spirit_n of_o god_n work_v my_o heart_n to_o jesus_n christ_n the_o lord_n from_o heaven_n speak_v to_o i_o and_o i_o send_v a_o answer_n to_o heaven_n again_o how_o willing_a my_o soul_n be_v to_o therefore_o they_o must_v be_v holy_a now_o this_o may_v suffice_v for_o that_o first_o thing_n that_o this_o be_v not_o a_o ordinance_n for_o all_o sort_n of_o people_n but_o such_o as_o have_v reconcile_v to_o god_n and_o so_o be_v fit_a to_o sit_v at_o the_o table_n of_o god_n and_o to_o enjoy_v communion_n with_o he_o and_o with_o his_o son_n and_o with_o the_o saint_n for_o we_o be_v one_o body_n sacramental_o when_o we_o come_v to_o this_o holy_a ordinance_n all_o other_o therefore_o certain_o be_v to_o be_v keep_v from_o this_o sacrament_n but_o such_o 2_o the_o second_o thing_n tell_v the_o church_n to_o tell_v the_o assembly_n of_o the_o saint_n when_o they_o meet_v together_o for_o so_o the_o word_n church_n do_v signify_v and_o we_o find_v in_o the_o 1_o cor._n 5._o chap._n that_o when_o there_o be_v a_o incestuous_a person_n to_o be_v cast_v out_o it_o be_v do_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o congregation_n thus_o far_o you_o be_v bind_v to_o do_v otherwise_o you_o can_v say_v that_o it_o be_v nothing_o to_o you_o if_o wicked_a man_n be_v there_o for_o you_o have_v not_o discharge_v your_o conscience_n and_o so_o you_o come_v to_o be_v defile_v and_o you_o do_v not_o sanctify_v god_n name_n in_o this_o ordinance_n because_o you_o have_v not_o do_v to_o the_o utternost_o of_o your_o duty_n for_o the_o cast_v out_o of_o those_o wicked_a man_n and_o mark_v know_v you_o n_v say_v he_o that_o a_o little_a leaven_n leaven_v the_o whole_a lump_n the_o apostle_n do_v not_o speak_v there_o of_o sin_n but_o of_o the_o wicked_a incestuous_a person_n say_v he_o all_o communion_n of_o saint_n there_o be_v a_o duty_n and_o there_o be_v not_o any_o one_o but_o may_v do_v something_o towards_o it_o thus_o far_o every_o communicant_a in_o every_o communion_n of_o saint_n must_v go_v if_o there_o be_v a_o wicked_a man_n there_o if_o you_o come_v to_o know_v it_o and_o do_v not_o go_v thus_o far_o as_o i_o have_v speak_v you_o be_v defile_v by_o he_o you_o be_v not_o defile_v by_o the_o mere_a presence_n of_o wicked_a man_n for_o that_o be_v a_o mere_a deceit_n and_o gull_n that_o some_o will_v put_v upon_o man_n that_o differ_v from_o they_o otherwise_o take_v two_o or_o three_o and_o after_o that_o to_o tell_v the_o church_n and_o so_o come_v to_o profess_v against_o they_o or_o if_o the_o church_n will_v not_o do_v their_o duty_n as_o they_o ought_v yet_o then_o to_o free_v their_o own_o soul_n as_o to_o profess_v here_o be_v one_o that_o be_v so_o and_o so_o guilty_a and_o may_v be_v prove_v thus_o and_o thus_o and_o so_o for_o my_o part_n i_o to_o free_v my_o own_o soul_n profess_v that_o this_o man_n or_o woman_n ought_v not_o to_o have_v communion_n here_o and_o thus_o you_o come_v to_o free_v your_o own_o soul_n and_o when_o you_o have_v do_v thus_o though_o wicked_a man_n be_v there_o you_o may_v there_o eat_v and_o drink_v and_o not_o be_v defile_v by_o their_o presence_n for_o you_o can_v be_v say_v proper_o to_o eat_v with_o they_o now_o not_o to_o have_v communion_n with_o they_o no_o more_o than_o if_o a_o dog_n shall_v come_v and_o skip_v upon_o the_o table_n and_o take_v a_o piece_n of_o bread_n you_o can_v have_v communion_n with_o he_o because_o he_o take_v it_o no_o more_o have_v you_o with_o those_o wicked_a man_n when_o once_o you_o have_v deal_v so_o fare_v with_o they_o you_o for_o yourselves_o profess_v against_o they_o that_o you_o for_o your_o own_o particular_a can_v have_v communion_n with_o they_o herein_o this_o be_v not_o to_o eat_v with_o they_o the_o apostle_n in_o 1_o cor._n 5._o and_o those_o that_o be_v in_o no_o communion_n with_o they_o i_o have_v nothing_o to_o do_v to_o judge_v they_o but_o do_v not_o you_o judge_v they_o that_o be_v within_o when_o we_o have_v so_o far_o free_v out_o selve_v as_o profess_v against_o their_o sin_n than_o we_o can_v be_v say_v to_o have_v communion_n with_o they_o and_o then_o we_o do_v withdraw_v from_o those_o that_o walk_v disorderly_a when_o we_o do_v our_o duty_n thus_o far_o 1_o thess_n 3._o 14._o if_o any_o man_n obey_v not_o our_o word_n by_o this_o epistle_n note_v that_o man_n and_o have_v no_o company_n with_o he_o that_o he_o may_v be_v ashamed_a and_o in_o the_o six_o verse_n of_o that_o chapter_n he_o command_v they_o in_o the_o name_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n that_o they_o shall_v withdraw_v themselves_o from_o every_o brother_n that_o walk_v disorderly_a so_o that_o till_o we_o do_v our_o duty_n we_o come_v to_o be_v defile_v but_o now_o if_o we_o do_v our_o duty_n than_o it_o be_v not_o the_o mixture_n of_o a_o congregation_n that_o be_v enough_o to_o hinder_v any_o from_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n there_o and_o this_o will_v tend_v much_o to_o satisfy_v man_n about_o the_o receive_n in_o mix_a congregation_n where_o any_o be_v cast_v into_o they_o and_o be_v actual_a member_n there_o but_o now_o on_o the_o other_o side_n if_o we_o be_v in_o a_o place_n where_o either_o this_o congregation_n will_v not_o take_v upon_o they_o any_o such_o power_n to_o cast_v out_o unworthy_a one_o or_o be_v not_o convince_v of_o this_o power_n than_o there_o be_v no_o rule_n that_o christ_n have_v set_v that_o we_o must_v he_o force_v all_o our_o day_n to_o continue_v to_o be_v in_o such_o a_o congregation_n as_o deny_v one_o of_o the_o ordinance_n of_o jesus_n christ_n if_o so_o be_v there_o be_v any_o such_o that_o be_v wicked_a and_o we_o do_v first_o what_o we_o can_v to_o have_v they_o cast_v out_o and_o we_o wait_v with_o patience_n in_o such_o a_o congregation_n for_o to_o have_v they_o cast_v out_o and_o yet_o we_o see_v that_o either_o the_o congregation_n do_v not_o understand_v that_o they_o have_v any_o such_o power_n or_o deny_v such_o a_o power_n from_o the_o vile_a the_o ordinance_n of_o cast_v out_o the_o wicked_a and_o ungodly_a it_o where_o a_o very_a disease_a body_n and_o in_o danger_n quick_o of_o the_o loss_n of_o life_n to_o take_v in_o every_o thing_n into_o it_o and_o to_o have_v no_o exexpulsive_a faculty_n to_o purge_v any_o thing_n out_o again_o so_o a_o congregation_n that_o be_v altogether_o without_o such_o a_o ordinance_n as_o that_o be_v of_o expel_v such_o as_o be_v wicked_a and_o ungodly_a i_o say_v i_o find_v no_o scripture_n that_o do_v force_v people_n and_o require_v they_o as_o bind_v in_o conscience_n to_o continue_v there_o where_o they_o may_v not_o enjoy_v all_o the_o ordinance_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o the_o right_a understanding_n of_o what_o i_o see_v now_o will_v help_v we_o jesus_n christ_n know_v he_o to_o be_v faulty_a and_o he_o tell_v john_n that_o lie_v in_o his_o bosom_n what_o he_o be_v but_o though_o he_o know_v he_o as_o he_o be_v god_n yet_o he_o deal_v with_o he_o in_o his_o ministerial_a way_n and_o he_o have_v appoint_v before_o that_o none_o be_v to_o be_v cast_v out_o but_o be_v to_o be_v deal_v withal_o in_o such_o a_o ministerial_a way_n so_o that_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o though_o i_o know_v by_o revelation_n from_o god_n that_o such_o a_o man_n be_v a_o hypocrite_n suppose_v god_n shall_v reveal_v from_o heaven_n to_o i_o that_o such_o a_o fire_n from_o heaven_n and_o give_v they_o a_o charge_n to_o keep_v that_o fire_n on_o the_o altar_n constant_o and_o never_o to_o let_v it_o go_v out_o so_o that_o it_o seem_v god_n will_v have_v they_o pick_v out_o his_o meaning_n that_o because_o he_o have_v send_v down_o fire_n from_o heaven_n upon_o the_o altar_n and_o give_v they_o power_n to_o keep_v that_o constant_o god_n will_v have_v they_o therefore_o to_o understand_v that_o what_o incense_n or_o sacrifice_n he_o will_v have_v the_o use_n of_o fire_n in_o it_o shall_v be_v only_o that_o fire_n and_o no_o other_o though_o god_n do_v never_o say_v to_o they_o direct_o in_o these_o word_n you_o shall_v make_v use_n of_o this_o fire_n and_o no_o other_o but_o god_n will_v have_v they_o to_o understand_v this_o that_o be_v their_o sin_n therefore_o in_o offer_v of_o strange_a fire_n now_o fire_n come_v from_o the_o lord_n and_o do_v consume_v they_o some_o think_v this_o fire_n come_v from_o the_o altar_n but_o sure_o it_o can_v not_o be_v any_o ordinary_a fire_n that_o do_v consume_v nadab_n and_o abihu_n at_o this_o time_n for_o you_o shall_v find_v in_o the_o next_o ver_fw-la to_o my_o text_n that_o the_o body_n
