that_o so_o he_o and_o such_o of_o the_o father_n as_o he_o shall_v name_v may_v make_v the_o say_a examination_n of_o which_o they_o shall_v give_v a_o certificate_n seal_v by_o the_o rector_n and_o every_o sunday_n at_o the_o time_n of_o offer_v or_o before_o or_o after_o mass_n read_v a_o chapter_n of_o the_o same_o to_o the_o people_n in_o conformity_n to_o the_o order_n they_o shall_v receive_v decree_n xviii_o whereas_o through_o the_o ignorance_n and_o bad_a doctrine_n of_o the_o priest_n of_o this_o diocese_n occasion_v by_o their_o have_v be_v accustom_v to_o read_v heretical_a and_o apocryphal_a book_n they_o do_v many_o time_n deliver_v error_n and_o fabulous_a story_n in_o their_o sermon_n and_o admonition_n to_o the_o people_n without_o know_v what_o they_o say_v themselves_o therefore_o to_o prevent_v the_o people_n be_v mis-taught_a the_o synod_n do_v command_v that_o whensoever_o it_o shall_v be_v prove_v to_o the_o prelate_n that_o any_o such_o thing_n have_v be_v deliver_v in_o public_a or_o in_o any_o congregation_n that_o the_o prelate_n have_v draw_v up_o a_o form_n of_o recantation_n in_o write_v shall_v send_v to_o the_o say_a curate_n or_o the_o person_n that_o have_v deliver_v such_o thing_n command_v they_o to_o retract_v and_o unsay_v the_o same_o in_o public_a either_o by_o read_v the_o say_a recantation_n or_o by_o declare_v the_o
