of_o the_o law_n earthly_a and_o to_o put_v as_o great_a difference_n between_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o of_o the_o law_n as_o god_n have_v make_v between_o heaven_n and_o earth_n between_o light_n and_o darkness_n gospel_n between_o day_n and_o night_n let_v the_o one_o be_v as_o the_o light_n and_o the_o day_n and_o the_o other_o as_o the_o darkness_n and_o the_o night_n and_o will_v to_o god_n we_o can_v yet_o further_o separate_v the_o one_o from_o the_o other_o wherefore_o if_o the_o question_n be_v concern_v the_o matter_n of_o faith_n or_o conscience_n let_v we_o utter_o exclude_v the_o law_n and_o leave_v it_o on_o the_o earth_n but_o if_o we_o have_v to_o do_v with_o work_n then_o let_v we_o lighten_v the_o lantern_n of_o work_n and_o of_o the_o night_n wherefore_o if_o thy_o conscience_n be_v terrify_v with_o the_o sense_n and_o feel_n of_o sin_n think_v thus_o with_o thyself_o thou_o be_v now_o remain_v upon_o earth_n there_o let_v the_o be_v ignorant_a of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n and_o go_v about_o to_o establish_v their_o own_o righteousness_n have_v not_o submit_v themselves_o to_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n rom._n 10._o for_o they_o be_v blind_a and_o know_v not_o how_o they_o ought_v to_o judge_v of_o faith_n and_o of_o the_o promise_n and_o therefore_o without_o all_o understanding_n they_o rush_v into_o the_o scripture_n take_v hold_v but_o of_o one_o part_n thereof_o to_o wit_n the_o law_n &_o this_o they_o imagine_v that_o they_o be_v able_a to_o fulfil_v by_o work_n but_o this_o be_v a_o very_a dream_n a_o bewytch_a and_o illusion_n of_o the_o heart_n and_o that_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n which_o they_o think_v they_o do_v fulfil_v be_v nothing_o else_o in_o very_a deed_n but_o idolatry_n and_o blasphemy_n against_o god_n therefore_o it_o can_v not_o be_v but_o they_o must_v needs_o abide_v under_o the_o curse_n it_o be_v impossible_a therefore_o that_o we_o shall_v do_v afterwards_o attribute_v to_o work_n also_o but_o yet_o because_o of_o faith_n only_o and_o alone_o do_v wherefore_o in_o read_v of_o the_o scripture_n we_o must_v learn_v to_o put_v a_o difference_n be_v all_o at_o once_o fulfil_v in_o christ_n wherefore_o this_o be_v in_o deed_n a_o apostolic_a and_o invincible_a argument_n not_o take_v out_o of_o one_o place_n of_o the_o law_n but_o out_o of_o the_o whole_a law_n which_o paul_n also_o use_v as_o a_o sure_a ground_n here_o we_o may_v see_v with_o what_o diligence_n paul_n read_v the_o holy_a scripture_n and_o how_o exact_o he_o weigh_v in_o the_o same_o hope_n against_o sin_n and_o wait_v for_o the_o full_a consummation_n of_o perfect_a righteousness_n in_o heaven_n these_o thing_n be_v not_o right_o understand_v but_o when_o they_o be_v put_v in_o practice_n what_o difference_n there_o be_v between_o faith_n and_o hope_n here_o rise_v a_o question_n what_o difference_n there_o be_v between_o faith_n and_o hope_n the_o sophister_n and_o schoolman_n have_v labour_v very_o much_o in_o this_o matter_n but_o they_o can_v never_o show_v any_o certainty_n yea_o to_o we_o which_o travel_n in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n with_o much_o diligence_n and_o also_o with_o more_o fullness_n and_o power_n of_o spirit_n be_v it_o speak_v without_o any_o brag_n it_o be_v hard_o to_o find_v any_o difference_n for_o there_o be_v so_o great_a affinity_n between_o faith_n and_o hope_n that_o the_o one_o can_v not_o be_v separate_a from_o the_o other_o notwithstanding_o there_o be_v a_o difference_n between_o they_o which_o be_v
