o the_o world_n for_o if_o we_o consider_v the_o first_o institution_n of_o circumcision_n gen._n 17._o and_o the_o apostle_n doctrine_n of_o it_o in_o rom._n 2._o 25._o 28._o 29._o &_o 4._o 11._o and_o the_o doctrine_n of_o christian_a baptism_n now_o answerable_a to_o circumcision_n of_o old_a it_o be_v impossible_a that_o that_o people_n shall_v have_v the_o true_a seal_n of_o righteousness_n and_o salvation_n from_o god_n in_o christ_n that_o be_v without_o god_n and_o without_o christ._n no_o colourable_a excuse_n or_o distinction_n will_v here_o availeâ—_n except_o man_n can_v prove_v a_o absolute_a promise_n of_o salvation_n whether_o man_n repent_v &_o believe_v or_o no_o whether_o they_o be_v in_o god_n and_o christ_n or_o no_o which_o unrepentant_a continue_v still_o actual_o in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o state_n of_o salvation_n and_o what_o colour_n make_v he_o against_o this_o plain_a scripture_n he_o first_o speak_v of_o forsake_v god_n what_o it_o mean_v and_o how_o it_o be_v speak_v of_o the_o jew_n in_o the_o prophet_n namely_o of_o forsake_v his_o law_n temple_n worship_n and_o service_n and_o not_o simple_o the_o word_n which_o i_o cite_v that_o israel_n be_v without_o the_o true_a god_n &c_n &c_n and_o speak_v of_o a_o other_o phrase_n of_o their_o forsake_v the_o lord_n to_o ease_v his_o burden_n which_o he_o find_v too_o heavy_a 3._o it_o be_v grant_v he_o that_o by_o forsake_v the_o lord_n be_v mean_v the_o forsake_v of_o his_o law_n temple_n worship_n and_o service_n and_o not_o that_o they_o do_v profess_o renounce_v god_n but_o still_o pretend_v and_o intend_v to_o serve_v the_o true_a god_n what_o will_v he_o infer_v hereupon_o this_o make_v the_o more_o against_o his_o plea_n for_o they_o the_o scripture_n say_v they_o be_v without_o the_o true_a god_n without_o teach_v priest_n without_o law_n this_o be_v true_a either_o in_o their_o own_o account_n or_o in_o god_n not_o in_o their_o own_o account_n for_o they_o think_v they_o still_o retain_v the_o true_a god_n even_o as_o the_o heathen_n of_o old_a heretic_n antichristian_o and_o jew_n at_o this_o day_n persuade_v themselves_o that_o they_o serve_v the_o true_a god_n therefore_o they_o be_v such_o in_o god_n account_n now_o god_n judgement_n be_v always_o according_a to_o truth_n when_o man_n judgement_n err_v and_o deceive_v himself_o thus_o then_o though_o israel_n think_v themselves_o the_o true_a church_n and_o to_o have_v the_o true_a god_n as_o my_o opposite_a also_o think_v and_o plead_v for_o they_o yet_o in_o the_o lord_n account_v which_o be_v truth_n they_o be_v without_o the_o true_a god_n
