comfort_n peace_n and_o hope_v and_o they_o build_v upon_o it_o as_o a_o man_n that_o be_v stomack-sicke_a he_o cast_v up_o that_o which_o be_v at_o the_o top_n and_o then_o he_o have_v ease_n and_o be_v well_o we_o find_v that_o pharaoh_n himself_o when_o he_o be_v sick_a of_o his_o sin_n he_o can_v not_o be_v quiet_a till_o he_o have_v cast_v up_o his_o sin_n to_o moses_n exod_n 9.27_o and_o pharaoh_n send_v and_o call_v for_o moses_n and_o aaron_n and_o say_v unto_o they_o i_o have_v sin_v this_o time_n the_o lord_n be_v righteous_a and_o i_o and_o my_o people_n be_v wicked_a nay_o he_o be_v so_o sick_a of_o his_o sin_n that_o moses_n must_v be_v bring_v in_o haste_n to_o he_o exod_n 10.16_o then_o pharaoh_n call_v for_o moses_n &_o aaron_n in_o haste_n and_o he_o say_v i_o have_v go_v far_o than_o a_o clear_a conviction_n of_o sin_n and_o confess_v of_o it_o to_o other_o they_o will_v sorrow_n and_o mourn_v and_o shed_v tear_n and_o the_o like_a and_o they_o think_v because_o of_o this_o sure_o i_o be_o a_o child_n of_o god_n and_o they_o lay_v no_o deep_a foundation_n they_o have_v no_o other_o foundation_n but_o this_o all_o their_o comfort_n all_o their_o joy_n and_o all_o their_o hope_n be_v lay_v here_o but_o this_o be_v a_o false_a foundath_n 1_o king_n 2.27_o and_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v when_o ahab_n hear_v those_o word_n that_o he_o rend_v his_o cloth_n and_o put_v sackcloth_n upon_o his_o flesh_n and_o fast_v and_o lay_v in_o sackcloth_n and_o go_v soft_o a_o king_n and_o yet_o how_o do_v he_o humble_v himself_o ahab_n throw_v off_o his_o kingly_a royal_a robe_n and_o put_v on_o sackcloth_n and_o go_v soft_o yet_o you_o see_v what_o be_v say_v of_o ahab_n there_o be_v none_o like_o unto_o ahab_n that_o sell_v himself_o to_o do_v wickedness_n in_o such_o a_o one_o as_o i_o be_o here_o i_o lie_v tread_v upon_o i_o do_v what_o thou_o will_v i_o know_v not_o what_o to_o do_v say_v the_o soul_n now_o here_o be_v a_o soul_n convince_v of_o righteousness_n so_o as_o it_o be_v come_v to_o see_v if_o i_o have_v all_o the_o righteousness_n of_o man_n and_o angel_n all_o be_v nothing_o though_o it_o be_v as_o righteous_a as_o adam_n in_o innocency_n all_o be_v nothing_o if_o it_o be_v as_o righteous_a as_o noah_n adam_n peter_n all_o be_v nothing_o why_o this_o it_o be_v for_o a_o soul_n to_o come_v to_o be_v convince_v ofrighteousnes_n now_o if_o in_o any_o thing_n that_o yet_o i_o have_v say_v it_o be_v here_o wherein_o a_o true_a sincere_a heart_n go_v beyond_o a_o hypocrite_n a_o hypocrite_n will_v go_v with_o a_o true_a child_n of_o god_n through_o all_o the_o other_o do_v a_o true_a child_n of_o god_n confess_v &_o mourn_v for_o his_o sin_n and_o repent_v and_o revenge_v himself_o and_o reform_v and_o have_v he_o joy_n and_o delight_n in_o duty_n be_v and_o do_v he_o deny_v himself_o &_o have_v he_o good_a aim_n and_o end_n have_v he_o particular_a word_n give_v in_o have_v he_o put_v forth_o act_n of_o faith_n so_o do_v the_o hypocrite_n all_o these_o thing_n though_o none_o of_o they_o in_o truth_n and_o in_o righteousness_n yet_o as_o to_o the_o outward_a act_n he_o will_v go_v as_o far_o as_o the_o sincere_a heart_n and_o it_o will_v be_v hard_a to_o find_v out_o the_o one_o from_o the_o other_o the_o hard_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n yet_o in_o this_o step_n of_o conviction_n of_o righteousness_n the_o child_n of_o god_n go_v beyond_o the_o other_o when_o a_o poor_a soul_n come_v to_o this_o lord_z i_o be_o here_o i_o think_v i_o have_v abundance_n of_o thing_n to_o rest_n in_o i_o think_v i_o be_v so_o rich_a in_o my_o prayer_n and_o so_o rich_a in_o my_o tear_n and_o so_o rich_a in_o my_o resolution_n and_o vow_n i_o have_v such_o good_a fit_n in_o duty_n be_v i_o have_v such_o glorious_a comfort_n and_o joy_n but_o lord_n i_o be_o bring_v to_o this_o i_o be_o nothing_o here_o the_o child_n of_o god_n get_v a_o step_n beyond_o the_o hypocrite_n for_o the_o hypocrite_n be_v never_o thorough_o convince_v of_o righteousness_n but_o when_o he_o be_v convince_v of_o one_o piece_n he_o go_v on_o upon_o another_o and_o when_o he_o be_v beat_v off_o that_o he_o creep_v on_o upon_o another_o and_o he_o be_v upon_o some_o foundation_n of_o his_o own_o but_o now_o when_o the_o lord_n jesus_n come_v to_o take_v possession_n of_o a_o poor_a soul_n he_o beat_v he_o off_o all_o the_o piece_n of_o his_o own_o righteousness_n if_o he_o will_v rest_v upon_o his_o confession_n of_o sin_n and_o mourning_n he_o will_v beat_v he_o off_o there_o and_o if_o he_o go_v high_o to_o resolution_n vow_n and_o revenge_n he_o beat_v he_o off_o there_o and_o if_o after_o this_o he_o rest_n upon_o his_o reformation_n christ_n will_v go_v after_o he_o and_o beat_v he_o off_o from_o piece_n to_o piece_n till_o he_o have_v whole_o conquer_v the_o soul_n to_o himself_o and_o bring_v he_o off_o of_o all_o those_o false_a ground_n and_o quagmire_n that_o the_o soul_n will_v have_v rest_v upon_o and_o perish_v till_o he_o come_v to_o this_o thorough_a conviction_n of_o righteousness_n when_o they_o come_v to_o great_a part_n gift_n and_o ability_n christ_n beat_v they_o off_o of_o this_o till_o they_o come_v to_o settle_v upon_o a_o right_a foundation_n or_o else_o they_o will_v drop_v off_o if_o they_o come_v not_o up_o to_o the_o true_a foundation_n hence_o true_a and_o faithful_a heart_n tremble_v and_o fear_v to_o see_v these_o great_a one_o fall_v upon_o this_o account_n some_o assert_v fall_v away_o from_o grace_n not_o consider_v the_o distinction_n betwixt_o the_o old_a and_o new_a covenant_n and_o the_o different_a truth_n be_v that_o flow_n from_o either_o and_o not_o see_v how_o the_o same_o thing_n in_o appearance_n flow_v out_o of_o both_o root_n when_o they_o see_v the_o fruit_n of_o the_o old_a adam_n they_o think_v it_o have_v be_v grace_n and_o therefore_o conclude_v they_o fall_v from_o grace_n indeed_o they_o fall_v from_o the_o grace_n
