do_v reveal_v he_o to_o we_o that_o in_o his_o nature_n and_o property_n he_o be_v spiritual_a infinite_a pure_a holy_a righteous_a only_o wise_a constant_a omnipotent_a only_o good_a one_o in_o essence_n three_o in_o person_n and_o in_o his_o work_n as_o his_o constant_a decree_n and_o execution_n of_o the_o same_o in_o creation_n and_o government_n in_o all_o most_o admirable_a as_o we_o see_v in_o the_o earth_n with_o her_o furniture_n wherewith_o we_o be_v best_a acquaint_v although_o that_o be_v but_o as_o his_o footstool_n to_o conceive_v of_o his_o glory_n in_o heaven_n which_o be_v as_o his_o throne_n but_o alas_o this_o knowledge_n of_o god_n be_v weak_a even_o in_o many_o a_o true_a christian_a believer_n but_o that_o every_o one_o be_v then_o fit_a to_o learn_v it_o aright_o when_o he_o be_v once_o a_o christian_n furthermore_o we_o must_v acknowledge_v that_o be_v allow_v and_o in_o heart_n yield_v and_o consent_v unto_o the_o truth_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o we_o know_v of_o he_o that_o then_o we_o may_v safe_o and_o bold_o believe_v in_o he_o and_o cleave_v to_o he_o for_o this_o knowledge_n of_o his_o majesty_n cause_v all_o his_o faithful_a one_o to_o be_v true_o knit_v unto_o he_o and_o to_o fix_v their_o whole_a delight_n in_o he_o 73.18_o so_o that_o they_o say_v with_o the_o psalmist_n who_o have_v i_o in_o heaven_n o_o lord_n but_o this_o confidence_n arise_v many_o other_o christian_a duty_n hope_n as_o to_o hope_v and_o look_v for_o that_o help_n which_o in_o confidence_n we_o assure_v ourselves_o of_o from_o the_o lord_n yea_o although_o mean_n be_v want_v yet_o we_o give_v glory_n unto_o god_n 3._o as_o the_o three_o child_n which_o be_v cast_v into_o the_o burn_a furnace_n commit_v themselves_o unto_o his_o protection_n although_o at_o that_o time_n they_o see_v no_o likelihood_n of_o help_n at_o all_o again_o through_o this_o confidence_n we_o be_v not_o afraid_a no_o not_o in_o great_a danger_n but_o be_v patient_a patience_n and_o without_o murmur_a hold_n our_o peace_n because_o we_o know_v 3.7_o the_o lord_n have_v do_v it_o and_o that_o which_o be_v more_o we_o count_v it_o good_a for_o we_o that_o we_o be_v afflict_v 4.4_o and_o receive_v all_o as_o from_o a_o father_n do_v rejoice_v sound_o and_o hearty_o in_o they_o through_o hope_n at_o least_o and_o through_o the_o same_o confidence_n we_o rejoice_v in_o every_o condition_n of_o life_n unspeakable_o yet_o no_o otherwise_o then_o as_o we_o be_v afraid_a to_o do_v any_o thing_n which_o may_v displease_v god_n as_o i_o shall_v say_v afterward_o because_o we_o know_v that_o although_o this_o be_v wearisomnes_n to_o the_o wicked_a yet_o there_o be_v cause_n continual_o offer_v we_o to_o be_v careful_a that_o in_o solace_v our_o soul_n in_o he_o as_o david_n even_o when_o he_o be_v in_o danger_n of_o his_o life_n do_v comfort_v himself_o in_o his_o god_n 1._o sam._n 30.6_o because_o it_o be_v so_o sweet_a and_o childlike_a fear_n 9.31_o desire_v that_o he_o will_v teach_v they_o by_o his_o wisdom_n direct_v they_o by_o his_o providence_n and_o bless_v their_o whole_a course_n so_o as_o they_o may_v comfortable_o feel_v the_o same_o through_o their_o life_n now_o beside_o these_o duty_n of_o holiness_n which_o we_o owe_v direct_o to_o the_o person_n of_o god_n mere_o spiritual_a and_o inward_a commandment_n there_o be_v other_o whereby_o we_o worship_v he_o outward_o which_o also_o be_v part_n of_o this_o holiness_n towards_o god_n it_o follow_v therefore_o now_o to_o mention_v some_o of_o the_o chief_a point_n of_o this_o external_a worship_n of_o god_n both_o public_a and_o private_a and_o in_o what_o manner_n it_o shall_v be_v use_v worship_n but_o before_o it_o be_v to_o be_v know_v who_o will_v worship_v he_o aright_o and_o among_o the_o public_a service_n of_o god_n these_o be_v some_o and_o the_o principal_a prayer_n with_o prayer_n by_o voice_n express_v thanksgiving_n confession_n of_o sin_n censure_n and_o sing_v of_o psalm_n the_o fruit_n of_o the_o lip_n with_o the_o censure_n of_o admonition_n and_o excommunication_n as_o cause_n do_v require_v which_o i_o knit_v together_o for_o brevity_n sake_n see_v i_o have_v only_o take_v in_o hand_n to_o set_v down_o short_o what_o the_o part_n of_o god_n outward_a worship_n be_v not_o large_o to_o handle_v they_o that_o all_o may_v see_v the_o better_a hereafter_o when_o i_o shall_v come_v to_o it_o how_o the_o daily_a direction_n for_o a_o christian_n life_n may_v fit_o be_v draw_v out_o and_o make_v up_o of_o the_o whole_a body_n of_o godliness_n lay_v together_o in_o the_o commandment_n fast_n to_o these_o may_v be_v
hand_n ourselves_o or_o on_o the_o right_a to_o fall_v to_o evil_a and_o danger_n as_o we_o be_v subtle_a to_o beguile_v ourselves_o so_o we_o do_v especial_o in_o this_o one_o thing_n that_o where_o we_o either_o be_v perceive_v easy_o when_o we_o be_v out_o of_o the_o way_n or_o be_v afraid_a of_o ill_a report_n there_o we_o can_v frame_v ourselves_o to_o sobriety_n and_o to_o the_o keep_n of_o measure_n in_o our_o life_n which_o be_v no_o sure_a token_n of_o peace_n and_o safety_n to_o our_o heart_n though_o for_o the_o present_a time_n we_o avoid_v offence_n but_o where_o we_o be_v daily_o conversant_a and_o therefore_o shall_v have_v more_o occasion_n to_o run_v into_o some_o trespass_n especial_o with_o our_o inferior_n before_o who_o we_o think_v we_o shall_v not_o regard_v how_o loose_o we_o behave_v ourselves_o there_o we_o look_v not_o so_o careful_o to_o ourselves_o grace_n which_o shall_v most_o chief_o be_v do_v of_o us._n by_o this_o that_o we_o see_v that_o grace_n be_v give_v to_o a_o christian_a at_o his_o first_o conversion_n to_o have_v victory_n and_o to_o get_v strength_n over_o great_a sin_n long_o delight_v in_o it_o appear_v how_o they_o abuse_v grace_n know_v that_o he_o shall_v not_o enjoy_v the_o grace_n now_o that_o he_o have_v twenty_o year_n ago_o except_o he_o be_v as_o careful_a to_o keep_v it_o as_o he_o be_v then_o to_o come_v by_o it_o yet_o that_o man_n shall_v be_v so_o loath_a to_o strive_v for_o it_o by_o such_o holy_a endeavour_n of_o hearty_a prayer_n when_o they_o wax_v weak_a and_o though_o they_o be_v resolve_v never_o to_o first_o we_o learn_v to_o be_v partaker_n of_o that_o rest_n and_o sabbath_n which_o belong_v to_o the_o people_n of_o god_n from_o the_o which_o god_n command_v in_o the_o canticle_n 2.7_o that_o we_o be_v not_o awake_v by_o the_o other_o we_o be_v to_o learn_v that_o be_v wash_v and_o well_o refresh_v with_o the_o wine_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n we_o may_v sing_v to_o god_n cheerful_o and_o about_o it_o one_o the_o other_o side_n 12.19_o these_o promise_n therefore_o whosoever_o believe_v they_o by_o the_o help_n which_o they_o use_v obtain_v the_o blessing_n namely_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v promise_v so_o that_o it_o be_v not_o the_o bare_a use_v of_o these_o help_n which_o effect_v much_o less_o merit_v any_o such_o fruit_n or_o blessing_n but_o that_o they_o be_v use_v in_o faith_n and_o the_o party_n who_o use_v they_o look_v constant_o for_o blessing_n upon_o the_o same_o and_o power_n and_o strength_n from_o god_n to_o help_v their_o weakness_n this_o be_v necessary_a for_o i_o to_o say_v how_o and_o in_o what_o case_n the_o mean_n and_o help_n which_o we_o use_v to_o the_o constant_a practise_v of_o a_o godly_a life_n become_v effectual_a unto_o we_o namely_o when_o we_o believe_v god_n that_o he_o will_v bless_v they_o to_o us._n 1.6_o and_o indeed_o otherwise_o let_v not_o man_n look_v to_o receive_v any_o thing_n thereby_o which_o the_o apostle_n james_n affirm_v of_o one_o especial_a help_n namely_o of_o prayer_n be_v as_o true_o say_v of_o all_o the_o rest_n that_o he_o which_o doubt_v and_o waver_v when_o he_o shall_v believe_v whether_o
