the_o honour_n through_o a_o foul_a appetyte_n all_o the_o lust_n so_o the_o soul_n become_v drunken_a and_o stop_v a_o avaritious_a body_n a_o dot_a body_n a_o man_n set_v on_o pleasure_n a_o dot_a body_n trow_v you_o when_o the_o soul_n be_v so_o oppress_v with_o this_o world_n that_o it_o will_v get_v the_o eye_n open_v up_o to_o see_v christ_n no_o it_o be_v impossible_a christ_n speak_v of_o both_o these_o sort_n of_o drunkenness_n luke_n chap._n 21._o verse_n 34._o now_o brethren_n in_o this_o place_n you_o shall_v understand_v not_o so_o much_o the_o outward_a bodily_a drunkenness_n as_o the_o inward_a spiritual_a drunkenness_n of_o the_o soul_n woe_n to_o that_o soul_n that_o shall_v be_v find_v drunken_a with_o the_o pleasure_n and_o lust_n of_o this_o world_n and_o so_o consequent_o sleep_v when_o christ_n come_v yea_o far_o brethren_z the_o very_a outward_a bodily_a drunkenness_n be_v much_o to_o be_v eschew_v for_o it_o be_v not_o only_o with_o drunkenness_n as_o put_v on_o on_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o worldly_a warrior_n be_v the_o breastplate_n the_o piece_n that_o cover_v the_o head_n be_v call_v the_o helmet_n the_o christian_a warrior_n his_fw-mi his_o own_o breastplate_n and_o helmet_n yet_o more_o you_o see_v there_o be_v two_o part_n of_o the_o warrior_n breastplate_n the_o brestparte_n and_o backparte_v and_o piece_n before_o another_o piece_n godly_a man_n suffer_v before_o i_o i_o will_v hold_v aback_o and_o shrink_v to_o follow_v he_o if_o thou_o see_v one_o martyr_v before_o thou_o thou_o will_v leave_v he_o and_o not_o take_v part_n man_n be_v the_o only_a teacher_n of_o grace_n and_o virtue_n to_o be_v embrace_v by_o the_o auditor_n and_o if_o god_n spirit_n shall_v not_o concur_v inward_o to_o instruct_v the_o soul_n and_o heart_n there_o will_v never_o be_v a_o good_a scholar_n in_o the_o school_n of_o christ_n none_o of_o you_o to_o the_o world_n end_n will_v get_v good_a by_o teach_v it_o may_v be_v man_n teach_v thou_o will_v inform_v thy_o mind_n and_o make_v thou_o to_o understand_v what_o be_v speak_v but_o man_n can_v never_o teach_v the_o hart_n that_o be_v to_o embrace_v that_o be_v speak_v no_o it_o will_v pass_v man_n power_n to_o reform_v the_o hart_n if_o the_o holy_a spirit_n move_v thou_o not_o to_o embrace_v that_o which_o be_v speak_v thou_o will_v never_o embrace_v it_o for_o all_o that_o lord_n come_v with_o this_o word_n and_o teach_v my_o heart_n otherways_o all_o be_v but_o wind_n and_o shall_v be_v a_o aggread_v of_o my_o condemnation_n at_o the_o last_o day_n it_o be_v thou_o lord_n who_o be_v the_o only_a inward_a teacher_n and_o therefore_o except_o thou_o teach_v i_o i_o shall_v not_o be_v teach_v so_o except_o that_o holy_a teacher_n be_v with_o we_o in_o teach_v all_o teach_v thou_o to_o love_v i_o so_o he_o teach_v i_o to_o love_v thou_o mutual_a love_n must_v be_v mutual_a friendship_n stand_v not_o in_o the_o one_o side_n but_o friendship_n must_v be_v conjoin_v to_o friendship_n there_o be_v no_o bond_n in_o that_o bless_a body_n of_o christ_n except_o there_o be_v a_o mutual_a bond_n if_o i_o love_v thou_o never_o so_o well_o if_o thou_o love_v not_o i_o thou_o shall_v never_o be_v in_o the_o body_n for_o as_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o member_n of_o christ_n love_v thou_o so_o thou_o must_v love_v they_o again_o or_o else_o thou_o have_v no_o fellowship_n in_o the_o body_n mark_v the_o order_n which_o the_o apostle_n use_v in_o teach_v when_o he_o instructe_v man_n in_o any_o grace_n there_o be_v some_o fundamental_a grace_n that_o be_v so_o call_v because_o they_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o all_o grace_n to_o wit_n faith_n hope_n and_o charity_n
to_o god_n if_o thy_o conjunction_n be_v not_o with_o jesus_n in_o this_o life_n the_o power_n of_o god_n in_o the_o latter_a day_n shall_v not_o raise_v thou_o to_o join_v thou_o to_o god_n take_v this_o first_o cause_n away_o the_o second_o shall_v not_o follow_v then_o again_o if_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n at_o the_o day_n of_o the_o resurrection_n shall_v not_o be_v put_v as_o it_o be_v out_o love_n he_o be_v but_o a_o naked_a man_n in_o the_o world_n and_o shall_v soon_o be_v destroy_v if_o he_o be_v not_o clad_v with_o faith_n and_o love_n in_o his_o breast_n and_o with_o hope_n in_o gospel_n to_o the_o hunger_a of_o innumerable_a soul_n look_v to_o this_o matter_n and_o take_v up_o yourselves_o that_o the_o lord_n meet_v you_o not_o in_o vengeance_n look_v to_o this_o at_o this_o time_n and_o with_o draw_v not_o the_o moyen_fw-fr whereby_o this_o gospel_n may_v be_v propagate_v in_o the_o world_n i_o speak_v no_o more_o of_o this_o matter_n one_o day_n will_v show_v the_o truth_n of_o these_o thing_n yet_o ere_o i_o leave_v the_o word_n mark_v further_o he_o be_v speak_v of_o the_o godly_a that_o be_v persecute_v and_o he_o bring_v in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n render_v and_o yet_o he_o say_v not_o he_o shall_v render_v vengeance_n to_o they_o that_o afflict_a and_o trouble_v the_o godly_a he_o speak_v not_o of_o they_o that_o be_v afflict_v but_o he_o say_v to_o they_o who_o obey_v not_o the_o gospel_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n so_o he_o touch_v the_o ground_n persecution_n and_o trouble_v of_o the_o saint_n rise_v ever_o on_o this_o ground_n rebellion_n to_o god_n rebellion_n to_o christ_n no_o persecuter_n but_o a_o rebel_n to_o god_n a_o contemner_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n be_v be_v a_o contemner_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n and_o in_o the_o meane-tyme_n with_o this_o he_o comfort_v the_o persecute_v thessalonian_o they_o shall_v not_o escape_v trouble_n who_o have_v trouble_v you_o because_o the_o lord_n his_fw-mi his_o enterest_n and_o therefore_o assure_v theâ—_n if_o there_o be_v no_o other_o thing_n but_o this_o rebel_n against_o god_n and_o christ_n of_o necessity_n vengeance_n must_v follow_v trouble_v ever_o rise_v of_o in_o experience_n the_o lord_n waken_v we_o that_o once_o we_o may_v think_v of_o this_o alas_o there_o be_v such_o a_o stupidity_n in_o the_o hart_n of_o man_n that_o he_o can_v never_o believe_v this_o so_o there_o the_o vengeance_n a_o perdition_n and_o a_o endless_a perdition_n now_o in_o one_o word_n he_o resolve_v this_o particular_a vengeance_n in_o the_o own_o ground_n there_o be_v first_o a_o perdition_n then_o a_o eternity_n of_o perdition_n in_o the_o next_o word_n he_o let_v you_o see_v the_o ground_n first_o of_o perdition_n and_o then_o of_o the_o eternity_n thereof_o as_o to_o the_o perdition_n itself_o he_o say_v it_o come_v from_o the_o face_n of_o god_n the_o wicked_a shall_v not_o see_v so_o soon_o the_o face_n of_o jesus_n christ_n the_o judge_n at_o that_o day_n
