are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty Angels in flaming fire taking vengeance of them who know not God and obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power 2 Thess. 1. 6 7 8 9. We beseech you by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ that ye be not soon shaken in mind c. as that the day of Christ is at hand c. except there come first a falling away and that man of sin be revealed c. 2 Thess. 2. 1 2 3. XXXVII Of the glory prepared for the Saints and reserved to be given to them at the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ. IF in this life only we have hope in Christ we are of all men most miserable 1 Cor. 15. 19.
