of_o the_o then_o government_n and_o some_o ceremony_n then_o in_o use_n yet_o he_o can_v no_o way_n approve_v of_o the_o corrupt_a innovation_n come_v on_o in_o those_o day_n but_o do_v with_o all_o wisdom_n and_o zeal_n reprove_v they_o countenance_v goodness_n and_o good_a man_n and_o by_o this_o mean_n he_o be_v a_o great_a stay_n and_o comfort_n to_o the_o godly_a minister_n and_o people_n both_o in_o the_o city_n and_o country_n thereabouts_o who_o not_o only_o by_o his_o public_a preach_n but_o by_o many_o other_o christian_n and_o ministerial_a help_n administer_v in_o his_o more_o private_a converse_v he_o do_v very_o much_o encourage_v in_o true_a piety_n of_o this_o very_a many_o family_n in_o that_o city_n have_v great_a experience_n even_o those_o of_o the_o mean_a rank_n humility_n who_o he_o be_v wont_n often_o to_o visit_v as_o he_o have_v opportunity_n that_o he_o may_v the_o better_o understand_v their_o spiritual_a condition_n admit_v also_o person_n of_o all_o rank_n free_o to_o apply_v themselves_o unto_o he_o as_o they_o have_v occasion_n and_o to_o partake_v the_o benefit_n of_o private_a conference_n prayer_n and_o other_o religious_a exercise_n as_o likewise_o afford_v his_o christian_a advice_n and_o direction_n in_o case_n of_o difficulty_n especial_o to_o distress_a conscience_n in_o which_o case_n by_o most_o of_o his_o prudent_a and_o judicious_a resolution_n he_o be_v frequent_o consult_v with_o as_o a_o kind_n of_o oracle_n and_o that_o not_o only_o during_o his_o abode_n at_o canterbury_n but_o wherever_o else_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n do_v cast_v he_o and_o herein_o he_o have_v a_o excellent_a ability_n and_o dexterity_n and_o take_v much_o delight_n in_o it_o abroad_o and_o his_o assistance_n he_o afford_v not_o only_o to_o those_o of_o that_o city_n but_o also_o to_o many_o of_o the_o most_o religious_a family_n of_o the_o nobility_n and_o gentry_n thereabouts_o to_o who_o both_o by_o his_o personal_a converse_v and_o his_o christian_a letter_n of_o which_o there_o be_v great_a number_n yet_o to_o be_v see_v he_o afford_v frequent_a
