so_o from_o thence_o to_o gudgodah_n or_o horhagidgad_v as_o it_o be_v there_o call_v and_o from_o thence_o to_o jotbathah_n or_o jotbath_n as_o it_o be_v here_o write_v to_o answer_v this_o some_o expositor_n say_v that_o the_o place_n here_o name_v be_v not_o the_o same_o that_o be_v mention_v num._n 33._o 31._o 32_o 33._o but_o because_o all_o the_o four_o place_n here_o name_v together_o be_v mention_v also_o together_o there_o and_o that_o with_o so_o little_a variation_n of_o the_o name_n as_o mosera_n for_o moseroth_n and_o gudgodah_n for_o horhagidgad_n and_o jotbath_n for_o jotbathah_n and_o bene-jaakan_a for_o beeroth_n or_o the_o well_n of_o the_o child_n of_o jaakan_n it_o be_v very_o hard_a to_o think_v that_o moses_n in_o these_o two_o place_n speak_v not_o of_o the_o same_o journey_n of_o the_o israelite_n another_o expositour_n therefore_o and_o that_o be_v bonfrerius_n â—he_v jesuit_n answer_v this_o difficulty_n thus_o that_o as_o they_o go_v back_o from_o kadesh-barnea_a to_o the_o red_a sea_n the_o israelite_n go_v indeed_o from_o moseroth_n which_o be_v a_o part_n of_o the_o mountain_n call_v also_o mount_v hor_n to_o bene-jaakan_a as_o it_o be_v say_v numb_a 33._o 31._o but_o as_o they_o return_v again_o from_o the_o red_a sea_n towards_o the_o land_n of_o canaan_n in_o a_o way_n not_o far_o distant_a from_o that_o they_o have_v go_v before_o than_o they_o come_v first_o to_o beeroth_n of_o the_o child_n of_o jaakan_n or_o bene-jaakan_a and_o so_o from_o thence_o go_v to_o moseroth_n or_o mosera_n and_o indeed_o this_o answer_n will_v be_v very_o satisfactory_a but_o that_o there_o be_v one_o objection_n to_o be_v make_v against_o it_o which_o seem_v unanswerable_a and_o that_o be_v that_o both_o here_o and_o in_o deut_n 33._o it_o be_v say_v that_o after_o they_o be_v go_v past_o moseroth_n and_o bene-jaakan_a they_o go_v first_o to_o gudgodah_fw-mi or_o horhagidgad_v and_o thence_o to_o jotbath_n or_o jotbathah_n which_o can_v be_v if_o moses_n speak_v there_o of_o the_o israelite_n journey_n from_o the_o land_n of_o canaan_n towards_o the_o red_a sea_n at_o ezion-gabe_a and_o here_o of_o their_o go_v back_o again_o from_o the_o red_a sea_n towards_o the_o land_n of_o canaan_n since_o if_o after_o they_o have_v pass_v moseroth_n and_o bene-jaakan_a they_o come_v from_o thence_o to_o gudgodah_n and_o so_o to_o jotbath_n as_o they_o go_v from_o canaan_n towards_o the_o red_a sea_n then_o as_o they_o go_v back_o again_o from_o the_o red_a sea_n towards_o canaan_n they_o must_v needs_o come_v to_o jotbath_n and_o gudgodah_n before_o they_o come_v to_o bene-jaakan_a and_o mosera_n there_o remain_v therefore_o only_o one_o answer_n more_o that_o can_v be_v give_v for_o the_o reconcile_n of_o this_o seem_a contradiction_n and_o that_o be_v that_o it_o seem_v the_o israelite_n as_o they_o travel_v from_o kadesh_n towards_o the_o red_a sea_n go_v from_o moseroth_n to_o bene-jaakan_a as_o be_v express_v numb_a 33._o 31._o but_o then_o find_v there_o some_o difficulty_n in_o their_o pass_v forward_o they_o return_v again_o from_o bene-jaakan_a to_o moseâ—a_n which_o be_v that_o remove_n that_o moses_n here_o speak_v of_o but_o be_v not_o mention_v in_o numb_a 33._o and_o so_o fetch_v a_o compass_n about_o take_v another_o way_n and_o go_v forward_o again_o towards_o the_o red_a sea_n first_o to_o gudgodah_fw-mi and_o then_o to_o jotbath_n as_o be_v well_o express_v in_o some_o map_n the_o last_o doubt_n that_o may_v be_v move_v concern_v these_o word_n be_v what_o be_v the_o aim_n and_o drift_n of_o moses_n in_o the_o insert_v of_o these_o two_o verse_n as_o it_o be_v by_o the_o way_n concern_v these_o journey_n of_o the_o israelite_n where_o he_o be_v relate_v what_o he_o do_v at_o mount_n sinai_n and_o for_o this_o we_o must_v know_v that_o the_o drift_n of_o moses_n herein_o be_v by_o the_o mention_n of_o these_o journey_n of_o the_o israelite_n to_o give_v a_o touch_n at_o those_o remarkable_a occurrent_n which_o at_o these_o place_n happen_v that_o may_v serve_v to_o humble_v the_o people_n and_o withal_o to_o quicken_v they_o in_o their_o care_n to_o walk_v upright_o with_o god_n thus_o first_o the_o place_n where_o aaron_n die_v and_o eleazar_n succeed_v in_o his_o room_n be_v mention_v because_o the_o remembrance_n of_o aaron_n death_n may_v humble_v they_o for_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o golden_a calf_n whereby_o god_n be_v displease_v with_o aaron_n and_o because_o the_o continuance_n of_o the_o priesthood_n in_o his_o son_n be_v a_o proof_n of_o god_n be_v reconcile_v unto_o the_o people_n upon_o the_o prayer_n and_o intercession_n of_o moses_n whereof_o before_o he_o have_v speak_v and_o so_o likewise_o their_o remove_n from_o gudgodah_n
