life_n many_o year_n in_o the_o land_n which_o the_o lord_n thy_o god_n have_v give_v thou_o ¶_o the_o minister_n what_o be_v the_o meaning_n of_o this_o promise_n ¶_o the_o child_n that_o god_n will_v endue_v they_o with_o a_o long_a life_n here_o in_o this_o world_n which_o have_v their_o father_n and_o mother_n in_o due_a reverence_n ¶_o the_o minister_n how_o cum_v it_o to_o pass_v that_o god_n promise_v man_n to_o prolong_v his_o life_n here_o in_o this_o world_n as_o if_o it_o be_v a_o special_a benefit_n since_o this_o life_n present_a be_v so_o full_a of_o all_o kind_n of_o misery_n ¶_o the_o child_n though_o our_o life_n here_o in_o this_o world_n be_v never_o so_o full_a of_o wretchedness_n yet_o not_o with_o stand_v a_o long_a life_n life_n a_o long_a life_n be_v a_o blessing_n of_o god_n unto_o the_o faithful_a for_o somuche_o as_o god_n do_v show_v forth_o his_o fatherly_a affection_n towards_o he_o in_o that_o they_o know_v they_o be_v under_o his_o protection_n and_o defence_n ¶_o the_o minister_n may_v a_o man_n gather_v of_o the_o contrary_a part_n that_o he_o who_o live_v not_o many_o year_n be_v accurse_v of_o god_n ¶_o the_o child_n no_o but_o rather_o it_o cum_v to_o pass_v many_o time_n that_o our_o lord_n take_v they_o soneste_a of_o all_o out_o of_o this_o world_n shorten_v their_o life_n who_o he_o love_v most_o dear_o ¶_o the_o minister_n since_o he_o do_v thus_o it_o seem_v that_o he_o keep_v not_o always_o promise_v ¶_o the_o child_n condition_n benefit_n of_o this_o world_n be_v promise_v with_o condition_n yes_o very_o for_o what_o promise_n soever_o god_n make_v we_o touch_v the_o benefit_n of_o this_o world_n we_o ought_v to_o take_v it_o with_o this_o condition_n so_o farfurth_o as_o it_o shall_v be_v expedient_a for_o the_o health_n of_o our_o soul_n for_o it_o be_v a_o mean_n to_o have_v the_o promise_n of_o god_n in_o small_a reputacyon_n if_o the_o eye_n of_o our_o mind_n be_v not_o direct_v further_o than_o to_o considre_v only_o the_o state_n of_o this_o present_a life_n ¶_o the_o minister_n and_o what_o be_v to_o be_v say_v of_o they_o that_o be_v disobedient_a unto_o father_n and_o mother_n ¶_o the_o child_n parent_n the_o ponyshement_n of_o child_n which_o disobey_v their_o parent_n god_n will_v not_o only_o punish_v they_o with_o everlasting_a pain_n in_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n but_o he_o will_v execute_v also_o punishment_n on_o their_o body_n here_o in_o this_o world_n either_o by_o shorten_v their_o life_n either_o by_o procure_v they_o a_o shameful_a death_n either_o at_o the_o least_o a_o life_n most_o miserable_a ¶_o the_o minister_n do_v not_o god_n speak_v express_o and_o namely_o of_o the_o land_n of_o canaan_n in_o this_o promise_n ¶_o the_o child_n yes_o very_o as_o touch_v the_o child_n of_o israel_n unto_o who_o the_o commandment_n be_v first_o give_v but_o since_o it_o have_v please_v god_n to_o receyve_v we_o also_o into_o the_o noumbre_a of_o his_o people_n 3._o psal_n 14_o psal_n 88_o psal_n 3._o we_o must_v take_v it_o in_o a_o more_o general_a significatyon_n so_o that_o in_o somuche_o as_o the_o whole_a earth_n be_v the_o lord_n we_o ought_v to_o acknowledge_v that_o what_o country_n soever_o we_o do_v inhabit_v god_n have_v give_v unto_o we_o the_o same_o for_o a_o dwellinge_a place_n ¶_o the_o minister_n be_v there_o nothing_o else_o to_o be_v understande_v in_o this_o commandment_n ¶_o the_o child_n yes_o for_o notwithstanding_o no_o mention_v be_v make_v in_o it_o express_o but_o of_o the_o father_n and_o mother_n yet_o we_o must_v understand_v in_o they_o all_o magistrate_n ruler_n &_o superior_n for_o so_o much_o as_o there_o be_v one_o manner_n of_o consideration_n of_o theym_n all_o ¶_o the_o minister_n what_o be_v that_o ¶_o the_o child_n as_o god_n have_v give_fw-ge unto_o they_o all_o their_o authority_n and_o preeminence_n and_o because_o there_o be_v no_o prerogative_n of_o superioritye_n neither_o of_o father_n nor_o mother_n neither_o of_o prince_n or_o ruler_n magistrate_n or_o master_n neither_o any_o other_o offyce_v or_o title_n of_o preemynence_n 13._o rom._n 13._o but_o such_o as_o god_n have_v ordain_v therefore_o they_o require_v all_o by_o one_o manner_n of_o reason_n their_o due_a obedience_n ¶_o the_o minister_n sunday_n 29_o go_v now_o to_o the_o sixth_o commandment_n ¶_o the_o do_v hurt_v unto_o our_o neighbour_n ¶_o the_o minister_n be_v it_o enough_o then_o if_o we_o bear_v no_o hatred_n nor_o malice_n towards_o any_o man_n ¶_o the_o child_n no_o for_o in_o that_o that_o god_n forbid_v hatred_n it_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v also_o that_o he_o require_v of_o we_o to_o love_v all_o man_n &_o that_o unfeyned_o from_o the_o bottom_n of_o the_o heart_n procuring_a by_o all_o mean_n their_o wealth_n ¶_o the_o minister_n rehearse_v the_o seventhe_n commandment_n ¶_o the_o child_n thou_o shall_v not_o commit_v adultery_n commandment_n the_o .7_o commandment_n ¶_o the_o minister_n what_o be_v the_o sum_n and_o
