seven_o day_n but_o remember_v the_o sabbath_n day_n the_o day_n of_o rest_n to_o sanctify_v it_o for_o by_o this_o mean_v we_o also_o keep_v the_o four_o commandment_n in_o sanctify_v the_o lord_n day_n for_o as_o the_o jew_n be_v tie_v to_o the_o observation_n of_o the_o sabbath_n and_o have_v one_o of_o he_o seven_o prefer_v unto_o they_o so_o we_o have_v also_o our_o sabbath_n and_o one_o also_o of_o seven_o prescribe_v we_o that_o though_o we_o take_v not_o the_o lord_n day_n as_o it_o be_v such_o a_o day_n of_o seven_o from_o the_o commandment_n yet_o the_o rest_n and_o sanctification_n thereof_o we_o just_o derive_v from_o thence_o that_o undoubted_o the_o gospel_n do_v not_o allow_v a_o worse_a proportion_n of_o time_n for_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n nor_o a_o worse_a manner_n of_o observe_v it_o than_o the_o law_n do_v and_o a_o great_a do_v not_o well_o stand_v with_o our_o ordinary_a calling_n that_o see_v the_o day_n of_o the_o creators_n rest_n be_v which_o can_v be_v casual_a and_o indeed_o nothing_o else_o can_v satisfy_v any_o who_o judgement_n and_o conscience_n can_v be_v overawe_v by_o the_o ordinance_n of_o the_o church_n that_o therefore_o we_o must_v remember_v this_o to_o be_v our_o christian_a sabbath_n for_o so_o we_o may_v just_o call_v it_o though_o neither_o scripture_n nor_o antiquity_n so_o style_v it_o because_o all_o act_n of_o parliament_n and_o proclamation_n of_o the_o state_n so_o entitle_v it_o be_v i_o say_v our_o sabbath_n we_o be_v to_o sanctify_v it_o in_o all_o point_n as_o the_o jew_n do_v they_o both_o for_o the_o time_n which_o must_v be_v 24._o hour_n and_o for_o the_o rest_n do_v nothing_o which_o may_v be_v a_o avocation_n from_o holy_a thing_n as_o for_o sport_n and_o pastime_n the_o vulgar_a be_v set_v upon_o these_o sport_n how_o encroach_a upon_o liberty_n how_o undiscreet_a in_o enjoy_v it_o how_o impatient_a of_o any_o restraint_n therein_o on_o the_o other_o side_n that_o the_o saint_n delight_v in_o consecrate_v a_o sabbath_n glorious_o unto_o the_o lord_n so_o that_o when_o other_o instead_o of_o refresh_v toil_v themselves_o in_o may_n game_n or_o morricedaunce_n or_o worse_o find_v perhaps_o their_o own_o pleasure_n therein_o the_o saint_n find_v nothing_o so_o sweet_a as_o the_o lord_n statute_n nothing_o so_o ravish_v as_o the_o refresh_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n nothing_o so_o amiable_a as_o the_o assembly_n of_o their_o brethren_n be_v make_v thereby_o more_o painful_a and_o conscionable_a in_o their_o several_a calling_n the_o whole_a week_n after_o how_o these_o thing_n which_o seem_v thus_o handsome_o contrive_v do_v hang_v together_o like_o a_o rope_n of_o sand_n consist_v of_o some_o truth_n more_o falsehood_n most_o uncertainty_n let_v the_o indifferent_a reader_n judge_n it_o be_v true_a that_o god_n create_v adam_n in_o paradise_n but_o not_o true_a that_o the_o creation_n of_o the_o world_n be_v make_v know_v unto_o he_o by_o revelation_n for_o then_o to_o what_o pupose_v be_v his_o excellent_a knowledge_n in_o which_o he_o be_v create_v and_o which_o many_o prefer_v beyond_o that_o of_o solomon_n impart_v
