either_o to_o the_o high_a priest_n or_o to_o moses_n himself_o all_o that_o be_v he●e_o say_v be_v that_o god_n will_v by_o a_o cloud_n upon_o the_o mercy-seat_n testify_v his_o presence_n which_o whether_o it_o be_v the_o cloud_n raise_v by_o the_o smoke_n of_o the_o incense_n which_o the_o high_a priest_n be_v now_o to_o bring_v with_o he_o or_o any_o other_o cloud_n always_o abide_v upon_o the_o mercy-seat_n we_o need_v not_o inquire_v sufficient_a it_o be_v that_o we_o know_v hereby_o that_o god_n do_v testify_v his_o presence_n and_o doubtless_o in_o some_o glorious_a manner_n upon_o the_o mercy-seat_n and_o therefore_o the_o high_a priest_n may_v not_o when_o he_o will_v go_v in_o thither_o but_o only_o once_o a_o year_n and_o then_o with_o the_o smoke_n of_o incense_n ascend_v conceive_v that_o these_o holy_a linen_n garment_n here_o speak_v of_o be_v those_o mention_a exod._n 28._o 39_o which_o the_o high_a priest_n wear_v under_o his_o other_o rich_a attire_n and_o that_o together_o with_o these_o here_o mention_v all_o his_o other_o garment_n be_v to_o be_v understand_v also_o but_o because_o it_o be_v express_o say_v vers_fw-la 23._o that_o when_o aaron_n return_v out_o of_o the_o most_o holy_a place_n into_o the_o tabernacle_n of_o the_o congregation_n he_o shall_v put_v off_o the_o linen_n garment_n which_o he_o put_v on_o when_o he_o go_v into_o the_o holy_a place_n and_o shall_v leave_v they_o there_o therefore_o i_o rather_o conceive_v with_o other_o that_o these_o be_v other_o plain_a linen_n garment_n like_o those_o that_o be_v make_v for_o the_o messiah_n rich_o adorn_v with_o all_o righteousness_n and_o grace_n and_o not_o that_o god_n be_v delight_v with_o such_o rich_a garment_n and_o so_o he_o leave_v they_o off_o when_o he_o go_v into_o the_o place_n of_o god_n special_a presence_n and_o 2._o that_o in_o this_o plain_a attire_n he_o may_v be_v a_o figure_n of_o the_o base_a estate_n of_o christ_n upon_o earth_n and_o how_o he_o shall_v without_o worldly_a glory_n perform_v the_o work_n of_o our_o redemption_n verse_n 6._o and_o aaron_n shall_v offer_v his_o bullock_n of_o the_o sinne-offering_a in_o what_o time_n and_o manner_n this_o be_v do_v see_v vers_fw-la 11._o verse_n 8._o and_o aaron_n shall_v cast_v lot_n on_o the_o two_o goat_n which_o signify_v that_o god_n will_v accept_v no_o sacrifice_n but_o what_o be_v of_o his_o own_o choose_n and_o that_o in_o the_o work_n of_o our_o redemption_n by_o christ_n nothing_o shall_v be_v do_v but_o what_o god_n hand_n and_o his_o counsel_n have_v determine_v
