the_o heart_n but_o it_o may_v also_o very_a well_o be_v apply_v unto_o the_o life_n and_o conversation_n of_o man_n that_o if_o we_o shall_v only_o frame_v our_o life_n unto_o man_n like_n and_o for_o the_o time_n only_o seek_v to_o please_v they_o our_o life_n shall_v not_o be_v such_o as_o become_v the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n and_o therefore_o the_o lord_n himself_o sharp_o reprove_v it_o in_o ezechiels_n hearer_n where_o he_o say_v 33.31_o ezek_n 33.31_o my_o people_n sit_v before_o thou_o and_o hear_v thy_o word_n but_o they_o will_v not_o do_v they_o for_o with_o their_o mouth_n they_o make_v jest_n &_o their_o heart_n go_v after_o their_o covetousness_n where_o you_o see_v the_o lord_n tax_v ezechiels_n hearer_n to_o be_v such_o as_o when_o he_o preach_v unto_o they_o sit_v as_o his_o people_n and_o hearken_v unto_o their_o prophet_n &_o carry_v themselves_o well_o in_o his_o presence_n but_o in_o their_o heart_n run_v after_o their_o covetousness_n and_o out_o of_o his_o presence_n make_v but_o a_o mock_n of_o all_o that_o he_o speak_v unto_o they_o and_o this_o be_v one_o of_o the_o sin_n wherefore_o the_o lord_n threaten_v to_o lay_v the_o land_n desolate_a and_o waste_a let_v this_o then_o teach_v we_o to_o beware_v of_o hypocrisy_n it_o be_v not_o for_o we_o to_o come_v unto_o this_o place_n here_o to_o kneel_v we_o down_o on_o our_o knee_n to_o knock_v our_o breast_n to_o lift_v up_o our_o eye_n unto_o heaven_n to_o sit_v and_o hearken_v unto_o the_o preacher_n and_o when_o we_o go_v hence_o to_o make_v a_o mock_n at_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v speak_v or_o to_o forget_v they_o or_o notwithstanding_o whatsoever_o show_v of_o godliness_n we_o make_v in_o the_o church_n in_o our_o house_n to_o return_v unto_o our_o vomit_n for_o what_o else_o be_v this_o but_o here_o to_o play_v the_o hypocrite_n and_o here_o to_o make_v a_o show_n of_o godliness_n the_o power_n whereof_o at_o home_n we_o deny_v and_o what_o be_v unto_o hypocrite_n but_o a_o woe_n in_o the_o order_n therefore_o of_o our_o life_n let_v we_o not_o depend_v upon_o man_n presence_n or_o absence_n but_o in_o a_o religious_a fear_n of_o the_o lord_n let_v every_o one_o of_o we_o so_o walk_v as_o become_v we_o know_v that_o whether_o man_n see_v we_o or_o see_v we_o not_o yet_o god_n see_v we_o and_o consider_v all_o our_o way_n it_o be_v the_o presence_n and_o pleasure_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o we_o be_v to_o look_v unto_o let_v our_o life_n therefore_o and_o our_o conversation_n be_v as_o in_o his_o presence_n and_o such_o as_o may_v please_v he_o howsoever_o we_o please_v or_o displease_v man_n and_o let_v this_o suffice_v to_o be_v note_v touch_v the_o quality_n of_o such_o a_o conversion_n as_o
