lust_n yea_o even_o in_o believer_n which_o it_o ever_o lead_v man_n from_o god_n into_o misery_n and_o bondage_n as_o in_o adam_n and_o david_n and_o paul_n complain_v of_o it_o rom._n 7._o gal._n 5._o this_o fight_n against_o the_o spirit_n though_o the_o will_n and_o desire_v of_o man_n be_v natural_a quality_n yet_o when_o they_o be_v set_v upon_o vain_a object_n and_o come_v to_o rule_v and_o draw_v they_o ever_o bring_v into_o bondage_n for_o hereby_o be_v god_n more_o deny_v than_o by_o any_o for_o though_o they_o know_v he_o to_o be_v true_a they_o trust_v he_o not_o and_o as_o for_o a_o stranger_n to_o deny_v and_o distrust_v a_o man_n be_v nothing_o but_o for_o a_o child_n it_o be_v rebellion_n and_o rebellion_n be_v as_o the_o sin_n of_o witchcraft_n it_o deny_v god_n and_o make_v a_o covenant_n with_o the_o devil_n and_o work_n through_o envy_n ever_o to_o destruction_n thus_o unblief_n ever_o rebel_n against_o god_n yea_o raise_v up_o arm_n against_o he_o when_o he_o will_v be_v a_o king_n no_o say_v they_o this_o man_n shall_v not_o rule_v over_o we_o but_o will_v reign_v as_o king_n themselves_o but_o believer_n most_o of_o all_o who_o dwell_v in_o the_o king_n house_n and_o profess_v alledgeance_n and_o service_n and_o yet_o underneath_o practice_n and_o labour_n that_o they_o may_v be_v king_n and_o wear_v the_o crown_n and_o so_o be_v still_o draw_v from_o god_n by_o lust_n and_o fleshlie_o wisdom_n and_o this_o may_v he_o say_v to_o our_o land_n he_o have_v stretch_v out_o his_o hand_n long_o over_o we_o but_o we_o still_o rebel_n witness_n 1._o that_o common_a trade_n of_o iniquity_n as_o common_a as_o breathe_v 2._o that_o hardness_n of_o heart_n under_o the_o veil_n of_o the_o gospel_n 3_o that_o heartless_a deal_n betwixt_o religion_n and_o the_o world_n 4._o that_o cast_v off_o the_o word_n we_o profess_v &_o believe_v not_o that_o to_o be_v true_a which_o we_o know_v etc._n etc._n this_o make_v man_n a_o enemy_n to_o god_n &_o this_o be_v it_o which_o make_v thou_o cast_v the_o son_n out_o of_o door_n we_o walk_v in_o a_o way_n that_o be_v not_o good_a after_o our_o own_o thought_n so_o the_o lord_n may_v say_v they_o have_v forsake_v my_o covenant_n they_o follow_v their_o own_o which_o lead_v into_o a_o ill_a way_n of_o life_n so_o that_o when_o man_n forsake_v the_o simple_a word_n of_o god_n and_o cleave_v to_o the_o device_n and_o invention_n of_o his_o own_o thought_n and_o follow_v they_o he_o forsake_v the_o way_n of_o life_n &_o choose_v the_o way_n of_o death_n which_o never_o prosper_v it_o be_v the_o curse_n that_o lie_v on_o the_o gentile_n that_o he_o suffer_v every_o one_o to_o walk_v in_o his_o
