otherwise_o to_o acknowledge_v the_o wrong_n he_o have_v do_v we_o therein_o but_o in_o answer_n to_o our_o so_o just_a and_o reasonable_a a_o demand_n he_o send_v a_o scurrilous_a paper_n wherein_o he_o both_o great_o abuse_v we_o and_o the_o evidence_n we_o have_v quote_v to_o he_o as_o also_o several_a of_o our_o friend_n and_o their_o write_n in_o general_a term_n though_o to_o this_o day_n he_o have_v not_o produce_v to_o we_o one_o sentence_n out_o of_o all_o their_o book_n that_o he_o do_v charge_n to_o be_v erroneous_a yet_o have_v the_o confidence_n to_o bid_v we_o call_v in_o all_o such_o book_n and_o let_v they_o be_v burn_v by_o the_o common_a crier_n and_o deny_v the_o author_n of_o they_o and_o withal_o deny_v he_o have_v so_o say_v as_o we_o be_v inform_v we_o thereupon_o further_o examine_v our_o evidence_n who_o still_o affirm_v what_o he_o have_v declare_v as_o aforesaid_a be_v truth_n and_o we_o also_o have_v the_o substance_n of_o the_o matter_n in_o two_o chief_a point_n viz._n that_o we_o deny_v the_o resurrection_n and_o salvation_n by_o the_o come_v of_o christ_n witness_v by_o another_o of_o his_o hearer_n who_o declare_v he_o have_v hear_v he_o so_o have_v cast_v out_o against_o we_o we_o therefore_o do_v renew_v our_o demand_n unto_o he_o viz._n to_o give_v we_o a_o meeting_n and_o then_o appear_v to_o make_v good_a his_o say_a charge_n if_o he_o can_v against_o we_o and_o that_o we_o will_v then_o also_o appear_v to_o vindicate_v our_o principle_n as_o lay_v down_o either_o by_o we_o or_o our_o friend_n who_o he_o have_v so_o abuse_v who_o name_n he_o have_v insert_v in_o his_o first_o paper_n after_o a_o long_a time_n he_o send_v we_o another_o paper_n wherein_o he_o tell_v we_o that_o by_o our_o method_n he_o perceive_v we_o be_v not_o like_a to_o appear_v in_o public_a to_o discourse_v principle_n etc._n etc._n and_o in_o a_o boast_a way_n tell_v we_o that_o we_o will_v not_o vouchsafe_v he_o the_o least_o ground_n imaginable_a on_o which_o to_o bottom_v a_o hope_n that_o we_o and_o he_o shall_v come_v to_o grapple_v in_o a_o public_a contest_v and_o so_o proceed_v still_o in_o the_o denial_n of_o some_o of_o the_o matter_n in_o charge_n already_o prove_v not_o fail_v to_o renew_v his_o reflection_n upon_o we_o and_o our_o principle_n now_o when_o we_o have_v receive_v this_o boast_a paper_n of_o he_o by_o which_o one_o may_v think_v that_o he_o on_o his_o part_n shall_v not_o fail_v to_o grapple_v in_o public_a we_o return_v he_o answer_n see_v he_o deny_v some_o part_n of_o the_o charge_n as_o lay_v down_o and_o make_v he_o this_o offer_n as_o a_o moderate_a expedient_a to_o give_v he_o a_o meeting_n and_o that_o the_o witness_n and_o he_o may_v come_v face_n to_o face_n and_o that_o they_o may_v have_v liberty_n before_o the_o people_n to_o declare_v their_o matter_n of_o evidence_n which_o they_o have_v to_o offer_v and_o we_o to_o lay_v down_o our_o reason_n why_o we_o be_v dissatisfy_v and_o then_o he_o to_o say_v what_o he_o can_v to_o clear_v himself_o and_o when_o all_o have_v say_v what_o they_o have_v to_o say_v to_o the_o open_n of_o the_o matter_n we_o will_v quiet_o leave_v it_o to_o the_o conscience_n of_o the_o people_n to_o judge_v and_o believe_v as_o they_o shall_v find_v the_o justice_n of_o the_o case_n in_o their_o own_o understanding_n and_o this_o be_v do_v we_o offer_v to_o proceed_v to_o discourse_v with_o he_o about_o those_o three_o principle_n viz._n the_o resurrection_n justification_n and_o perfection_n in_o sanctification_n as_o to_o degree_n attainable_a and_o further_o about_o particular_a election_n and_o reprobation_n of_o person_n and_o also_o offer_v to_o dispute_v with_o he_o principle_n for_o principle_n so_o long_o as_o may_v tend_v to_o edification_n etc._n etc._n and_o for_o this_o end_n we_o demand_v a_o meeting_n and_o desire_v a_o orderly_a and_o peaceable_a auditory_a of_o sober_a people_n that_o grave_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n we_o may_v go_v through_o those_o thing_n in_o our_o discourse_n to_o our_o satisfaction_n and_o their_o edification_n etc._n etc._n and_o further_o offer_v our_o large_a meeting_n house_n for_o a_o accommodation_n to_o the_o meeting_n if_o he_o please_v or_o otherwise_o we_o will_v submit_v to_o go_v to_o any_o other_o convenient_a place_n of_o his_o appoint_v and_o leave_v
