and_o sue_v to_o his_o father_n isaac_n for_o it_o he_o be_v reject_v because_o he_o have_v already_o sell_v it_o unto_o jacob_n and_o jacob_n have_v already_o get_v that_o blessing_n god_n so_o order_v the_o matter_n the_o same_o calamity_n therefore_o remain_v to_o all_o those_o that_o by_o lust_n and_o unclean_a pleasure_n and_o such_o like_a sin_n disable_v themselves_o from_o the_o right_n of_o that_o eternal_a blessing_n whereto_o god_n of_o his_o great_a mercy_n have_v admit_v they_o by_o adopt_v they_o for_o his_o son_n for_o he_o have_v no_o place_n of_o repentance_n though_o he_o seek_v it_o careful_o with_o tear_n the_o author_n therefore_o add_v this_o lest_o any_o profane_a person_n shall_v think_v that_o he_o can_v move_v god_n afterward_o by_o his_o tear_n and_o cry_n not_o to_o deprive_v he_o final_o of_o that_o blessing_n which_o be_v heavenly_a happiness_n for_o the_o same_o condition_n will_v befall_v they_o that_o happen_v unto_o esau_n who_o find_v no_o place_n for_o repentance_n though_o he_o seek_v it_o earnest_o with_o tear_n and_o cry_n as_o the_o scripture_n testify_v from_o this_o place_n it_o clear_o appear_v that_o to_o enjoy_v the_o birthright_n and_o the_o chief_a blessing_n otherwise_o due_a of_o course_n to_o the_o firstborn_a be_v thing_n distinct_a and_o esau_n though_o he_o have_v not_o sell_v his_o birthright_n may_v notwithstanding_o god_n so_o willing_a and_o dispose_v have_v fail_v of_o the_o chief_a blessing_n because_o it_o be_v already_o settle_v upon_o jacob._n for_o if_o esau_n have_v now_o solâ—_n and_o lose_v his_o birthright_n will_v yet_o have_v get_v the_o chief_a blessing_n and_o do_v sue_v with_o prayer_n and_o tear_n to_o his_o father_n for_o it_o why_o may_v not_o jacob_n though_o he_o have_v not_o get_v the_o birthright_n aspire_v to_o the_o blessing_n be_v it_o not_o free_a for_o god_n to_o bestow_v it_o rather_o upon_o jacob_n then_o esau_n although_o therefore_o without_o the_o rejection_n of_o his_o birthright_n esau_n may_v not_o be_v prefer_v before_o jacob_n for_o the_o blessing_n yet_o see_v he_o have_v for_o mer_o despise_v his_o birthright_n he_o be_v altogether_o worthy_a to_o lose_v the_o fruit_n of_o it_o also_o that_o so_o he_o may_v fail_v of_o the_o blessing_n not_o only_o by_o god_n decree_n and_o pleasure_n but_o by_o his_o own_o fault_n and_o demerit_n the_o pronoune_n it_o though_o it_o may_v be_v relative_a to_o the_o blessing_n yet_o it_o rather_o seem_v referable_a to_o repentance_n and_o yet_o not_o to_o the_o repentance_n of_o esau_n but_o of_o isaac_n for_o esau_n must_v be_v suppose_v to_o seek_v that_o which_o he_o find_v not_o for_o the_o author_n do_v manifest_o oppose_v these_o two_o one_o to_o the_o other_o but_o he_o find_v not_o repentance_n and_o therefore_o he_o seek_v repentance_n for_o to_o find_v no_o place_n of_o repentance_n be_v all_o one_o with_o not_o to_o find_v repentance_n that_o the_o form_n of_o the_o opposition_n may_v the_o better_o appear_v unless_o we_o say_v that_o one_o thing_n be_v seek_v and_o another_o be_v not_o find_v for_o the_o thing_n who_o place_n can_v be_v find_v that_o thing_n can_v be_v make_v existent_n but_o now_o see_v esau_n seek_v not_o his_o own_o repentance_n for_o he_o do_v repent_v of_o his_o fact_n and_o testify_v his_o sorrow_n with_o tear_n and_o cry_n it_o remain_v therefore_o that_o by_o that_o repentance_n who_o place_n can_v not_o be_v find_v we_o understand_v the_o repentance_n of_o isaac_n whereto_o esau_n by_o his_o weep_a and_o complaint_n will_v move_v isaac_n that_o he_o will_v revoke_v the_o blessing_n give_v to_o jacob_n and_o translate_v it_o upon_o himself_o but_o he_o be_v therein_o disappoint_v and_o frustrate_v for_o his_o tear_n and_o cry_n come_v too_o late_a and_o do_v not_o help_v he_o and_o this_o point_n the_o author_n leave_v to_o the_o consideration_n of_o all_o profane_a person_n that_o after_o they_o have_v reject_v or_o neglect_v their_o right_n to_o eternal_a salvation_n their_o tear_n and_o cry_n will_v avail_v they_o nothing_o if_o they_o come_v too_o late_o as_o all_o those_o do_v which_o only_o then_o be_v pour_v forth_o when_o the_o time_n be_v pass_v for_o amendment_n of_o life_n and_o the_o time_n already_o come_v for_o judgement_n and_o punishment_n or_o else_o their_o tear_n be_v not_o serious_a enough_o and_o effectual_a to_o a_o new_a course_n of_o life_n and_o to_o true_a holiness_n for_o the_o recovery_n of_o that_o right_n which_o they_o have_v lose_v for_o the_o author_n have_v determine_v it_o before_o that_o without_o holiness_n no_o man_n shall_v see_v the_o lord_n ver_fw-la 14._o and_o therefore_o a_o matter_n of_o this_o consequence_n must_v not_o think_v to_o be_v
