The third Arbour Obseruation of the Sabaoth AFter thou hast laboured thus in the Lordes Vineyarde with continual companie counsell and comforte of the elect it shall behoue thee to call to minde what our Sauiour by the mouth of his seruant Moyses commanded shoulde be establised for a peculiar law amongst the children of God namely That thou shalt keepe holy the Sabboth day Which keeping holy of the Sabaoth for asmuch as he himself first obserued for our example when after his sixe dayes workes hee rested the seuenth day and hallowed it we must therefore so construe this rest and so accomplish the same in our life conuersation that in resting from labour we giue no liberty to idlenesse vaine cogitations vaine speeche nor vaine deedes so resting as though we neuer ceased to turmoyle both bodie in vnquietnesse and soule in desolation For what profiteth this Sabothes rest vnto the bodie with pampering her selfe in carnall pleasures putting on gorgeous apparell wallowing in all kinde
